1.35.0 February 23, 2026 — 64-bit EXE
Release notes
- ReadyAPI Compatibility: TestEngine 1.35.0 now fully supports ReadyAPI 3.65.0, ensuring seamless integration with the latest version.
- Java 21 LTS Support: TestEngine now supports Java 21 LTS.
- SLM Licensing and Data-Driven Tests (TSERV-2261 and TSERV-2288): Fixed an issue introduced in version 1.34.0 that prevented SLM licenses from running data-driven tests after the removal of file-based licensing. Data-driven tests now execute as expected with SLM licenses.
- Database Growth and Runtime Exceptions (TSERV-2213): Fixed a memory leak that caused the testengine.mv.db file to grow excessively and trigger runtime exceptions. Updated the H2 configuration to improve memory management and prevent uncontrolled database growth.
1.34.0 October 7, 2025 — 64-bit EXE
Release notes
- ReadyAPI Compatibility: TestEngine 1.34.0 now fully supports ReadyAPI 3.62.0, ensuring seamless integration with the latest version.
- File-Based Licensing Support Removed: As outlined in our File-Based License End-of-Support Policy, ReadyAPI no longer supports Protection LS or file-based license types. ReadyAPI now supports only SmartBear License Management (SLM) licenses. The licensing code is updated accordingly.
- SecurityManager Deprecation: TestEngine no longer supports Security Manager. You can now open any file or network socket permitted by your customer environment or network infrastructure. This enhancement simplifies workflows, reduces frustration, and lowers the number of support cases.
1.33.0 July 11, 2025 — 64-bit EXE
1.32.0 January 30, 2025 — 64-bit EXE
Release notes
- Updated H2 Database to Version 2.2.24: TestEngine now uses H2 Database version 2.2.24, offering better security, performance, and compatibility. If you’re upgrading to TestEngine 1.32.0, you must complete the database migration process to ensure a smooth transition. For more information, visit this page.
- Environment Variable Support for Docker: Added support for environment variables in the TestEngine Docker image. For more information, visit this page.
- ReadyAPI Compatibility: TestEngine 1.32.0 now fully supports ReadyAPI 3.57.0 and 3.58.0, ensuring seamless integration with the latest version.
- H2 Migration Issue Resolution: We resolved a regression issue where incorrect logs were migrated when attempting to migrate an empty database.
