First paint — session restore 4.5s → 430ms. Progressive <Static> mount streams scrollback in chunks instead of mounting the full history synchronously (#1761). Combined with index-backed mutateCard + O(n) plan.drop + cursor elide (#1769) and the bump to ink@7.0.4 (which ships the flicker fix we'd been carrying as a patch — patch-package machinery is gone, #1809), large session restores no longer block the event loop on startup.
Perf — tokenizer + markdown + search. BPE tokenizer caches its table + bounds per-content counts with a fast-path truncate (#1741), so long sessions don't re-tokenize the world on every turn. CodeBlock syntax highlight is memoized (#1743). Literal-pattern search bypasses the regex worker entirely (#1748). Windows terminal repaint cadence is throttled (#1750) and a BEL → ST swap on Windows stdout stops cmd.exe from beeping on every render frame (#1795).
Cross-platform robustness.
- EXDEV fallback for atomic config writes on OneDrive / NTFS reparse points (#1778) — config saves no longer fail on Windows + cloud-sync
- Apple Terminal mouse-reset crash guarded (#1764); legacy X10 mouse reports without ESC are dropped (#1723); ESC-less CSI recovery is refused when followed by typed text (#1771)
- CLI startup gates on unsupported Node versions with a clear error instead of crashing in the middle of bootstrap (#1757)
- Desktop bundled Node inherits parent TCC grants on macOS (#1749) so file / microphone permission prompts attach to the app, not the helper
- Crash-safe atomic rename for edit-block writes (#1721); completed plans archive instead of persisting across sessions (#1700)
- .devenv and .direnv are skipped by glob / search / directory_tree (#1706)
Memory — CLAUDE.md import for Claude Code migration. Loading CLAUDE.md and ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md alongside the existing REASONIX.md (#1694) lets Claude Code users carry their project / user memory directly into Reasonix without rewriting it.
