- Keep specialist data cached and load soil, observations, and climatology on demand; retain the 4.8.1 renderer and startup performance fixes.

- Normalize additional Open-Meteo forecast fields, including nighttime hourly icons and daily wind/precipitation values. Convert provider visibility and freezing-height units to metres before display, including imperial responses.
