PGP Utility 1.2.0 adds safer local exchanges and key recovery. Everything runs on your machine, without accounts, app telemetry or keyserver access.
- Validate key identities, key permissions, expiry and revocation before use.
- Preserve existing files and exports, including failures and filename collisions.
- Back up and restore keys, extend expiry, change passphrases and manage recovery certificates.
- Confirm deletion using the full fingerprint and explain recovery limits.
- Distinguish good, mismatched and unavailable signatures; edited input clears stale results and footer status.
- Fix key-picker crashes and lost selections, improve accessible labels, and keep controls reachable in narrow or short windows.
- Keep masked passphrases out of accessibility values and text-change events.
- Bundle .NET 10 and verify the actual installers before release.
Security fixes
Users of 1.0.0 and 1.1.0 should upgrade. Back up the existing key-store directory before upgrading. After upgrading, create a backup and test a restore with an older encrypted message.

The actual Windows, Linux and both Mac installers passed synthetic upgrade, historical-message access, migration and backup-recovery checks before attestation and upload. The included acceptance reports summarize those checks. Windows UI inspection covered all five tabs, Light/Dark themes and minimum-size layouts within the documented source coverage.
