- Preserves startup preferences during installed updates, migrates enabled startup during automatic portable-to-installed updates, and removes only the uninstalled copy's startup registration.
- Cleans abandoned temporary update directories older than 24 hours without removing recent downloads or unrelated temporary files.
- Targets .NET 10 and publishes self-contained Windows x64 builds; development and CI now use the .NET 10 SDK.
- Adds release-version consistency checks, focused regression checks, installer integration checks, and a reusable WinGet manifest generator.
- Documents the release checklist and bug-report requirements, and refreshes README screenshots with synthetic usage data.
