3.0.2Última versão 11 de setembro de 2026 — 64 bits ZIP
Notas da versão
### Fixed

• profiler:fix class/protocol definitions for MCP ([#123](https://github.com/tuna-f1sh/cyme/pull/123)).
• typos:fix typos in doc comments ([#122](https://github.com/tuna-f1sh/cyme/pull/122)).
3.0.1 11 de junho de 2026 — 64 bits ZIP
Notas da versão
Fixed
- docs: remove double quotes for single quote to fix fish completion (#115).
3.0.0 2 de junho de 2026 — 64 bits ZIP
Notas da versão
Added
- display: hubs have a specific tree termination icon '⊛' (#114).
- display: --mute-hubs arg and mute-hubs config key to apply a single muted colour (default: bright black) to hub device lines instead of per-block colours; colour configurable via colours.muted (#113).
- filter: multi-value --filter-* CLI args (same arg OR'd, different args AND'd via cross-product), --filter-exclude KEY=VALUE for excluding devices, and filter-include/filter-exclude config keys (#111).
Changed
- filter: breaking crate API — Filter is now a single-criterion struct within the new DeviceFilter container type, which replaces Option<Filter> in ProfilerOptions and owns the retain_*/hide_* methods; use DeviceFilter::from(filter) to migrate (#111).
Fixed
- profiler: windows: fix manufacturer string always none on windows falling back to usb.ids (#110).
2.3.0 29 de março de 2026 — 64 bits ZIP
Notas da versão
Big reduction of profiling time^ when filtering by passing options with filter to profiler. Previously, filtering was done post profiling of all devices - even those that would be filtered out. This included opening descriptors and reading data for redundant devices.
Also wrote some more tests to diff actual output of lsusb against cyme --lsusb - found some discrepancies in the tree and tree verbose output which have been fixed.
^ ~O(n) where n is devices on host - ~ because depends on descriptors and number of filter matches. See #104 for more details.
Changed
- tree: default to branch sort to match lsusb and expected.
- main: default --block-operation is add not new (replace) (#106).
Added
- profiler: reduce profiling time when filtering by passing options with filter to profiler (#104).
- profiler: gets active config and alt setting for interfaces.
- profiler: (Linux) sysfs fallback for hub ports, active config and alt setting.
- watch: if not started with --verbose then could not cycle verbose mode with 'v' key.
- arg: hidden --filter-post for filtering post profiling in case fallback to previous behaviour is required.
- icons: defaults include CANnectivity gs_usb devices.
- icons: defaults update Arduino and add Qualcomm EDL.
Fixed
- lsusb: fix --tree --verbose using PCI IDs not root hub USB IDs.
- lsusb: fix --tree -v showing all config and alt interfaces, not just active like lsusb --tree -v.
- main: --device -D not working without --lsusb flag.

Notas da versão
cyme watch subcommand to watch for USB device hotplug events and live edit display settings. A simple TUI proof of concept that grew beyond just showing hotplug events into something quite handy for exploring enumerated devices. It can also edit display settings and save them to the cyme config file.
It's a nice way to customise display blocks: press 'b' to use the editor and 'Ctrl-s' to save. Use '?' for other keybindings. Navigation is mostly Vim-like. Try connecting and disconnecting a device while running cyme watch to see the hotplug events.
The interface is simplistic at the moment but could be re-skinned with something like Ratatui in the future.
Here's a quick demo: https://youtu.be/ohRBrVBRolA
Added
- cyme watch subcommand to watch for USB device hotplug events and 'live' edit display settings (#58).
- no_color option to config. Clearer parity/merge with CLI args.
- device event and DeviceBlock::LastEvent, DeviceBlock::EventIcon. Default is profiled time (P: %y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S) but used by cyme watch to show connect/disconnect events.
- benches for profiling.
- RUST_LOG can be module level eg: RUST_LOG=nusb=info,cyme=debug.
Changed
- build: Makefile targets used in CI (#64).
- custom PortPath type used for get_ methods improves look-up 70-100%. Makes profiler faster as it uses these methods to build the device tree. (801aa).
- simple_logger now logs to stderr so can be redirected without effecting display output: cyme watch 2> log.
- path args String to PathBuf.
2.1.3 4 de abril de 2025 — 64 bits ZIP
Notas da versão
Fixed
- lsusb-verbose: hub dump not reading full descriptor for bcd >= 0x0300 so missing hub descriptor (#63).
- lsusb-verbose: verbose white space and some strings.
Changed
- build: hide --gen behind cli_generate feature (#61).
- lsusb: brought upto date with v018 releae and some pre-v019 features (#62).
Added
- display: negotiated-speed block to show the actual operating speed of the connected device.
