Important! If you are using tools for the first time, please read Beginner's guide and AlienFX-GUI readme to configure out its concept and operation principle.
Fan-SDK_V1.zip have binaries built against older fan control version, use it only in case you know what you're doing (or have Aurora R7), check readme file inside archive first to configure out how to make it working!
Changes into this release:
AlienFan-GUI, AlienMon-GUI:
- Bug fixed: Tray icon not loaded correctly at application start.
AlienFX-GUI:
- New: Application now can control main display refresh rate (thanks xMightyAli from Reddit for idea!):
- At the Settings tab, new setting added under "Battery power save" block, named "Screen refresh rate".
- The same setting "Refresh rate" added to Profiles tab.
- Both setting have a fixed set of the refresh rates (Default, 60, 90, 120, 144, 240).
- At application start, it records current refresh rate.
- In case system switch to DC power and this setting is not "Default" at Settings tab, main screen will be switched to selected refresh rate.
- In case system use AC power and this setting not "Default" for active profile, refresh rate will be switched to it as well.
- Recorded refresh rate used at other cases.
- Please keep in mind, if you screen does not support selected refresh rate, nothing changes - it stays at previous one.
- Only main screen affected by this setting, not secondary screen (because it used for power save mostly).
- In case "Fan control" not enabled into Settings, application do not process G-key anymore.
