| 0.19.3.20261104.0624آخرین | ۱۳ آبان ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.19.3 is a feature release for macOS, Windows and Linux on top of 0.19.2.
New
- Chats follow the missions they start. When an agent in a chat starts a mission, Runner links the mission to that chat and types a short [runner] line into it when the mission needs you, fails or settles, so the agent no longer has to watch the mission's feed. The sidebar groups linked missions under their chat in Projects and Active; drag a mission onto a chat to link it, or out of the group to unlink it. From the CLI, runner mission link and runner mission unlink change the link, and runner mission start --no-report links without the reports. (#748)
- Use any installed monospace font in the terminal. Settings → Terminal → Font family is now a searchable list of the bundled font and every monospace font installed on your computer. A saved SF Mono, Fira Code or Monaco now loads as that font instead of Menlo. If a chosen font is uninstalled, the terminal falls back to the bundled font and the setting shows it as Not installed. (#931)
Bug fixes
- An agent's runner commands reach the Runner that started it. If your shell's startup files put another Runner build's runner first on the PATH, as some agent installers do, an agent such as Codex could send its commands to that build: a development build's chat started missions in the installed Runner. Commands now always reach the Runner that spawned the session. (#1149)
- Claude Code chats and missions in a new folder no longer stop at the folder-trust prompt. Runner now records the folder as trusted for the account the session uses before Claude Code starts, so a mission's goal is delivered without anyone accepting the prompt. (#1067)
- Runner no longer quits at launch when runnerd drops while the first window opens. The window opens anyway and registers with runnerd when it reconnects. (#1115)
- The new-tab launcher can be closed after you close the active tab. Its ×, the sidebar row's ×, ⌘W and Esc were unavailable while other tabs were still open; they now return to the tab you viewed most recently. (#1146)
- Changing a role's runtime keeps its permission mode. runner role update <role> --runtime <runtime> left the old runtime's permission flags in the role, so every chat from it stopped at once with "The PTY exited with code 1". The flags are now rewritten for the new runtime, and runner role update <role> --permission <mode> repairs a role that was already affected. (#1155)
- A Windows computer reliably saves paired devices in Remote access. A device's kind and last-seen time could stay unsaved while another program, such as a virus scanner, held the file open. (#1143) |
| 0.19.2.20261103.0207 | ۱۲ آبان ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.19.2 is a bug-fix release for macOS, Windows and Linux on top of 0.19.1.
New
- Find in terminal. Press ⌘F (Ctrl+Shift+F on Windows and Linux) in a chat pane, terminal, mission slot or mission drawer terminal to search its scrollback. Matches are highlighted, Enter and ⇧Enter step through them, and Esc puts the terminal back where it was. On Windows and Linux, Ctrl+F still reaches the shell. The shortcut can be changed in Settings → Keyboard shortcuts. (#897)
- New chat is now New tab. The launcher starts chats, terminals and missions, so the sidebar row, the Recents menu, the command palette and Settings → Shortcuts now call it New tab. While the launcher page shows, a dashed New tab row marks it under its project or Recents, and the page closes with its ×, the row's × or ⌘W. (#1117)
- Cloud group in Settings. Account and Remote access move into their own Cloud group, between Integrations and System. (#1101)
Bug fixes
- Switching chats on a remote computer no longer replays the whole screen. Going back to a remote chat showed a burst of page-flipping scroll while the agent reprinted its history. Chats in open tabs now stay attached, and a repaint that does arrive is drawn once. (#1025)
- Codex mission slots resume after a restart. A Codex SessionEnd for a conversation the slot wasn't tracking could replace its saved conversation, and Resume slot then failed with "No saved session found". (#1109)
- Mission messages are no longer held after a confirmed notice. A Claude Code member could stay Unsent long after its previous inbox notice was confirmed, until its pane redrew. (#1125)
- Multi-paragraph messages from Windows mission members arrive whole. runner msg post from a Codex member on Windows stored only the first paragraph. (#1107)
- runner mission answer refuses a question that isn't pending. An answer to an unknown or already-answered ID now fails and lists the pending IDs, instead of being dropped silently. The member's ask_human event ID is accepted too. (#1121)
- Two Runner builds no longer replace each other's daemon. A Runner build that finds another build using the same data now asks you to quit that one first, instead of stopping its runnerd and hanging up its sessions. (#1116)
- Agent usage survives a runnerd restart. After Quit & Stop Sessions, an update or a reboot, the footer usage pill and the Usage popover keep the last numbers instead of showing Checking… until the next fetch. (#984)
- The side panel stays open in a chat and terminal split. Focusing the terminal pane no longer closes the chat's side panel. (#1111)
- Remote Roles and Crews pages are opaque. With the Glass window material, a remote computer's Roles and Crews pages showed the desktop through them. (#1132)
- Paired phones show as phones in Remote access. They used to appear as unknown computers named by their fingerprint. (#1122)
- The model chooser keeps its highlight in view while you move through a long list with the arrow keys. (#1066)
- Side panel resize handles sit on the panel border, so the edge no longer jumps when a drag starts. (#1123) |
| 0.19.1.20261101.1518 | ۱۰ آبان ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.19.1 is a bug-fix release for macOS, Windows and Linux on top of 0.19.0.
New
- Start missions from the launcher. Mission shortcuts, the command palette, crew pages and the + on a project or Recents now open the launcher page: pick a crew, write an optional goal, and start in the selected project and folder. The New mission dialog is gone, and opening the launcher no longer creates an empty tab. A mission's title is the first line of its goal, or the crew and date. (#1097)
- runner mission start needs --title. Scripts and agents that start missions from the CLI now pass a title. (#1097)
- Messages reach Claude Code members mid-turn again. Since 0.19.0, every mission inbox notice waited until its member was Idle. Claude Code queues input typed during a turn, so a working Claude Code member now gets new messages straight away and reads them at its next step. Codex and the other runtimes still wait for Idle, and a draft or recent typing in the terminal still holds delivery. (#1103)
- Settings gear in the sidebar footer. The footer's account avatar is a Settings gear again: one click (or ⌘,) opens Settings, signed in or not. Sign-in and sign-out stay in Settings → Account. Settings → General → Local only is removed, so Account and Remote access are always listed; signing out now returns any window showing another computer to this one. (#1099)
Bug fixes
- Pressing Return in an idle agent no longer blocks its inbox. In 0.19.0, a Return that started no turn in an idle mission member's terminal, such as one on an empty composer, left the member Busy, and no further inbox notices reached it. Runner now returns it to Idle about 10 seconds after a submit that starts no turn. A notice still held behind a stuck Busy after two minutes posts a warning in the mission feed. (#1102)
- Resume keeps the conversation after an early exit. A resume that exits right away no longer clears the chat's conversation unless the runtime confirms the conversation is gone, so the next Resume tries the same one again. This mostly affected Codex. (#1028) |
| 0.19.0.20261031.1040 | ۹ آبان ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.19.0 is a feature release for macOS, Windows and Linux on top of 0.18.3.
New
- Panes as islands. Every chat and terminal pane, and the info panel, now sits in its own island. Its header shows the status, an always-visible Stop/Resume button, and the menu, split and close controls. A stopped chat shows a centered Chat stopped card with its reason and one Resume button. Missions get the same layout: the content, the Sessions/Info rail and an open drawer are separate islands. (#1086)
- One launcher for chats and terminals. ⌘N, the sidebar, a project, the command palette and an empty pane now all open the same launcher in place. It has a search field, your four most recent agents and roles, and Terminal and Mission shortcuts. A click, Enter or 1–4 starts an entry with its saved configuration. On the Start page, the project row under the search field sets the project and folder. A split pane uses its tab's project and starts in the neighbouring chat's folder. In a short pane the launcher drops rows from the bottom so it still fits. (#1092)
- No more terminal drawer under chats. Split the pane or open a terminal tab instead. Shells saved in chat drawers are closed on upgrade. Mission drawers stay (Alt-F12). (#1086)
- Terminals close without asking. A shell pane or mission shell closes as soon as its shell exits. Closing a terminal pane, tab or mission drawer is immediate, even while a command is running. Archiving a running chat still asks first. (#1086, #1092)
- Quieter scrollbars and refined light colors. List and sidebar scrollbars appear only while you hover, scroll or drag, and hide shortly after. Terminal scrollbars are unchanged. Runner Light has refined surfaces, and Rosé Pine Dawn uses Runner's warm terminal background. (#1086)
- Mission inbox notices wait for Idle. Inbox notices are now delivered only once a member is Idle, so messages sent during a turn no longer sit unsubmitted in its composer. A draft hold now ends ten minutes after your last keystroke. Input-method text left behind by a disconnected client is cleared. (#1046)
Bug fixes
- Claude Code hooks no longer time out on Windows. Runner's status hooks for Claude Code, Copilot and Antigravity now get 10 seconds instead of 2. A slow shell start on Windows no longer shows a red "UserPromptSubmit hook … timed out after 2s" error or loses the status update. (#1081)
- Remote access asks new hosts for a PIN. After a new host signs in, its Settings window asks for a PIN and keeps a setup row until one is set. The CLI login prints the same next step. Picking a paused or offline computer now shows an Offline dialog instead of looking like a wrong PIN. After a timeout or relay error, the PIN you entered is kept for one retry. (#1044)
- Extra Claude Code accounts reuse the main settings. An account that shares the main account's configuration now links its settings.json as well. It starts with the main account's effort and settings, and its mission sessions no longer stall at startup. On Windows the link needs Developer Mode; without it, Runner keeps merging the settings as before. (#1074)
- Claude Code's answer marker is no longer a blue emoji on Windows. One-column terminal symbols such as ⏺, ⏸ and ⏹ are now drawn as text with Segoe UI Symbol instead of the color emoji font. This mostly showed when a Windows computer viewed a Mac-hosted Claude Code session. Wide emoji keep their color. (#1064)
- A Codex rollback no longer leaves inbox delivery held. After an interrupt and a Codex rollback, clearing the composer releases the Drafting hold. Submit / clear is offered once Codex's hooks report that the turn is over. (#1018) |
| 0.18.3.20261029.0649 | ۷ آبان ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.18.3 is a feature release for macOS, Windows and Linux on top of 0.18.2.
New
- Choose a project before starting. New chat and New mission now let you choose the project alongside the working directory. The choice follows matching directories, preserves worktree paths and explicit No project selections, and warns when the directory is outside the selected project. Chats added to a pane use their tab's project. (#968)
- A shared goal for every mission member. Crews no longer require a designated lead: every member receives the goal, team conventions and its own brief, and any member can be removed. runner ask "<question>" now asks you directly; --human remains an alias. (#873)
- Status for agents started in a terminal. Compatible programs launched by hand in terminal tabs can now report Working, Idle and Needs you through the Program Status Protocol (OSC 7501), including when their pane is not visible. Existing agent hooks keep precedence. (#861)
- Simplified Chinese user guide. The complete guide is now available in Simplified Chinese, with the same topics and navigation as the English guide. CLI commands and generated help remain in English. (#1058)
Bug fixes
- Codex input waits show Needs you. Runner now recognizes Codex's native approval and question waits instead of leaving the session marked Working, and clears the wait when Codex reports that it has resumed. (#1008)
- Remote sidebar views stay where you left them. Switching computers and returning now restores each remote computer's Show all / Show active only choice and collapsed sections, projects and Active groups, independently in each window. (#1047)
- Unsent inbox notices no longer stall later delivery. If an inbox notice's Return does not take, Runner keeps track of its own text and retries submission without typing a second notice over it. Prolonged delivery holds now produce a mission warning visible in runner mission show. (#1075)
Nightly channel
- A new nightly build for macOS, Windows and both Linux architectures is now triggered automatically after every merged pull request. The shared nightly prerelease and update channels stay the same. |
| 0.18.2.20261027.0516 | ۵ آبان ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.18.2 is a feature release for macOS, Windows and Linux on top of 0.18.1. It brings Runner to Linux as a beta.
New
- Linux beta. Runner now runs natively on Linux ARM64 and x86_64, with signed .deb and tarball packages. Settings → Updates verifies and installs new versions in place, and an opt-in systemd user service keeps runnerd running without the app. This is a beta: it has been tried on an Ubuntu 26.04 ARM64 virtual machine, while native hardware, x86_64 and other distributions are not yet verified. Please report what you find. (#823)
Bug fixes
- Cancel restores Sign in. Pressing Cancel while signing in under Settings → Remote access now makes Sign in available again immediately. The abandoned attempt neither opens a browser nor interferes with a new sign-in, including one started in another window. (#1036, #1040)
- Remote access errors show up right away. When remote access cannot start, signing in or out now reports the actual error on the Remote access card at once instead of waiting about 45 seconds. (#1036)
Nightly channel
- Linux nightlies are published on the shared nightly prerelease alongside macOS and Windows, named Runner_nightly.<sha>.<stamp>_linux-<arm64|x64>.deb or .tar.gz so they appear after the macOS and Windows downloads. Linux nightly installs from before the rename do not see the renamed packages; reinstall once from the nightly page. |
| 0.18.1.20261026.1120 | ۴ آبان ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.18.1 is a bug-fix release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.18.0, focused on remote sessions and reliable terminal status and appearance.
New
- Role and crew management for companion clients. Paired companion clients can now read, create, edit and delete host roles, crews and crew members. Role environment variables stay on the host. (#1031)
Bug fixes
- Return to the remote tab you left. Switching between computers now remembers each computer's selected tab or mission within the current window, including the focused pane in a split tab. If the selected item was closed, Runner opens an available one. (#1037)
- Consistent remote terminal colors. Remote chat and mission panes use the host's terminal palette, preventing mismatched backgrounds and agent colors when the two computers use different themes. (#1029)
- Remote terminals follow your input preferences. Cursor-style changes now apply to remote panes immediately, and double-click word selection behaves like local terminals. (#1035)
- Acknowledged errors stay acknowledged. Remote sidebars no longer bring back cleared crash alerts. Selecting a stopped chat or mission member clears its error and unread indicators on both computers without restarting it. Update both computers for this behavior. (#1034)
- Correct colors after restarting Runner. Runner remembers the terminal palette before resuming sessions, so agents such as Codex start with the correct light or dark background colors. (#1030)
- Working status recovers after a daemon restart. Resumed Codex sessions recover status reporting when their first hook arrives late, instead of remaining Idle while working. (#1013)
Known issue
- Turning off remote access on a host can leave its viewer showing a misleading “Reconnecting…” warning. Clearer offline and remote-access-disabled messaging is tracked separately. (#1041) |
| 0.18.0.20261025.0806 | ۳ آبان ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.18.0 is a feature release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.17.2.
New
- Remote access, a private beta. Connect this computer to a Runner account and reach its chats and missions from Runner on your other computers, even on another network. Sessions are encrypted end to end, and Runner's relay only forwards them. The beta is invite-only and available in mainland China for now: request an invite code in the Runner Discord or WeChat user group, linked from Settings → Remote access and Settings → About. Your agents keep running when a connection drops or the desktop app closes. (#836)
- Open another computer from the sidebar. Once signed in, the computer picker in the sidebar lists your account's computers with their online status. Click one to switch this window to it, or Shift-click to open it in a new window. Its projects, tabs, missions and terminals use the same controls as this computer: start, stop, resume, fork, rename and archive chats, split panes, browse that computer's folders for New chat and Start mission, read a mission's feed, answer its questions and message its crew. A green dot shows when a session there needs your input. (#953)
- Pair computers with a PIN. On the computer you want to reach, turn on Allow remote access and set a six-digit PIN in Settings → Remote access; the other computer enters it once to pair. Five failed attempts in a row lock PIN entry until you unlock it. Runner notifies you when a computer pairs, and Revoke, Forget and Reset remote access remove access again. Signing in to the account alone never grants terminal access. (#952)
- Take a terminal back. When another computer controls a tab, the desktop shows Controlled from over it. Choose Take back to return the whole tab to this desktop, with each pane fitted to its own size. (#953)
- Local only. Settings → General → Local only hides Account, Remote access, the account avatar and the computer picker, and stops access from other computers. It is off by default. (#836)
- runner remote in the CLI. Sign in, check status, list and pair computers, read another computer's overview, set the PIN, list and revoke paired devices, or reset this computer's identity from a terminal, including over SSH. Signing in, pairing and setting the PIN need your own interactive terminal; agents inside Runner cannot do them. (#951) |
| 0.17.2.20261024.0222 | ۲ آبان ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.17.2 is a bug-fix release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.17.1.
New
- Choose how many roles and crews to show. Select 10, 25 or 50 rows per page. Runner remembers a separate choice for each list, keeps open windows in sync, and adapts pagination to narrow windows. (#1007)
Bug fixes
- Type Option-key characters on international Mac keyboards. The new Settings → Terminal → Option as Meta key setting defaults to Automatic: U.S., U.S. International and ABC layouts retain Meta shortcuts, while other layouts can type characters such as @, brackets and pipes. You can also choose both Option keys, either side individually, or Off; word-motion shortcuts remain available. Option+Space in character mode inserts a regular space. (#929)
- Keep wrapped terminal links together. Matching hyperlink fragments in the same table cell highlight together, with surrounding punctuation and neighboring cells excluded. Link destinations and identities are preserved through redraws and session reattachment. (#1006)
- Release mission messages when the live composer clears. Runner follows the current Antigravity and Claude Code input after redraws or resizing, preventing submitted text left in history from keeping the inbox waiting while continuing to hold messages for real drafts. (#995) |
| 0.17.1.20261022.0936 | ۳۰ مهر ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.17.1 is a bug-fix release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.17.0.
Bug fixes
- Codex chats no longer get stuck as Drafting. After you submit a prompt in Codex and its input box is empty again, Runner now detects this and delivers queued inbox messages, instead of holding them back. (#940)
- Wrapped links open as one link. When a long URL wraps onto the next row, hovering any part of it now highlights the whole URL, and modifier-clicking a continuation row opens the full address. (#994)
- Launching Runner again on Windows focuses the running app. A second launch now brings the existing window back to the front, instead of starting another copy that takes over the main window. (#980)
- Mission agents wait for inbox notifications. Crew members now end their turn and read their inbox when Runner notifies them, instead of starting their own feed watchers while they wait for teammates. (#985) |
| 0.17.0.20261021.0256 | ۲۹ مهر ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.17.0 is a feature release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.16.8.
New
- Multiple Claude Code accounts. Keep separate accounts signed in and choose the active account from Settings or the usage menu. New chats and missions use that account; stop and resume existing sessions to switch them while retaining conversation history. Usage is shown per account. (#955)
- Optional shared configuration. Let another account use your main account's memory, skills, agents, commands, enabled plugins, settings and MCP servers. Sign-ins and conversation histories stay separate, and local skills and plugin state are preserved. (#955)
- Dedicated agent settings pages. Each agent now has its own page for executable, defaults and update controls, with Claude Code account management alongside them. (#955) |
| 0.16.8.20261020.1443 | ۲۸ مهر ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.16.8 is a feature release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.16.7.
New
- A scrollbar on the mission feed. The feed now shows the same scrollbar as the sidebar and Settings, so you can see where you are in a long mission and drag to another point. (#947)
- Clearer inbox reads for agents. When an agent reads messages with runner msg read --since or --from and unread messages remain, the CLI now says how many are still unread and how to clear them with a plain runner msg read. Agent guidance and the guide explain the difference. (#965)
Bug fixes
- Long mission feeds stay responsive. Scrolling, typing in the feed composer and new events no longer slow down as a mission's feed grows, including very long posts and long runs of messages from one agent. (#962)
- Restored missions can be resumed. Restoring a mission from Settings → Archived, or with runner mission unarchive, now reopens it: its members stay stopped until you choose Resume, messages work again, and the feed marks the reopen. Before, a restored mission came back to the sidebar but refused to resume. (#890)
- pi members resume their own conversation in symlinked folders. In a mission whose folder is reached through a symbolic link, a pi member that had already worked could lose its conversation on Resume and start over. It now continues where it left off. (#971)
- Active sidebar rows stay in place. Rows in the Active view no longer jump around as agents start, finish, ask for approval or produce new output. Each group keeps its rows in the order they were created, so ⌘1–9 keep pointing at the same rows. (#972) |
| 0.16.7.20261020.0256 | ۲۸ مهر ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.16.7 is a feature release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.16.6.
New
- Collapsible Active groups. In the sidebar's Active view, select the Chats, Missions or Terminals heading to collapse or expand that group, as you can with Projects. Runner remembers which groups are collapsed, and ⌘1–9 number only the rows you can see. (#887)
Bug fixes
- The usage footer is back to its 0.16.5 layout. The sidebar footer again shows weekly usage for every installed, enabled provider, Antigravity included, spread across the control, and the extra line above the footer is gone. (#963)
- The New chat row no longer looks selected. Since 0.16.6, the sidebar's New chat row kept a border at rest. It now shows the border only on hover again. (#959) |
| 0.16.6.20261019.1158 | ۲۷ مهر ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.16.6 is a feature release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.16.5.
New
- An Active view in the sidebar. The new list-filter button beside Search switches the sidebar between Projects and Active, and Runner remembers your choice. Active gathers running chats, terminals and missions from every project, plus anything with unread output or an error, in Chats, Missions and Terminals groups with what needs you at the top. Each tab is one row, as in Projects; selecting a row opens its tab on the pane that needs attention, and ⌘1–9 follow the visible list. Projects keeps its organization and drag and drop unchanged. (#887)
- A simpler usage footer. The sidebar footer now shows weekly usage for Codex and Claude only; select it to open Usage with every provider, including Antigravity. (#887)
Bug fixes
- Paused missions no longer count as running on the Crews page. A mission whose sessions had all stopped, for example after its slots were stopped or Runner's background service restarted, kept showing as running and live. The crew list and crew cards now count only missions with a live session, and a paused mission is labelled paused. (#948) |
| 0.16.5.20261018.1143 | ۲۶ مهر ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.16.5 is a feature release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.16.4.
New
- Address a mission message to several members. In the mission composer, type @ at the start and pick a member to add a recipient chip; repeat to choose several. Click a chip to remove it, or press Backspace in an empty draft to remove the last one. Only the recipients get an inbox notification, so the rest of the crew keeps working undisturbed. A message with no recipients still goes to the whole crew, and mentions in the middle of the text stay text. From the CLI, repeat --to or start the message with mentions: runner msg post "@coder, @reviewer: please check the parser." (#826)
- Agents read only new messages. runner msg read now shows only unread inbox messages, followed by a short digest of what other members sent each other. --all shows every crew message since joining, and --since and --from filter the history. Crew members spend less of their context rereading old traffic. (#826)
- Drop files onto a terminal. Drag files from Finder or File Explorer onto a chat pane, a drawer terminal or a mission slot to insert their paths at the prompt, quoted as when you paste files. The terminal highlights while the files are over it and takes focus when you drop them; nothing runs until you press Return. (#898)
Bug fixes
- Mission messages are no longer lost or left unsent. A message to a crew member could be typed into an agent that was still starting up and left sitting unsent in its input, typed into a draft you had left there, or lost when Runner's background service restarted. Runner now keeps each message until the member receives it, confirms that the agent submitted it, and waits while you have an unsent draft. If a message still is not submitted, the mission slot shows "Message not submitted — press Return". Runner's own notices in the mission feed are now labelled System. (#907)
- pi chats show their real title. A pi chat with no name showed a literal "π" as its title, and a named one showed "π - ". Unnamed pi chats now fall back to the role name like other runtimes, and named ones show just the name. (#941)
- Chats keep a symlinked folder's path. On macOS, a chat started in a folder reached through a symbolic link showed the resolved path in its shell prompt and title instead of the path you chose. Agents also see the correct PWD. (#944) |
| 0.16.4.20261017.0922 | ۲۵ مهر ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.16.4 is a feature release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.16.3.
New
- Runner in English or Simplified Chinese. Choose a language in Settings → General → Language: System (the default, which follows your operating system's preferred language), English, or 简体中文. The change applies right away to every open window, including menus and the command palette, without a restart. Drafts, selections, shortcuts and terminal sessions are kept as they were. Agent output and terminal content are not translated. (#565)
- About Runner on macOS. The Runner menu now has About Runner above Check for Updates…. It opens the standard macOS About panel with Runner's version and build. (#924)
Bug fixes
- Codex mission members keep receiving messages. A Codex member could stop receiving messages after its first turn, including your answer to its question, if Codex switched to a different conversation during that turn or the turn failed without finishing. Runner now treats either case as the end of the turn and delivers the queued messages. (#927, #928)
- Paused missions no longer show an unread dot. The green unread dot is hidden while a mission is paused. It comes back when you resume the mission if responses are still unread. (#920, #923) |
| 0.16.3.20261016.0811 | ۲۴ مهر ۱۴۰۵ | — | ۶۴ بیتی EXE (Inno Setup) یادداشتهای انتشارRunner 0.16.3 is a bug-fix release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.16.2.
Bug fixes
- Runner reopens after a Windows update. After Install and restart, the updated Runner closed again before showing a window, so the update looked as if it had not restarted the app. Runner now waits for the previous background service to exit before replacing it, and moves aside a runner command that is still running. The same fix applies when the installer's Launch Runner opens a new version while the old background service is still running. (#908, #913, #922)
- Runner says why it cannot start. If Runner cannot start its background service, it records the reason in runner.log and, on Windows, shows it in a Runner could not start dialog instead of closing without a message. (#908, #922)
- The agent update dot clears after you update an agent outside Runner. Opening Usage or Settings → Agents now checks the installed agent CLI versions again, so the dot on the Usage popover's Agent settings gear goes away once every enabled agent is up to date. Its tooltip now reads Agent CLI update available, to set it apart from Runner's own updates. (#914, #919) |

New
- Start a mission without a crew. The redesigned Start mission dialog adds No crew: the mission opens empty, and you add roles in place, each with its own task. Members receive the goal, broadcast or message each other directly, and ask you their questions without going through a lead. Messaging turns on once the first member joins. Starting from a crew works as before, and deleting a crew now keeps the missions it started. (#849, #906)
- A start page when nothing is open. Closing or archiving the chat or terminal you are viewing now leaves the window on a start page with New chat, New terminal and New mission, each showing your current shortcut. An empty pane in a split tab offers New chat and New terminal for that pane. (#853, #901)
Bug fixes
- Claude chats in folders with underscores, spaces or non-ASCII names resume after a restart. Runner looked for these chats' saved conversations in the wrong place, so after an update or restart they were not resumed automatically, and Resume opened a blank conversation. Runner now finds them, including folders with very long paths. If a chat already reopened blank, run /resume in it and pick the earlier conversation. (#909, #910)
- Mission messages no longer interrupt a member's first turn. Each member, including a crew's lead, receives messages only after its first turn ends, so a worker's report during the lead's planning turn arrives afterwards instead of being typed into it. (#906)
- Archiving the mission you are viewing returns to the start page. Your saved chat tabs stay, and the Archiving progress pill shows without the Resume / Archive panel flashing up. (#906)
- New chat always opens on Direct chat. It no longer remembers Role chat from last time. Role chat is one click away, with the last focused role still preselected. (#905) |
