Her er 7 versioner af dwm_eotf_rs, fra 14. maj 2026 til den aktuelle 0.19.2. Hver version linker til udgiverens egne installationsfiler.
| Version | Dato | Størrelse | Filer |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.19.2Nyeste | 4. november 2026 | — | 64-bit Portabel Udgivelsesnoter## What's Changed - v0.19.2
• fix:HDR detection in Tray Mode failing on old Windows 11 builds
## What's Changed - v0.19.0
• fix:startup task used a path that didn't work for some users
• fix:in Tray Mode **only**: dwm_eotf_rs caused colors to look wrong **when HDR is disabled**
• fix:`-n/--nits` possibly used disabled/currently SDR/wide gamut/unconnected displays for brightness calculation instead of just HDR ones
• ci:use GitHub Actions to build the executable from now on
• feat:logs are better now
• refactor:reworked entire tray mode logic to be more maintainable
**Full Changelog**:https://github.com/SERGEYDJUM/dwm_eotf_rs/compare/v0.17.0...v0.19.2
## Update Instructions - IMPORTANT!
Since the task path changed in v0.19.0, you **MUST** delete existing tasks!!! Manually, or with a command:
```
.\dwm_eotf_rs.exe unschedule --all
```
## Notes
• With this release, dwm_eotf_rs (while not in Compatibility Mode) will maintain proper colors when you disable HDR globally. The app cannot and will likely never handle correctly cases when some of your active monitors are SDR and some are HDR.
• You can confirm that the binary was really built with a GitHub runner by comparing hash with the one in the workflow run.
• If you haven't read ReadMe after v0.17.0 came out, I insist you do so now.
• Log verbosity is controlled by the `RUST_LOG` env variable. Use the `$env:RUST_LOG = "debug"` PowerShell command when reporting issues.
### Old Notes
• This app requires admin rights for process memory manipulation, utilizes PowerShell for startup registration and reads/writes to registry. |

| 0.17.0 | 8. oktober 2026 | — | 64-bit Portabel Udgivelsesnoter## What's Changed
• fix:Windows' modern UI (Mica material) and other apps that rely on transparency looked wrong when boosting brightness
• feat:add Multi-Plane Overlay toggle (`-m false/true`) that tweaks DWM's OverlayTestMode registry value (**see notes below!!!**)
• feat:add `-n/--nits` option to set the desired SDR content brightness. `--brightness` option with `dwm_eotf`-compatible math still works
• feat:add two new shaders (possibly for older devices) to the main SDR-to-HDR whitelist
## New Contributors
• @Gabarsolon made their first contribution in https://github.com/SERGEYDJUM/dwm_eotf_rs/pull/11
**Full Changelog**:https://github.com/SERGEYDJUM/dwm_eotf_rs/compare/v0.14.1...v0.17.0
## Notes
• The new, optional MPO toggle (`-m false`) extends `dwm_eotf_rs'` reach to _windowed_ SDR games and apps that normally bypass DWM and this app's efforts to fix gamma mismatch (including Chromium/Electron/NW.js/etc-based). It can even force the fix onto Chromium-derived browsers, if you disable HDR there with a flag. The process is a little involved, so **you should read the "Multi-Plane Overlay" and updated "Known Issues" sections of ReadMe**.
• Currently, the `--nits` option uses the highest value of SDR content brightness slider (the one in Windows HDR Settings) stored in registry. You might want to max out the slider to avoid issues with multiple monitors or disconnected HDR displays with registry leftovers.
• Thanks to @Gabarsolon, who determined which shaders must be patched to fix transparency issues.
### Old Notes
• The "set and forget" way to use the app is to put the executable somewhere safe and run it once with `-c schedule`, then run again with `-c` or reboot.
• This app requires admin rights for process memory manipulation, utilizes PowerShell for autostart registration and reads/writes to registry. |
| 0.14.1 | 16. august 2026 | — | 64-bit Portabel Udgivelsesnoter## What's Changed
• feat:a created task now includes launch flags and options
• feat:add shader validation when patching or dumping
• refactor:tray mode logic was simplified, got rid of the extra thread
## Notes
• Autostart in Compatibility Mode has been implemented at last. Running the app once with -c
schedule will allow you to enjoy it in a way I did since first release. |

| 0.11.2 | 18. maj 2026 | — | 64-bit Portabel Udgivelsesnoter## What's Changed
- fix: stop deleting all tasks named dwm_eotf_rs (now only user-specific task gets checked or removed)
New Contributors
- @BPplays made their first contribution in #2
## Notes
- This app requires admin rights (it is somewhat of a debugger). |
| 0.11.0 | 14. maj 2026 | — | 64-bit Portabel Udgivelsesnoter## What's Changed
- feat: added automatic startup on user logon (uses PowerShell to create Task Scheduler entry
\Users\<USER>\dwm_eotf_rs)
- feat: reworked CLI: moved secondary functionality to subcommands and improved help output
- feat: added configurable delay to initial patching in tray mode (to prevent crashes when using
autostart, presumably)
## Notes
- This app requires admin rights (it is somewhat of a debugger, after all).
- Starting with this release, the PowerShell is used, making the app look even more suspicious to AVs. |
