In this version, we have added dark mode support for all application windows.

In previous versions, you could only choose or customize the appearance of the device menu, while all other windows were displayed in the light theme. In this version, we’ve added dark mode support to all windows and menus throughout the application.

The application’s theme – dark or light – is selected automatically based on your system settings. You can also choose the theme manually in the application settings.

Note!
This feature is available only on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
How to update from the previous version?
Just download and install the required installer over the previous version. You do not need to uninstall the previous version. If your license upgrade period is over, feel free to purchase the renewal.

This version improves device handling and stability, especially for card readers, while also fixing several interface issues.

Improvements
- On uninstallation the program activates back all the disabled devices
- Japanese language added, some other languages were updated
- Removed unnecessary text files from the installation package, rewritten readme.txt
Bug fix
- Error could happen when you reorder items in the list of services (Settings -> Device Stop tab)
- Unneeded disabled devices could be displayed
- Some types of card readers couldn’t be appropriately detected or stopped
- BitLocker encrypted card reader cards were hid when “Hide drive letters” option is enabled
- The “Device is going to be disabled” message could be displayed inappropriately

Note! We have recently renewed the code signing certificate, it still hasn’t gain the required reputation so Windows will display you the Smart Screen dialog. Don’t worry, just click “More” link and press “Run Anyway”

This is a small update that includes ability to reorder autorun items, displaying of more types of devices and bug fix.

Reorder autorun items
Now it’s possible to change order of the autorun list items by dragging them with a mouse. Also you can copy an item instead of move by holding Ctrl button while you are dragging the item.
More types of devices is displayed
Now the program displays additional types of devices, e.g. Thunderbolt eGPU
Bug fix
- The program displayed fixed storage devices despite the option “Display all storage devices” is off
- “Unable to stop” dialog displayed every time on device disabling, even when the action completed successfully

This version includes improved support of High DPI screens, bug fix and lots of minor UI improvements.

Improved High DPI support
Previous versions supported screen scaling. But once you set DPI above 150%, the interface started to look weird because they didn’t scale icons with the rest of the UI.
In the new version, this issue has been fixed, and the program now fully supports even the highest-DPI monitors
If you have Windows display scaling enabled for the program, don’t forget to turn it off. To do this, right-click the program’s shortcut, select “Properties”, go to the “Compatibility” tab, and click “Change High DPI settings” button. In the opened dialog uncheck all the boxes. Show more

Bug fix
- The device menu could overlap other dialogs called from it (Options, Device Properties etc)
- Disabled devices disappeared from the system after you delete the program settings
Improvements
- No more notifications while the system is in full-screen mode (e.g. playing a game, watching movie etc)
- Default hotkey to call device menu changed from Ctrl+Shift+S to Ctrl+Win+G (Because the previous key combination is used in many programs as the “Save As” action)
- Many other minor GUI improvements

This is a small but important update, consisting of minor improvements and bug fixes.

Improvements
- Unable to stop dialog: ability to copy processes info to the clipboard added
- Additional debug information is sent in user bug reports when verbose logging is enabled (dump of all system devices and user settings)
- The ‘Display all storage devices’ option is now enabled by default
- Launching the program a second time brings the device menu to the front instead of the main dialog (consistent with the first launch behavior)
Bug fix
- ‘Drive Letters’ tab in the program settings could be grayed out and locked on Win 11
- Text in the troubleshoot service issues dialog was displayed incorrectly in English
- Some JPEG images caused program errors when set as device icons
- PNG images lost transparency when set as custom device icons
- Change device image dialog didn’t preserve its dimensions
- In some cases, the program might have prevented system shutdown
(afterward, the program became unstable and might have displayed errors)
- Loading settings from file might not have worked correctly – some
settings could get duplicated, e.g., autorun settings
- External storage devices without a drive letter weren’t displayed in the
device menu by default (they appeared in the hidden devices section)
- The program might not detect or display certain types of storage devices
- Device names might not be detected for some devices
