The lid override and activity simulation are no longer Modern Standby-only:
the tray menu is now gated by what your machine actually has (a lid) rather than by its sleep mode.
New on classic-sleep (S3) machines:
- "Block sleep on lid close" (off by default): the same temporary lid-action override with restore and crash self-healing, previously Modern Standby only. On classic sleep it is a deterministic alternative to away mode.
- "Simulate activity" (off by default): the continuous presence modes — invisible activity or visible mouse movement — now work here too; they keep you looking active rather than adding sleep protection, which classic sleep already fully covers, battery included.
Everywhere:
- Lid-less machines show a disabled "No lid detected" line in place of the lid option, keeping the menu layout identical across devices.
- "Prevent sleep attempts" remains Modern Standby only — away mode already covers every classic sleep trigger, so there is nothing for it to fight.
- Tray menu regrouped: sleep behaviors, app watching, and app lifecycle are now cleanly separated, with the enabled state as the final switch.
- Tooltips reworked in English, Russian and Simplified Chinese: shorter, user-focused, and long ones wrap on multiple lines instead of running off the screen.
Note: the classic-sleep-with-lid combination shares its code path with the verified Modern Standby implementation but was not tested on real S3 laptop hardware.
Still a single executable (net48 build ~250 KB), no new settings keys, dependencies or admin rights; release binaries carry build-provenance attestations.
