Release notes

[1.130.69] - 2026-10-22
A cancelled restore point no longer leaves the rest of the session without one, and a System Restore that stops
answering can no longer hold up every other change.
Fixed
- Cancelling the restore point step left every later change without a restore point. Windows Features and
Preinstalled Apps can be cancelled while they make the session's restore point, and a cancel there still used up
its one attempt: every later change, on any tab, ran with no restore point, and the confirmations stopped
mentioning one. A cancelled attempt is now tried again at the next change. Since 1.68.0.
- A System Restore that stopped answering could block every system change until SysManager was restarted. Undo
Changes stopped waiting for its restore point question after a minute but left the question running, and the next
change that makes a restore point waited behind it while holding the lock every other system change needs. The
question is now called off when the minute ends, and making a restore point gives up after ten minutes wherever it
is made. Since 1.123.0.
- Restore Points could say "Cancelled." about a point Windows had made. A Cancel while the list was read after a
new point turned "Restore point created." into "Cancelled.", and a Cancel during Create said "Cancelled." without
looking, although Windows finishes a point it has begun. After a Cancel the tab now reads the list and says
whether the point was made. Since 1.23.0.

This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.130.69.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.130.69.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.
