- Update Watchdog. A cumulative update does not just patch binaries: it
reinstalls apps you removed, re-enables services you turned off, and
rewrites registry values you deliberately changed. You used to find out
weeks later, if at all, because the tweak screen still said "applied" —
that is what you asked for, and nothing ever went back to check whether it
was still true. History now reports which applied tweaks are no longer in
effect, and re-applies them in one click.
It reports what it can prove and stops there. When Windows has not patched
the machine in between, it says so rather than blaming an update that did
not happen — and a value it cannot read is never reported as reverted,
because "Windows undid your tweak" is not a claim to make about a
permissions error.
- Crash reports, kept on this machine. A crash used to leave no trace you
could act on. In the main window that at least looks like something. In the
elevated helper it looked like nothing at all: no window, so a failure there
meant you clicked apply, the prompt closed, and you were told nothing. Both
now record what happened, and History shows it with a button that copies the
report so you can send it if you want to. Nothing is uploaded, and there is
no opt-in upload either — the profile path and account name are stripped
before anything is written, because the file exists to be pasted in public.
- Pro, paid once. A lifetime plan at EUR 74.99 alongside monthly and
annual. The card states when it pays for itself against the annual plan,
derived from the prices rather than written down.
Fixed
- Reopening the app with the gaming overlay already on screen showed the
"Show" button instead of its controls: the card assumed the overlay was
closed rather than asking.
