Preserve followed-account filtering through partial Instagram scans, background refreshes and cached startup; recover membership checks and clear them on logout.

Preserve local-folder scope and disabled state through overlapping saves and delayed scans, and keep source settings reachable after disabling the last folder.

Preserve newer Settings edits after failed saves, cancel queued active-use requests after sharing is disabled, and target the portable EXE for Start on login.

Unapplied Settings drafts survive unchanged background refreshes, save acknowledgements, and player-to-empty-folder transitions.

Local folders selected at a drive root now accept media safely. Photos still being copied recover when usable, and their display interval starts after loading.

Incomplete local-folder scans are reported as unavailable rather than empty. Readable media remains available with a warning when only part of a folder cannot be scanned.

Cached content now appears immediately at startup, refresh capture stays hidden, manual refresh restarts at the newest item, Following-list membership filtering is authoritative, and pointer-opened Settings no longer receives keyboard-only focus styling.

A failed Instagram source-page load now stops a pending refresh immediately and shows the existing retryable capture error instead of waiting for the readiness timeout.
