CADCraft is a fast, open-source, clean-room reimplementation of the AutoCAD workflow, rebuilt in pure Rust: the command line, object snaps, layers, dimensions, hatches, blocks and DXF drawings you already know. It runs natively on macOS, Windows, Linux and FreeBSD, and in the browser via WebAssembly.

- Draw and modify: LINE, PLINE, CIRCLE, ARC, RECTANG, POLYGON, ELLIPSE, SPLINE, XLINE, RAY, DONUT, TEXT and MTEXT, plus ERASE, MOVE, COPY, ROTATE, SCALE, MIRROR, STRETCH, OFFSET, TRIM, EXTEND, FILLET, CHAMFER, BREAK, JOIN, EXPLODE, rectangular and polar ARRAY, draw order and OVERKILL.
- Precision: object snaps (endpoint, midpoint, center, quadrant, intersection, perpendicular, tangent and more), polar tracking, ortho and grid snap.
- Layers and properties: Layer Properties Manager with on/off, freeze, lock and plot states, layer tools, and a Properties palette with per-object editing, linetypes, lineweights and true colour.
- Annotation: all DIM* commands with full DIMSTYLE variables and associative dimensions, MLEADER, TABLE, TrueType fonts, MTEXT formatting codes and a single-stroke drafting font.
- Hatch and blocks: pick-point hatch boundaries with islands, pattern, solid and gradient fills, BLOCK/INSERT, attributes and nested blocks.
- Files and plotting: DXF read/write (R12-2018), DWG read/write (R13-2018), PDF plotting, SVG and PNG export, paper-space layouts, viewports, page setups and PLOT.
- Parametric: geometric and dimensional constraints, AUTOCONSTRAIN, PARAMETERS with expressions and hot grips.
- Automation: an MCP server, a JSON control channel and the cadcraft-cli tool.
