- Away time: when you come back after 10 minutes or more away from your computer, Memory asks what you were doing. Pick Break, Lunch or Personal, reuse a recent answer, or type your own, and it's saved as a Memory. Dismiss the prompt and nothing is saved. You can change this or turn it off in the Away time tab.
- On Mac, Memory no longer counts you as away while your microphone is in use, for example during a call.
- Codex activity in the ChatGPT desktop app on Mac is named after the chat again.
- Fixed a rare crash on macOS 26 that removed the menu bar icon and stopped tracking until Memory was restarted.
- Your activity no longer gets stuck waiting to upload, so your timeline catches up faster.
- On Linux (X11), tracking errors now say what went wrong.
