Release notes

[1.130.36] - 2026-10-21
A list emptied by a search or a filter says so, and an empty list names the buttons and switches you can see.
Fixed
- A search that matched nothing told you to scan again, or showed nothing at all. On Uninstaller, Right-click
Menu and Task Scheduler, a list emptied by a search showed the message for a list with nothing in it yet, "Click
Scan" or "Run a scan", and scanning again keeps the search; on Task Scheduler the same went for "Hide system tasks"
hiding every task. Preinstalled Apps showed bare column headers. Each now says that nothing matches and how to bring
the rest back. Since 1.24.0 on Preinstalled Apps, 1.45.0 on Right-click Menu and Task Scheduler, and 1.52.38 on
Uninstaller.
- Some empty lists named controls by the wrong name or place. DNS & Hosts said to add a redirect above the list,
where its boxes are below it. Startup Manager named a "Hide Windows entries" switch that is labelled "Hide system",
and its toolbar said "Click Scan" until the first scan ended, beside a button labelled Refresh; the switch's label
and the advice now read one string. System Logs called its severity switches checkboxes. Right-click Menu and Task
Scheduler said to run a scan, and their button is Refresh. Since 0.28.24 on Startup Manager's toolbar, 1.20.20 on
System Logs, 1.42.3 on DNS & Hosts, 1.45.0 on Right-click Menu and Task Scheduler, and 1.76.25 on Startup Manager's
list.
Verify the download
Get-FileHash .\SysManager-v1.130.36.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Expected SHA256: 7B1FD5B834238C55E660E98E2F022953550C6B81A1E6A5048B3706F8F3ED7FA5
This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.130.36.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.130.36.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.
