- Project rules list this project, ~/.agents, and the live agent home. Missing files stay faded at the bottom.
- Shell commands show the full command, with one-click copy of command and output.

- Chat file cards can show the file name only, or the path as the model wrote it. Hover shows the full path immediately.
- Settings → Extensions can type project/home rules and slash commands as real CLI files.
- Session menu can send the current work to a new task with a short handoff brief.

- Shared session data mode is remembered, unless a custom provider needs independent. Independent still uses the app data folder, not always ~/.grok-app (#1228).
- You can pin a generating chat, and pinned chats sit at the top of the list. The pin control stays next to the spinner (#1229).
- The left project list stays smoother when many folders are open. Crowded sidebars collapse once; expanding every folder is remembered (#1230).
- Project rules no longer list the same AGENTS.md three times on macOS.
- Sending or finishing a chat moves it to the top of that project's list. Pinned chats stay first.
- Esc in an image preview closes the preview instead of stopping the turn.
- Sign out now clears expired official credentials even when the CLI reports success.
- Official Use is no longer stolen by a custom provider whose id is grok.
- Rewind after restart no longer uses a Host bubble index the new agent does not have.
- Extra-root write sandbox profiles are used on warm reconnect, not only the first spawn.
- The Windows desktop pet no longer appears as a second Grok taskbar icon.
- Pet chips no longer glue another chat’s text; finished ones stay until opened.
- Official high-effort turns wait longer before the empty-thinking stall banner.
- File-path chips keep the model’s original path when the file-name option is off.
