Release notes
v0.1.35
Fully static musl Linux builds, plus install and CI coverage for them.
- New release assets: x86_64-unknown-linux-musl and
aarch64-unknown-linux-musl. These are fully static (no dynamic NEEDED
entries), so they run on Alpine and any other musl distribution.
- The npm wrapper detects musl at install time and picks the matching
static asset; cargo-binstall resolves the musl target triples from the
same raw-binary naming.
- CI builds and smoke-tests the x86_64 musl target on every push and
asserts the binary is not dynamically linked.
- README install docs list the new musl binaries; the generated npm
package description follows whichever target set the release contains.
- This release keeps the v0.1.34 quality-first baseline: javac parse gate,
full-classpath semantic battery, cure's exact simplification, and the
dependency-closure getclass path.

0.1.34 November 2, 2026 — 64-bit PortableARM64 Portable
Release notes
v0.1.34
Quality first, not just fast: the same javac-verified output, with a much
smaller getclass footprint and faster queries across the board.
- getclass: dependency-closure parsing is now the default. Only the defining
image and images reachable from the target's supertypes, signatures and
code references (plus nested/enclosing classes) are parsed; unresolved
lookups add images and retry, with a full-pool fallback. Peak RSS for a
typical class on large APKs drops from ~1.2GB to ~0.3-0.9GB.
--low-memory keeps the two-tier on-demand mode.
- Query speed: probe-gated DEX prefix inflation for strings, members,
listclasses, pkg, hierarchy and disasm; count-only findrefs summaries;
paged top-K full scans; a bounded inflater pool; libdeflater fast paths;
buffered text output; heap-based largest; and fast ASCII/UTF-8 string
quoting.
- findrefs / HTTP / MCP: count and top scans now back summaries and paged
results; MCP stdio processes a final request without a trailing newline
(xyz-rust 0.4.14 / rmcp 3.8).
- Packaging: direct-install npm tarball, AUR bundle and WinGet local
manifests are attached to every release; npm GitHub Packages, the
Homebrew tap and the Scoop bucket update automatically.
- Docs: both READMEs now lead with verified quality (javac parse gate,
full-classpath semantic battery, cure's exact simplification) and carry
the refreshed 2026-11-02 benchmarks; the CLI reference covers the current
getclass closure, --fast/--symbols and the md format alias.

0.1.33 October 22, 2026 — 64-bit PortableARM64 Portable
Release notes
Highlights
- Non-BMP (supplementary-plane) names and literals now decode and match
correctly: strings, findrefs, members and getclass no longer lose
them to U+FFFD or fail to find them.
- disasm accepts a full method descriptor to select one exact overload,
e.g. 'com.example.Foo.parse(Ljava/lang/String;)V'; a bare method name
still lists every overload.
- Memory: one-shot query processes use immediate allocator purging and a
byte-budgeted wave, cutting peak physical footprint by roughly 25-30%
on multi-dex APKs. Single-class getclass on a 398 MB APK went from
1.17 GB to about 0.87 GB peak.
- Performance: cure 0.1.9 replaces repeated statement-subtree scans with
per-statement name/index tables. A 5k-line class drops from 5.4s to
0.22s in cure; full export of deepseek drops from 8.1s to about 3.0s
and weixin from 53.9s to about 40s, with byte-identical output.
Notes
- No breaking CLI changes. Default output changes only where previously
corrupt non-BMP text is now correct.
- Benchmarks in the README/docs were refreshed and corrected: the previous
table was recorded on an earlier (pre-cure) version; full and --fast
are now separate columns.
- DDC_GET_TWO_TIER=1 is an experimental low-memory single-class path
(small closures only; automatic fallback to full parse). Off by default.
- Dependencies: cure 0.1.9, jdc-core 0.2.17.
