Release notes

[1.127.10] - 2026-10-09
Escape now stops what is running on every tab with a Cancel button, and F5 works on Drivers, Windows Update and
Disk Analyzer (#2597, #2598).
Fixed
- Escape cancels on the tabs whose Cancel button is always on screen. Quick Cleanup, Deep Cleanup, App Updates,
Windows Update, System Health's chkdsk scan, Drivers, System Logs, Traceroute, and the Dashboard's Quick Tune-Up and
slowdown check did nothing on Escape, although their Cancel button worked. Escape now stops them by the same rules
as on the other tabs: only while something runs, and only after the control you are on has had its own use of the
key. None of them answered Escape, which arrived in 1.76.0, because the test that checks every tab looked only at
Cancel buttons that hide while nothing runs. It now checks every Cancel button.
- F5 lists the drivers, lists the updates and analyzes the folder again. Drivers, Windows Update and Disk Analyzer
ignored F5, because their refresh is called List drivers, List updates and Analyze, and the test that checks every
tab answers F5 only knew refreshes spelled Refresh, Rescan, Reload, Scan or Load. As on every other tab, F5 runs
exactly what the tab's own button runs, and does nothing while that is already running. They had been off F5 since
it arrived in 1.86.0.
Verify the download
Get-FileHash .\SysManager-v1.127.10.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Expected SHA256: 40AAFFCC1D14230E44FE8DE720768D37D704E80A2F5B993C36302B7AEB783526
This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.127.10.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.127.10.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.
