We do not host software
No installer is stored on our servers. Each download button sends you to the address the publisher lists in its package manifest, usually its own website, GitHub releases or a mirror it runs. We never repackage, wrap, bundle or modify a file, and there is no download manager or adware in between.
Because the file stays on the publisher’s server, the publisher alone is responsible for its contents, its licence and its availability.
Accuracy of the information
Versions, file sizes, SHA256 hashes, silent install switches, licences and descriptions are collected automatically from public sources (winget-pkgs, Chocolatey, Scoop, Flathub, Wikidata, Wikipedia and GitHub) and refreshed every day. We check the data for obvious errors, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete, current or correct at the moment you read it.
If a publisher changes a file without changing its address, the hash we show will no longer match. In that case, do not run the file and tell us at info@exeatlas.com.
Safety of downloads
A SHA256 hash shows that the file you received is the one listed in the manifest; it does not prove that the software is free of malware or bugs. Compare the hash, check the digital signature of the installer and scan files you are unsure of, for example on VirusTotal. Install software at your own risk and keep a backup of important data.
No affiliation
ExeAtlas is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Microsoft or any software publisher listed here, unless a page says so explicitly. Windows is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. All other product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the software.
Ratings and reviews
Star ratings and reviews are written by visitors and reflect their own opinions, not ours. We moderate reviews before publishing them, but we are not responsible for what users write.
Licences and paid software
Some programs listed here are paid, trial or proprietary software. Using them may require a licence from the publisher. The licence label we show is taken from the package data; the publisher’s own terms always prevail.

The site and its information are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, ExeAtlas is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of the site, of the information on it, or of software downloaded through links on it.
