Notes de la versió
October 9th, 2026 Release
New Features
- Nested session trees on desktop and mobile, with drag-to-reassign, Undo, subtree activity summaries, and an optional compact one-line view.
- Claude Haiku 5.5 in Claude Agent and Claude Chat; Haiku 4.5 stays selectable.
- Custom Claude models defined under modelPicker in Claude's settings appear in the Claude Code model picker and are sent to your gateway by name.
- Actions can set an effort level, and choosing an action that sets a model or effort switches the composer's pickers to match.
Improvements
- Clicking a link in a document opens it; a hover card offers Edit and Copy.
- The tracker reference preview card shows the item's summary, its key fields, and what it links to.
- 2x2 charts can be resized like an image, their labels stay readable, and shared markdown links show 2x2 charts and Mermaid diagrams as images.
- Confirmations and errors in the desktop app use in-app dialogs instead of system dialogs.
- Effort and Actions menus support typeahead like the model picker.
- Tracker table cells for people and select fields open a choice list with type-to-filter.
- Sessions launched from an action get a descriptive name instead of the action's label.
- Enlarged transcript images support pinch zoom, and editor screenshots in the transcript enlarge over the whole window.
- Re-sharing a tracker type the team already owns is refused instead of overwriting the team's definition.
- Local tracker item numbers (NIM.75) are only given to types that set localNumbers: true.
- Windows no longer keep the full transcripts of sessions they have not opened or recently viewed in memory.
- Streaming agent responses no longer re-render every visible tool card and diff in the transcript on each update.
- iOS: the session list and header take less space.
Fixed
- The Add Project menu stays within the window (#1583, contributed by @jszobody).
- A prompt sent while a session is starting is restored to the composer if the app quits first.
- Structured input form answers submitted after a restart or after the agent call ended now resume the session.
- Claude Code: a follow-up message runs right away while a background command is still running.
- A coordinating session now sees a long-running child session's latest response instead of an old message.
- Moving a session under a new parent no longer sends "moved by the user" notes to old sessions or wakes them.
- Agents can update or archive a tracker item that is missing an unrelated required field.
- Team tracker sync starts even when one item has a backlog of unsent edits too large to load.
- Team tracker items opened right after launch no longer open in local mode before your organization finishes loading.
- Clicking a document link to an existing file now opens it in large workspaces where the file was missing from the scan index.
- Fixed formatting loss on other clients when undoing collaborative text deletion.
- Agent edits to a 2x2 chart in a markdown file show in the editor as a reviewable change.
- Excalidraw drawings embedded in a document no longer show the menu and bottom toolbar until the embed is selected.
- A Mermaid syntax error no longer pushes the window's title bar out of view, and Mermaid flowchart edge styling is restored.
- Transcript reading position stays stable when content above the viewport grows.
- Git Output no longer jumps to the bottom while reading earlier output, and a terminal no longer stops showing output after restoring its saved history.
- Phone sync skips an oversized project file instead of stopping the rest of the upload.
- No error dialog when a credential lock is released mid-check.
- Security fixes in the desktop runtime, YAML metadata, extension archives, file-pattern matching, Git operations, MCP connections and proxy address handling.
- macOS: opening the menu bar panel no longer removes Nimbalyst from the Dock and Cmd+Tab.
- Windows: projects directly under a drive root can send prompts.
- Android: prompts are no longer lost on leaving mid-send or on a dropped connection, offline phones stay signed in, and the app no longer crashes at launch during WebView updates, after moving to a new phone, or without a browser or camera app.
- iOS and Android: the session list no longer briefly shows only phone- and automation-created sessions when the app returns to the foreground.
- iOS: the "Sync interrupted" notice clears on reconnect and is less intrusive.
Local and shared Wikis (beta)
Shared Docs is now the Wiki: a page tree for each project where you and your agents keep the project's knowledge.
- Local and Team sections: Local pages work offline with no account and are stored as plain files in the project; Team pages are shared with your team and available in the web console.
- Typed pages and relations: give pages types and header fields, link them with named relations, and mark sentences as decided or open with citations back to the sessions and sources behind them.
- Agents maintain it: agents can search, create and edit pages, and Claude Code can use the nimbalyst-wiki plugin and the nim wiki CLI without the desktop app.
- History and Trash: every page has history with compare and restore, and deleted pages go to Trash.
