Note de versiune

[1.65.13] - 2026-08-17
Three things an audit of the last few releases turned up. Clearing your speed-test history could say it
worked when it had not, the precise bandwidth readings could show a nonsense spike if your PC corrected
its clock, and the Task Scheduler's two "run time" columns looked broken because they only fill in when
you click a row. The version history in this file was also missing three releases' notes.
Fixed
- "Clear history" could report success after failing. Deleting your saved speed-test results rewrites
a file, and if that write failed the app logged it quietly and emptied the list on screen anyway — after
a dialog that told you the data was gone for good. It came back on the next launch, with nothing to say
which was real. This is the same fault fixed for saving a result in 1.65.10; clearing was missed at the
time, and it is the worse half, because you have just confirmed the data should be destroyed. The rows now
stay on screen with an explanation when the file cannot be written.
- Precise bandwidth could show an absurd spike after a clock correction. The per-app readings are
worked out by dividing bytes by elapsed time, and elapsed time was measured with the wall clock. When
Windows corrects the clock backwards — a routine time sync — that measurement went negative, got clamped
to a single millisecond, and every rate on that reading was multiplied by roughly a thousand. A large
forward correction had the opposite effect: every program was treated as idle and dropped from the list,
losing its session totals. Both are gone: the timing now uses a clock that cannot run backwards.
- Task Scheduler's "Last run" and "Next run" showed a dash on every row. Both times come from a
separate lookup that only runs for the row you select, so the columns sat empty until clicked and read as
missing data. They now say "(on select)" in the heading, which is what actually happens — fetching them
for every task up front would mean one lookup per scheduled task, hundreds on a normal PC. The publisher
tooltip on "What it does" is also reachable now on tasks that have no description, which is exactly where
it was the only information available.
- Three releases had no entry in this file. The notes for 1.65.7, 1.65.8 and 1.65.9 were all welded
under the 1.65.10 heading, so this file jumped from 1.65.10 straight to 1.65.6 while carrying five
separate sets of fixes under one version. Since the release workflow copies each entry into the download
page and the announcement, three releases published nothing describing themselves. Each now has its own
entry, 1.56.7 (tagged but never published) is recorded too, and a check now fails the build if a version
between two documented ones is ever missing again.
Verify the download
Get-FileHash .\SysManager-v1.65.13.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Expected SHA256: 41192111E3CB5ED5260CCFF9B6AAAF58483287C2AE3C9E449BBC7CBF17735A1B
This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.65.13.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.65.13.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.
