Release notes

In this release, we've focused on making task follow-ups clearer, improving usage reporting accuracy, and polishing several everyday interactions across desktop and web.
New
- Guide reviewed tasks with a clear follow-up intent. Choose Rework, Keep going, Ask, or Double-check when a task needs another pass. Questions instruct the agent to answer without changing files, while a double-check can be started without writing an additional prompt.
- Carry context through retries and cancellations. Retrying or requeueing a task can now include an optional note for the next run. Cancelling or abandoning a task can record a reason in its timeline. These fields use the full composer, including @ references, agent slash commands, and Codex $ skills.
- Complete no-change tasks without merging. When a reviewed task only answered a question or verified existing work, it can be marked complete directly. No empty merge is created, and you can choose whether to keep its worktree.
Improved
- Recent task activity stays at the top. Every task board column now shows the most recently updated cards first, so newly moved, retried, or completed work is easier to find.
- Live guidance reaches Claude more reliably. With the updated Claude Code ACP adapter, instructions sent during a running turn are delivered immediately, and the task remains active until the follow-up work actually finishes.
- ACP troubleshooting logs are more informative. Rejected concurrent prompts and unhandled extension notifications now leave clearer diagnostic traces — thanks to @ijpq for the improvement (#415).
- Bundled agents have been refreshed. Claude Code ACP is updated to 0.65.0, OpenCode to 1.18.14, Cline to 3.0.50, and Kimi Code to 0.33.0.
Fixed
- Token usage now matches what agents report. Claude API calls are counted once, Codex tool-calling rounds are no longer missed, Claude sub-agent usage is included, and usage is assigned to the day the turn began. Existing usage history is rebuilt automatically after upgrading.
- Execution times are accurate across agents. Multi-step Codex turns no longer multiply elapsed time, Gemini no longer includes time spent between messages, and completed Claude replies retain their duration.
- Removed task worktrees disappear immediately. Deleted worktrees no longer remain in the sidebar until a reload, and any local tabs belonging to them are closed.
- Links and popups open reliably in web-based environments. Markdown links and app windows now work correctly in Safari, WebKit-based webviews, and remote desktop mode.
- Hidden editors stay hidden. Git diff panes no longer show through the Task Board, Automations, Token Usage, or conversation overlays.
- Slash command menus are no longer clipped by dialogs. Command suggestions can escape scrollable containers, reposition when space is limited, and remain clickable inside modal views.
- Custom Codex authentication settings are preserved. Saving Codex or model-provider settings no longer overwrites an explicit requires_openai_auth = false configuration.
- Claude transcripts no longer show internal interruption markers. Messages such as [Request interrupted by user], generated internally while applying live guidance, are no longer displayed as if the user had sent them.
