Notes de la versió
0.36.0 - 2026-09-24
Hovering a {{variable}} token now opens its real popover instead of a
separate read-only tooltip, and a collection's export/import round trip
carries every field now instead of losing most of what the UI shows. Also
here: deleting from the collection tree with no confirm dialog, several
layout fixes at the app's default density, and the macOS menu bar's own
name.
Added
- Hovering a {{variable}} token now opens the same popover a click does,
after the usual debounce, instead of a separate read-only tooltip. A click
on the token itself now only places a text caret in it - editing the raw
token text no longer needs arrowing in from an edge.
- Deleting a collection or request from the tree runs immediately, with no
confirm dialog - it was already an undoable soft delete, so the dialog was
guarding a mistake Undo already covers. A collection with a mock server
running still asks, since stopping that mock isn't something Undo brings
back.
- Exporting a bound collection now asks whether to Keep contract
(examples and parameter values only, the existing default) or
Write everything, which writes every field - names, auth, scripts,
saved examples, even new operations - back into the document's own
dialect, Swagger 2.0 included. Importing an OpenAPI, Postman or Insomnia
file now keeps folder nesting and descriptions, collection variables,
execution settings, GraphQL bodies, digest/AWS/NTLM auth and more that
used to silently drop on the way in or out.
- An import preview that skips a request now names it, instead of only
saying how many were skipped.
Changed
- Error messages, dialog copy and labels throughout the app were rewritten
against a new writing guide: "can't" instead of "cannot", one settled
term per concept (like "Vayu's engine" for the sidecar), and plainer
language in place of jargon and dropped metaphors.
- Settings' backup card is now just called Backup - "Workspace" isn't a
Vayu concept.
Fixed
- Toasts, the Trash drawer's item names and Settings' header text could
crowd against the buttons next to them at the app's default density -
several places were sized off the density setting itself rather than a
fixed measure, up to 25% narrower than the class name implied. The same
gap is fixed everywhere else it turned up: menus, popovers, autocomplete
lists, dropdown floors and skeleton placeholders.
- Hovering one variable and then quickly hovering a different one in
another editor could close the second popover instead of the first - a
stale timer from the first was closing whatever was open rather than the
one it was actually scheduled for.
- The popover for a {{token}} in a script or body editor could close
itself while the pointer was still resting on it, unless you'd clicked
inside first.
- The popover for a {{token}} in a header field or the URL bar could
flicker instead of opening.
- The macOS menu bar read "Quit vayu-client" instead of "Quit Vayu".
- A DNS failure and a target server breaking the connection (an empty
reply, a reset, a redirect loop) were both reported as generic
connection or internal errors instead of naming what actually happened.
- Importing an OpenAPI file from a URL that answered with an error page (a
404 or 500) blamed the file's format instead of naming the server's
answer.
- A second delete queued behind one still running could be silently
dropped, and a failed create, duplicate or delete could leave the Dock
reading "Not saved" as if an edit were still pending.
- Introspection reported "HTTP 0" as if the endpoint had actually answered,
instead of naming why nothing came back.
