Notes de la versió
August 28th, 2026 Release
Cumulative release notes covering everything since v0.74.4.
New Features
- Project Canvas — an infinite canvas where every card is a real, live editor (markdown, mockup, spreadsheet, drawing, mindmap), not a screenshot. Drag files or shared documents onto the board, add sticky notes, frames and arrows, and work with team comments, presence and agent activity. It saves as an open .canvas file that reviews as a diff, works in the desktop app and the web console, and an AI session can build a board for you from a description.
- Animation editor — author step-based technical animations in .anim.json files, with a live stage, scrubbable timeline, retiming, frames that draw real product UI, and MP4 or GIF export.
- Trackers in the web console — work your team's shared trackers in list, table, board, timeline and tag board views, with search, filtering, grouping, column choice, inline editing, comments and drag-and-drop, converging live with the desktop app.
- Organization invitations from the web console — invite people, see who has not accepted, and resend or revoke a pending invitation.
- Design feedback requests — compare mockups inside a request: preview every option, open one full size, and vote without leaving the request.
- Comment on a spot in a shared mockup. Pins sync live, keep their place when an AI regenerates the mockup, and agents can read and reply.
- Right-click a tracker item to jump to the AI sessions working on it, or launch a new session or worktree for it.
- Browse and triage GitHub issues beside pull requests, keeping your investigation status and notes local until you adopt an issue as a tracker item.
- Commit with AI can stage individual hunks, so parallel sessions editing the same file each commit only their own lines.
- OpenCode sessions gain slash commands, Compact, agent roles, and a live model picker for the models you are signed in for.
- Creating an automation can set where its output goes, what the file is called, and whether it starts enabled.
- A session that orchestrates other sessions can interrupt one to deliver an instruction immediately.
Improvements
- Mockups and data models embedded in a document render as the live editor instead of a saved screenshot; existing embeds convert on open.
- Mockup project files open as a read-only preview with a "Convert to canvas" action, writing a new .canvas file beside the untouched original.
- Editing many tracker rows at once — pasting a range, or changing status or priority across a selection — applies as a single update instead of one per row.
- Quick open finds a tracker by issue key or number and puts it at the top.
- AI sessions take less disk: Nimbalyst stops recording progress counters and duplicate screenshots it never displays, and clearing old tool output now prunes existing sessions too.
- The Claude Code CLI provider is off unless you turn it on; the Claude Agent, now marked recommended, already runs on your Claude subscription.
- Calc Sheets mix narrative Markdown with calculations without treating prose as a formula error, and recognize ln.
- Tips in a new session's empty panel rotate, so you work through the set over time.
- Find (Cmd+F) in Tracker Mode jumps to the search box.
- Codex sessions run on the 0.149.1 Codex release.
Fixed
- Reduced freezes during startup, while an AI session edits files, or while opening shared documents, switching projects, saving files, loading sessions, or resizing panes.
- Images attached to a Claude Code session reach the model again; since 0.75.1 every one was dropped without warning.
- Claude sessions on Windows no longer crash at start; if the agent process does die, Nimbalyst says why and retries once.
- Updated bundled dependencies to pick up published security fixes, including ones affecting the auto-updater and extension installation.
- Tracker items stuck on their way to your team now sync, including in projects you aren't focused on.
- Offline team-tracker edits, including archives and deletes, reach the team as soon as you reconnect.
- Shared trackers and team documents connect within moments of launch instead of taking up to half a minute.
- Saved views shared with your team no longer go missing from the tracker sidebar on startup.
- "Accept all" no longer refuses an AI edit by claiming the file changed on disk.
- On a large database, improved backup handling.
- Discarding old tool output reclaims the gigabytes it previously reported as nothing, and says how much of the database its estimate sampled.
- A tracker board with thousands of items draws only the cards on screen.
- Hiding a model in Settings now takes effect in the session model picker for OpenCode, Codex and Copilot. OpenCode models you discover show up in the picker and stay in Settings, per project.
- Reopening a Gemini session shows the tool calls it made instead of only the conversation.
- Codex web search steps finish in the transcript instead of sitting unresolved.
- Sending a queued prompt while a background sub-agent is running no longer leaves the session stuck on "Thinking...".
- A session no longer keeps showing "waiting for your response" once you have typed a new instruction instead of answering.
- Code in the AI transcript no longer picks up stray backslashes before dollar signs, so a shell command you copy out of it still runs.
- Creating a published item while disconnected says the issue key is pending instead of claiming the workspace has no team.
- Documents with a scalar status key in frontmatter render the frontmatter card instead of falling back to the raw text editor (#1392).
- A disabled automation no longer keeps running on its schedule, automations write to the output file name you configured, and a hand-edited schedule Nimbalyst didn't expect no longer stops the automation for good.
- An automation no longer overwrites a report the agent wrote itself.
- Settings can now edit a built-in tracker type you have already customized.
- A tracker type shows the same color and icon everywhere it appears.
- The Set Status menu on a tracker card scrolls, and offers only statuses the selected items can hold.
- The context-usage indicator hides itself for agents that cannot report usage, instead of sitting at 0%.
- A background shell command killed when its turn ends is reported as killed, with how long it ran.
