[1.128.3] - 2026-10-09
Notification Blocker's switch that silences every notification at once is now called the main switch (#2617).
Changed
- Notification Blocker: the main switch. The switch at the top of the tab is the main switch in its caption, in
the confirmation that warns it also mutes calendar and reminder alerts, on the status line and in the README, and
the comments, log messages, identifiers and test names behind it follow. The fixed arguments a maintenance schedule
runs are described as an allowlist in the same way. What the switch does is unchanged, and so is the name of the
file that counts its writes, because renaming it would lose the count on PCs that already have one.
- A test keeps the older terms out. InclusiveTermsTests reads every text file in the repository, this changelog
included, and fails on a non-inclusive term. The only uses it allows are Windows API names such as
SetMasterVolume, that file's name, and winget-pkgs' own branch in the link and the release steps that reach it.
An earlier pass removed these words by hand in 0.48.22, and they came back with the maintenance scheduler in 1.50.0
and Notification Blocker in 1.56.0.
Verify the download
Get-FileHash .\SysManager-v1.128.3.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Expected SHA256: 5FED6CFFF8AE21179CEFC232BDDE9D9AD84B687A7ED1098636CBF5EDFE866B92
This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.128.3.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.128.3.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.https://github.com/laurentiu021/SystemManager/releases/tag/v1.128.3
