Notes de version

[1.130.6] - 2026-10-20
SysManager opens even when its theme file names no theme, and Environment Variables, Traceroute, CLI Interface and
Right-click Menu each fix one thing they did wrong.
Fixed
- A theme file with no preset could keep SysManager from opening. Loading theme.json took the mode from the file
before checking that the file named a preset. A file without one, edited by hand or brought in by Profile import
from a profile that lacked the field, left the preset empty. In Follow Windows mode the first lookup then threw
while SysManager was starting, before its window existed: one error box, then a SysManager running with no window,
and every later start only handing over to it. In the other modes the Follow Windows button threw instead. The file
is checked first now. One with no preset, or with a mode SysManager never writes, is treated like any other file
that is not a theme: the shipped theme is used, and the file is set aside at the next change. Since 1.82.0, when
following Windows was added.
- Typing %NAME% into an existing Environment Variables value did not make it expand. A variable stored as plain
text (REG_SZ) kept that kind when edited, so a value that now held a token such as %SystemRoot% was saved as
literal text, and Windows never expanded it: a PATH folder added that way pointed at a folder that does not exist.
An edited plain-text value that now holds a %NAME% token is saved as expandable. One with only a percent sign,
such as 50% or a%20b, keeps its kind. Since 1.33.3.
- Traceroute waited at every hop for a name it never showed. Each hop looked up the replying address's host name,
for up to 800 ms and longer when the lookup could not be stopped, before the hop appeared, and auto-trace repeated
that for every target on every round. Nothing has displayed that name since 1.18.0. The lookup is gone, so a trace
takes as long as its pings.
- CLI Interface copied commands for a file nobody has. The example and every Copy button wrote SysManager.exe,
while the download is named SysManager-v<version>.exe, so the pasted line was not found from a script or Task
Scheduler, and copying the --json or --silent row gave a line the command line refuses. Commands are copied
with the full, quoted path of the file that is running now, a modifier comes with --health, which changes
nothing, and the tab says that PowerShell needs & in front. Since the tab was added (1.49.0).
- Right-click Menu changed the names programs give their entries. An entry's own menu text went through the
clean-up meant for registry key names, so "IntelliJ IDEA" read "Intelli J IDEA", "PyCharm" read "Py Charm" and
"Code - Insiders" lost its dash. That text is shown as written now, without its keyboard-shortcut marker; only key
names are split into words. Since 1.7.5.
Verify the download
Get-FileHash .\SysManager-v1.130.6.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Expected SHA256: F47B131442D1AB83D37E77B0300B3D28EB29F62B1F14AC93393F23E3DE7E1425
This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.130.6.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.130.6.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.
