Release notes

[1.75.9] - 2026-08-28
Text on the coloured buttons is readable on every theme now. On most of the twelve themes the white
label on a purple, orange or green button was too faint against its own background, worst of all on
Warm Ember where it was barely there. Those labels switch to dark text where dark reads better.
Changed
- Labels on coloured buttons now pick black or white, whichever you can actually read. The main
action button on every tab takes its colour from the theme, and that colour ranges from a deep indigo
to a bright amber, but the label on it was always white. On Warm Ember that put white text on orange,
which measures as barely-there rather than merely low contrast; on ten of the twelve themes it was
below the readable-text standard. The label now switches to dark text on the themes where dark reads
better, which is eight of them. Ten themes look different as a result, and that is the fix: Lavender
and Soft Blossom keep white text because white is genuinely better there.
- The same applies to the red buttons and the checkbox tick. "Delete", "Remove" and the other red
buttons had the identical problem in reverse — their white label was too faint on the dark theme and
fine on the light one — so they now follow the same rule per theme. The tick inside a ticked checkbox
sits on the same theme colour and was likewise always white, so it follows too.

This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.75.9.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.75.9.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.
