- Drag and drop files from your computer onto a session or Agent in the sidebar to attach them to that session's composer.
- Set tool permissions directly from the composer's mode menu, in addition to the /permissions slash command.
- Added a branch actions menu to the Changes view for commit, update, pull, push, and rename operations.

Added
- Added a branch actions menu to the Changes view for commit, update, pull, push, and rename operations, with short commit SHAs shown in commit navigation.
- Added C# as a language option in the code block language menu.
- Chats can now start child chats that appear nested beneath their parent in the sidebar, with their own transcript, notifications, and plan review.
- Set tool permissions directly from the composer's mode menu, in addition to the /permissions slash command.
- Slash commands registered by installed extensions now appear in the workspace and Quick chat command menus and can be invoked directly.
- You can now drag files from your computer and drop them onto a session or Agent in the sidebar to attach them to that session's composer.
- You can now run Bash and PowerShell code snippets from a conversation directly in the session's terminal, reusing an existing shell when available.

Changed
- Added a search icon and a clearer accessible name to the file filter in the workspace file picker.
- Closing the last tab in an Agent's side panel now collapses the panel, instead of leaving it open on an empty state.
- Improved the Customize → MCP → Add server form with visible labels for server type and key/value columns, clearer row-specific control names, and error text that is visibly identified and linked to its field.
- Prompt history now shows recent prompts immediately when you press the up arrow in an empty composer, searches as you type, and uses a more compact, consistent selection menu.
- Prompt history now shows your recent prompts from the current session first, before you type a search query.
- Reordered the Changes toolbar so the branch sync action (Update branch/Rebase) appears before the Run and Open in actions.
- SSH host connections now show clearer error details when something goes wrong, prompt for your password or host verification again when you reconnect or start a new session, and disconnect in one click without deleting the host.

Fixed
- Agents in the left navigation now use the normal cursor instead of a grab/grabbing hand when hovering or dragging to reorder.
- Clicking a file in the Library now opens that exact file in its own tab, instead of sometimes opening the collection's file browser or replacing the main content.
- Fixed a brief "lost connection" error that could flash after successfully selecting an Azure DevOps repository.
- Fixed a delay of up to 30 seconds when submitting a prompt shortly after leaving a session while it was still starting up.
- Fixed an issue on Windows where creating a browser preview or extension view while closing another could hang the app.
- Fixed an issue where a session could get permanently stuck after a temporary MCP server sign-in failure, preventing it from retrying authentication on later messages.
- Fixed an issue where checking for updates on a linked pull request could incorrectly move an idle conversation to the top of the sidebar.
- Fixed browsing and installing from enterprise-managed private marketplaces failing with a credential error when the associated account hadn't been loaded yet.
- Fixed folder references opening as files instead of revealing the folder in Files.
- Fixed inline reference and attachment pills in the prompt composer so they can be removed with a hover control, show complete selection outlines when drag-selected, keep consistent spacing when wrapped, and support click-to-select with Cmd/Ctrl+click to open.
- Fixed inline review comments sometimes appearing as two duplicate queued messages when the agent was busy.
- Fixed newly created Agents briefly appearing as Done before correctly showing as Working while they start up.
- Fixed pull request descriptions where an image or list item next to a hidden template comment could get merged into the saved Markdown incorrectly.
- Fixed remote sessions on a removed environment repeatedly retrying reconnection; they now correctly show as unavailable while keeping session history and the Delete option.
- Fixed session creation hanging when running Git commands on WSL hosts.
- Fixed skills failing to load for all projects when one saved project's folder was moved or deleted.
- Fixed the app incorrectly blocking access with a "Copilot App" onboarding gate when a second account used for repository access was added.
- Fixed the app not updating to reflect a model change made directly on a remote session's host.
- Fixed the Kimi K3 model showing unsupported reasoning effort options; it now offers Low, High, and Max.
- Fixed the quote-selection keyboard shortcut not working when the composer or another input field had focus, and fixed a stray slash being added to a skill's arguments when invoking it from the slash menu.
- Fixed the reauthorization dialog switching to the wrong account, losing its device code, or closing prematurely when other accounts had unrelated authorization warnings.
- Fixed the repository configuration and extensions trust banner incorrectly reappearing for a previously accepted checkout after accepting trust in another worktree of the same repository.
- Fixed the Send button sometimes staying disabled after confirming a voice dictation transcript.
- Improved screen reader announcements for search results in Automations and Customize, and fixed focus loss when clearing filters.
- Kept the Agent conversation scrollbar at the right edge of the window while the utility rail is visible, instead of stopping at the rail's left edge.
- MCP server questions with predefined answer choices no longer offer a free-text option, so you can only pick one of the choices the server actually provides.
- Restored the close button on the Agents tab in the right panel.
- Starting a new session from an unavailable nested session now keeps it nested under the same parent, instead of creating an unrelated top-level session.
- Stopped showing a "Remote control enabled" toast for every new session when remote control is set as the default for all sessions.

Removed
- Removed the option to turn off the sidebar hover preview; it's now always available when the sidebar is collapsed.
