Muutosloki
[1.65.20] - 2026-08-24
Two fixes for anyone using SysManager with a screen reader. In Startup Manager, every row's "Open"
button announced just the word "Open", so there was no way to hear which program you were about to
open the folder for. In App Blocker, the tick box on each row announced nothing at all.
Fixed
- Startup Manager's per-row "Open" button now says which program it opens. The button carries the
same label on every row, so a screen reader read out "Open" and nothing else — with dozens of
startup entries listed, that is a button you cannot safely press. It now announces "Open file
location for ", matching the on/off switch in the same row, which already named its entry.
- App Blocker's row tick boxes were announced as unlabelled. The name was set on the column rather
than on the tick box itself. A column is a definition rather than something on screen, so the label
never reached the tick box that gets created for each row, and a screen reader had nothing to read.
Each one now announces "Select ". Six other tabs with the same kind of tick-box column were
already doing this correctly; App Blocker was the one that had been missed, and a test now fails the
build if a row control is unlabelled, or is labelled identically on every row.
Verify the download
Get-FileHash .\SysManager-v1.65.20.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Expected SHA256: 382DF032E77445D6D200B3C9DC18936C7F7BF5891939EA040A9CEB21F1349C8B
This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.65.20.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.65.20.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.https://github.com/laurentiu021/SystemManager/releases/tag/v1.65.20
