Notes de la versió
1.54.0 follows up on 1.53.1's swarm fixes for GitHub #36, with the cases their reviews left open.
Swarm: each task reaches its agent alone (GitHub #36)
write_to_terminal with submit: true is how the conductor hands each worker its task.
- Submit clears the agent's input before it types the task. When the input already holds something, such as a prompt an earlier call left unsent or one a person typed, Termpolis deletes it with Ctrl+U, which in Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity alike deletes back from the cursor and sends nothing. It writes twenty at a time, up to ten writes a call, and looks at the input after each write. The task then goes alone, even a task taller than the agent's input box: in 1.53.1 the text in front of such a task was out of sight, and the two could go as one prompt.
- The conductor no longer has to clear an input itself. In 1.53.1, when submit saw other text in the input, it pressed no Enter, and the conductor was told to clear it, with keys it had no reliable way to send. Now, when what is there can't be cleared, the task isn't sent, and the conductor gives it to a new agent.
- Submit looks behind the task too. Ctrl+U deletes only back from the cursor, so if someone moved the cursor back into what the input held, the text after it stays. Submit now looks for other text after the task as well as before it, and presses no Enter if there is any. A leftover of several rows gets nothing typed at all: it can be lines after the cursor, or a text taller than the screen whose rows look alike, such as log lines, and so looks the same after a write that shortened it. Either way, submit says why.
- A restarted agent is waited for. Right after run_command starts an agent again, submit waits for the new agent to show its input and types the task there. In 1.53.1 it could answer that the terminal was at its shell's prompt, and the conductor had to send the task again later. Submit now reads only what the terminal printed since run_command typed the agent's command, so the last screen the old agent left, input box and all, isn't taken for the new agent's input, even when a resize paints it again while the new one starts.
- A resize no longer makes an exited agent look ready. On Windows a resize repaints the whole screen, including the last screen of an agent that has exited. In 1.53.1, submit took that screen for the agent's input and typed the task at the shell's prompt, which would run it as a command. It now sees that the agent is gone and types nothing, and the conductor starts the agent again. This works in PowerShell, cmd and bash, with Termpolis's shell integration on.
Swarm: who is speaking, who is stuck, and Trace from the start
- A worker's "SWARM COMPLETE" without a name no longer ends the swarm. A message that gives no sender name, filed as mcp-client, counts as the conductor's only if, when it was posted, no task existed yet and no worker's terminal was open or had closed at most 2 seconds before. Termpolis used to decide when it first saw the message, so a worker's "SWARM COMPLETE" whose terminal had closed by then could end the swarm, with the worker's words as the summary. Termpolis now notes when each worker's terminal opens and closes, from the launch on, workers a previous swarm left running included.
- A plan the conductor posts without its name, just before it starts its first worker, counts as its own, so the stall warning no longer says it has created nothing.
- A name spelled with lookalike characters no longer passes for system. In the Messages tab, a sender name can look like system when it is spelled, in whole or in part, with characters Unicode lists as drawn like its letters, such as Cyrillic ѕ, Latin small capitals or the symbol ⊤. 1.53.1 filed such a name as written (it folded only fullwidth and other compatibility forms of letters), so a worker could pass a note off as one of Termpolis's own, which the conductor acts on. Termpolis now reads characters that Unicode's list of confusables

Swarm on Windows: the conductor starts, and you can see it (GitHub #36)
- A task with double quotes no longer stops the conductor on Windows.
- Termpolis now sends the conductor its task on stdin, not on its command line. Windows PowerShell 5.1 split the task at every ", and words like --watch reached Claude Code as options, so it exited before doing anything. The built-in conductor prompt has quotes of its own, so part of it was lost on every Windows run.
- The task is read as UTF-8, so em dashes, arrows and ✓ arrive intact. A task longer than Windows's 32,767-character command line works too.
- When the conductor exits, the dashboard says so. It shows Conductor exited (code N) with the conductor's last lines, raises a notification and ends the swarm. When it exits cleanly after creating its tasks, the swarm carries on and ends when they do.
- The stall warning can fire. If the conductor has created no task and posted nothing a minute after launch, the dashboard says it seems stuck. Before, Termpolis's own launch messages kept it quiet.
- Debug shows the conductor. It opens a read-only view of the conductor's output inside the dashboard, while the swarm runs and after it ends.
- Trace fills without Debug. It starts within 15 seconds of the conductor's first message or task. Before, it stayed empty until Debug had unhidden the conductor's terminal.
- Only the conductor completes a task. A worker printing "done" no longer marks its task complete or ends the swarm. A task is completed only through swarm_update_task (or Done / Fail in the Tasks tab), and the swarm ends when every task is, or when the conductor posts its SWARM COMPLETE summary.
- Messages from workers are what their screen settled on, without spinner frames or half-drawn lines.
- Usage limits and menus are reported. When a worker stops on Claude Code's, Codex's, Gemini CLI's or Antigravity's usage limit, or on a menu that waits for an answer, the dashboard says why and the conductor is told once. The conductor checks the worker's screen first, then gives a stopped task to another installed agent, or picks the menu's option. Only what the CLI itself draws at the bottom of its screen counts, never the same words in an answer, a file or a log.
- write_to_terminal can press Enter for the agent. With submit: true it waits until the agent is ready, types the text, presses Enter, and says whether the agent took it. It types nothing at a shell prompt when the agent has exited, and presses no Enter behind other text already in the agent's input. It reads the screen at the terminal's real size, so wide and narrow panes work too. Without submit, it writes exactly what it is given, as before.
Linux .deb: updates no longer freeze Termpolis
- Restart now closes Termpolis at once. Your desktop then asks for your administrator password once, installs the update, and Termpolis opens again by itself: on the new version, or on the one you had if nothing was installed.
- Quitting never installs an update and never asks for your password. Before, a plain quit could ask for it after the window had gone.
- The update banner says what happened when the update didn't go in: the password dialog was cancelled, Termpolis couldn't get administrator rights (it then gives you the sudo apt install command), or the dpkg error, with the full output in update-install.log in the data directory.
- Where there is no pkexec, Termpolis asks through sudo -A with its own password dialog. A Termpolis you open by hand while an update installs says so and closes again, so an update is never installed twice.
- The update from 1.53.0 to 1.53.1 still runs 1.53.0's installer, so it freezes one last time. Click Wait in the "not responding" dialog, and Termpolis restarts on 1.53.1. Cancelling the password dialog brings a second one; cancel both to stay on 1.53.0. Or quit Termpolis and run sudo apt install ./termpolis_1.53.1_amd64.deb.
Linked machines

Linked machines: fixes from a security review
- Plain ws:// relays are refused.
- Termpolis reaches a relay only over wss://. Plain ws:// works only for a relay on this computer (localhost or 127.0.0.1).
- A ws:// address an older version saved is kept but not used, so phones and linked computers stay offline until you change it. Settings ▸ Remote and ▸ Linked machines say so, and Settings ▸ Remote offers Use the default relay.
- Vendor tokens and private-key blocks are taken out of prompts and answers.
- Both computers screen what crosses. A token whose own shape names it (sk-ant-…, ghp_…, AKIA…, xox…) is replaced with [REDACTED:<rule>]. So is a private-key block written as lines or as \n escapes (as in a JSON file), once it holds key material.
- Anything else that looks like a credential is left in, and your agent is told which rules matched.
- The AI Security audit log counts both (Linked: removed / Linked: possible).
- Edit permission is never granted with a code.
- A new computer starts read-only. Edit goes on only from its row, after you confirm, with Allow edit. Edit that 1.50–1.52 granted with a code is dropped when you confirm that computer.
- Codex edit jobs now run with the network off in Codex's sandbox, so a job that needs the network fails. On Windows, treat a Codex edit job as full access, like Claude and Gemini.
- You see what other computers run here.
- Each job another computer starts here shows a notification (on by default, where the system can show them). It is also listed under Job history on this computer, which is kept across restarts.
- A running job can be stopped with Stop under Activity.
- The job's first line is shown with possible credentials masked.
- Delegated jobs stay out of memory. A job another computer ran here no longer becomes this computer's memory. What 1.50–1.52 already stored from such jobs is demoted once: still stored and still found, but ranked lower.
- Keys are never replaced behind your back.
- If the keychain can't open this computer's keys, Termpolis no longer makes new ones over them. Before 1.53 that lost every pairing.
- Instead, no phone or linked computer connects, and links can't be made or changed, until the keychain opens them again. Both panes say why.
- Start over… makes new keys and sets the old files aside, never deleting them. Every phone and linked computer then has to pair again; if only the links file is locked, only the links.
- On Linux without a keyring, both panes warn you. Encrypt keys now encrypts the keys once one is available after a restart.
- Safer pairing.
- The confirm card and the "No answer" message say that no words, or different words, on the other screen mean someone else used the code.
- The Remote and Linked machines handshake now uses a random counter and accepts at most one greeting a second. That closes a nonce reuse a hostile relay could have used to forge a greeting. Phone app 1.1.0 keeps working.
- Workflow Skill steps are rate-limited and audited.
- A Skill step's tool call counts against the MCP rate limits, in limits of its own so a looping workflow can't block your agents, and is written to the MCP audit log. linked_machines is the exception: agents and workflows share its 30 calls a minute.
- A Skill step whose tool answers with an error now fails (1.52 marked it succeeded), and a step's own Timeout (ms) is now enforced.
Memory
- The memory key is never overwritten or deleted.
- If this computer can't open it, memory comes up locked: nothing is lost and no new memory is saved.
- The Memory panel says why, and Memory & Learning says "Memory is locked" instead of calling your brain empty.
- An agent whose memory write is refused is told that memory is locked, why, and to open the Memory panel.
- Start a new memory key… sets the old key aside and starts a new one, so memory saves again.
- Older memories stay on disk but can't be read until the old key works again; Termpolis retries it at every launch.
- This needs a working OS keychain

Notes de la versió
Electron 43
Termpolis now runs on Electron 43, up from 30: a current Chromium, V8 and Node underneath everything. Thanks to @jbaarsch2 for the upgrade (#34).
- macOS 12 (Monterey) or later is now required. Electron 43 doesn't start on 10.15 or 11, so auto-update won't offer this version there. Those Macs stay on 1.51.5.
- Linux: on a Wayland desktop, Termpolis now runs as a native Wayland app instead of through XWayland.
- Dropping a file onto a terminal still types its path. Electron removed the API this used, and it now goes through webUtils.getPathForFile.
- The Commit Shield's repository picker and the memory sync-folder picker now open in your home folder. With no folder given, Electron 43 opens Downloads.
Fixes
- Quitting on Linux and macOS now waits, for at most two seconds, until every terminal's shell has exited. Two problems are fixed:
- A shell that exited at the wrong moment of shutdown could crash Termpolis on its way out.
- A shell that ignored the hangup could keep Termpolis from exiting at all.
- Settings ▸ Remote and ▸ Linked machines no longer say "connected to the relay" while the relay can't be reached. They now say "connecting to the relay…", say that nothing is paired or linked yet, or say "connected" once the relay has actually seated this computer.
- Background helpers (the memory store, the process host, the phone bridge, the compression proxy) can no longer start, or be left running, after Termpolis begins to quit.
- Every Windows build is now scanned before release. Microsoft Defender checks the signed installer, then the app is installed and run with real-time protection on. The release isn't published if Defender flags any of it.

sudo works again after updates on Linux
On Linux, sudo, su and pkexec could fail in every Termpolis terminal with "The 'no new privileges' flag is set". Updates installed from inside Termpolis caused it: the way the app reopened itself after an update made Linux mark it "no new privileges", and every terminal it opened inherited the mark.
Updates no longer do that. If Termpolis starts with the flag anyway, it tells you and offers to restart itself properly.
Updating from 1.50.0 or earlier (Linux .deb): if you've updated from inside Termpolis before, the window you have open probably has the flag, and a window with the flag can't install updates either, because installing needs the administrator password. So:
1. Quit Termpolis and open it again from your applications menu.
2. Install the update.
3. If Termpolis says sudo won't work in this window when it reopens, click Restart Termpolis once.
From then on, updates keep sudo working. The AppImage, macOS and Windows builds were never affected.
Agents can use sudo (Linux and macOS)
An agent runs its commands without a terminal, so plain sudo had nowhere to ask for your password. Termpolis now tells the agents it launches to use sudo -A, and asks for the password in a dialog that shows the whole command about to run.
- Type your password only for a command you expected: whatever you approve runs as administrator.
- A command too long to show in full is refused rather than shown in part.
- On Linux the dialog uses zenity, kdialog or ssh-askpass, whichever is installed. macOS uses the system dialog.
- A SUDO_ASKPASS you set yourself is left alone.
Memory: fewer junk lessons
Termpolis reads finished sessions for problems that got fixed, decisions and gotchas, and stores them as lessons. Its rules read many ordinary sentences as problems and decisions. In one real store, most recent lessons were like "Problem: …checking the email notification → Fix: I added the release notes", and they ranked first in recall.
- The rules are tighter: error codes must look like error codes, a fix must say something was fixed (not "not resolved", not a question), and a decision must have been made (not "decide whether…").
- Once, after the update, Termpolis demotes the lessons it stored by mistake. Nothing is deleted: a demoted lesson is still found when nothing better matches, and memory_correct can undo it.
- Agents are now told that a search hit from a past conversation is an excerpt they can read on from, and that memory records what was said on this computer, not what is true now.
The docs have a new section, What memory can and can't tell an agent.

Notes de la versió
Linked machines: your agents can work with your other computers
Pair two or more computers running Termpolis. An agent on one can then have a Claude, Codex or Gemini agent on another do a task in the background and send the answer back. It works in both directions, across any network.
For example, Claude on your laptop can ask Codex on your Linux box to implement something there and send back the commit and test results. Claude then reviews it, and nothing gets pasted into your terminal.
Set it up on each computer under Settings ▸ Linked machines:
1. Turn it on on both computers.
2. On one, choose Link a computer, then Create code, then Copy.
3. On the other, paste it under Enter a code.
4. Check that both screens show the same 8 safety words, name each computer, and click They match — link.
Use it. Just ask your agent, for example "have codex on linux do X in ~/repos/foo". It uses the new linked_machines tool. Long jobs return a job id, and the agent checks back for the result.
Stay in control
- Delegated agents are read-only unless the computer doing the work allows edits for that link.
- A delegated agent can't hand work on to a third computer.
- Answers from another computer are scanned and flagged before your agent sees them.
- Taking away a permission, or unlinking, stops that computer's running jobs.
- Traffic is end-to-end encrypted through the relay, which only ever carries sealed bytes.
- Both computers need Termpolis running. Up to 16 linked computers.
Also in this release
- termpolis exec --cwd now really runs the agent in that folder.
- Windows: a folder name can no longer break out of the headless-agent launch command.
- Windows: headless Claude no longer picks a stale npm copy over your installed Claude Code.
- macOS:
- closing the window keeps Termpolis (MCP, Remote, Linked machines) running in the Dock;
- ⌘Q quits on the first press;
- a computer running another computer's job won't idle-sleep in the middle of it.
- Remote: fixed a restart race that could leave two bridge processes fighting over the relay.

1.49.4 4 d’octubre del 2026 — 64 bits EXE (NSIS)
Notes de la versió
Windows: a pinned Termpolis gets its taskbar icon back
If Windows Defender quarantined v1.49.1 on your machine (that build shipped unsigned), it also removed Termpolis's shortcuts, including the one behind a pinned taskbar button. Windows kept the pin, so the taskbar showed a Termpolis button with no icon, and the Termpolis window, which groups under that pin, had no icon either. Reinstalling didn't help: the installer recreates the Start menu and desktop shortcuts, never the pinned one.
Termpolis now checks for this at startup. When Windows still lists Termpolis as pinned but the pinned shortcut is gone, Termpolis writes the shortcut back, and the icon returns straight away without restarting Explorer. It only puts back a pin that Windows still lists, and it never pins Termpolis by itself.
No other changes since v1.49.3.

Fixes
Termpolis Remote shows the terminal as soon as you open it. Opening a terminal on your phone used to leave it blank until you typed something. An agent sitting at its prompt prints nothing, and the phone was waiting for new output. Now it gets the current screen straight away. If you had opened that terminal earlier, it also no longer resumes from where it left off with a half-drawn screen. A terminal you reopen keeps about the last 32 KB of its history. No phone update is needed.
Uninstalling and disconnecting
- Uninstalling on Windows can no longer hang while it disconnects your agents. That step gives up after 30 seconds, and nothing it does can stop the uninstall.
- Removing the Linux package (sudo apt remove termpolis) now takes Termpolis back out of each user's Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI settings, as the Windows uninstaller does. Upgrading leaves them connected.
- Disconnect no longer stops partway when one step fails. It finishes the rest and lists the step that failed.
- If Termpolis can't save your answer about connecting your agents, it now tells you, and asks again instead of carrying on as if it had saved.
- Claude Code's start-up memory hook now does nothing once Termpolis is removed, so uninstalling without disconnecting first no longer leaves Claude Code running a hook that fails. On Windows without Git Bash, where Claude Code runs hooks in PowerShell, the hook now also works while Termpolis is installed. Existing hooks are upgraded once, at the next start.
Second Opinion stops everything it started. When a run times out, or you quit Termpolis, Second Opinion and termpolis exec now stop the agent and every process it started. On Windows, the agent used to keep running.
Update errors stay current. An old update error, such as the low-disk-space notice, no longer comes back when a later check fails because you're offline or GitHub is briefly unreachable. Settings no longer stays stuck on "Checking…" after a check like that.
Docs. The documentation now lists the Settings tabs by their real names. It also has the current tool counts, keyboard shortcuts and log locations, plus new sections on Second Opinion and on the permission flags each swarm agent starts with. The README now says memory encryption is on by default wherever your OS keychain is available, where it used to call encryption optional.

Notes de la versió
Termpolis now asks first
Your agents' configs. Termpolis connects to Claude Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI only with your consent.
- The first step of the first-run tour lists exactly what it writes, with a Connect agents toggle. Skip tour keeps what the step shows.
- Updating from an earlier version? A one-time dialog asks you. Your current setup keeps working until you answer.
- Settings ▸ Agent Integration has an on/off toggle and a Disconnect button that removes everything Termpolis wrote. Uninstalling on Windows does the same; on any platform, Termpolis --disconnect-agents does it from the command line.
- The mcp__termpolis__* wildcard permission is gone, from new and existing configs. An explicit list of read-only and memory tools replaces it; every other Termpolis tool asks first.
- Termpolis never trusts your home folder or a drive root on an agent's behalf, and leaves the Codex approval settings you chose alone.
- It no longer writes AGENTS.md into your repos, and the duplicate Claude Code plugin is removed.
- Folders an earlier version trusted stay trusted, because nothing recorded which ones Termpolis trusted. The exceptions are your home folder, the folders above it and drive roots: v1.49 withdraws trust from those.
Approval prompts are yours. Termpolis no longer answers permission prompts, MCP-server approvals, [Y/n] questions or numbered choices. It confirms an agent's folder-trust prompt only when your agents are connected and neither the folder nor its git root is your home folder or a drive root. On first-run screens it still presses Enter and takes the default: Claude Code's intro splash, its theme and login-method pickers, and Gemini CLI's terms and sign-in screens.
Telemetry is off unless you turn it on. Settings ▸ General ▸ Privacy has two separate switches: crash reports, and a daily anonymous ping that carries only the app version. Skipping the tour leaves both off. A yes given to an earlier version doesn't carry over: Termpolis sends nothing until you answer once more, and both switches start off. Crash minidumps are no longer uploaded.
The token-saving proxy has an off switch: Settings ▸ Token Savings ▸ Claude Code compression proxy. It stays on by default, steps aside by itself when you already route Anthropic traffic (ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL, an HTTP(S) proxy, Bedrock, Vertex or Foundry), and no longer rewrites tool inputs.
Second Opinion is read-only. It no longer runs the reviewing agent with --dangerously-skip-permissions.

Termpolis Remote: one phone, many desktops
Pair the phone app with up to 16 desktops — a Windows box, a Linux VM, a Mac — and switch between them from a list. Each one carries the name of the machine it runs on, so the rows are told apart by what they are rather than by position.
- Named pairings. The desktop sends its own hostname when you pair. Older desktops that don't send one still pair; the phone captions those itself.
- A key per desktop. Every pairing mints its own keypair, so each desktop knows the phone by a different device id. Unpairing on one says nothing about the others.
- One at a time on the wire. Switching desktops closes the previous connection and clears its terminals and grants — a command can only ever reach the machine on screen.
- Backwards compatible. A 1.39 desktop and a 1.40 phone still pair, in both directions.
Full mobile suite at 100% coverage; 10,239 tests on the desktop side.

🔎 Browse the code graph yourself
v1.20.0/v1.20.1 built the native code graph for your agents; v1.20.2 makes it visible to you, and easier to discover.
New: an in-app Code Graph browser
The Memory panel (Ctrl+Shift+M) now has a Code Graph section:
- Search any symbol (function, class, method, …) across the codebase.
- Explore it — its source, its callers and callees, and its blast radius (how many symbols a change could affect), in one click.
- Live stats (symbols · edges) and a Rebuild button that re-indexes the active repo on demand.
So the same structure your agents query via the code_* tools is now something you can look at directly.
Discoverability
The Auto-index everything setting now explains that it also builds the structural code graph the code_* tools use — and the termpolis.com docs gained a "Code graph (automatic)" section covering how it builds itself, how agents use it, and the supported languages.
Reminder: it's automatic
Nothing to turn on. Opening a terminal in a Git repo indexes it (once per session, plus a 15-min re-sweep); the graph builds alongside semantic memory and persists across launches. On by default, opt out in Settings.
Quality
The browser ships with component tests (search → explore, rebuild → git-root → re-index, empty state). Full suite green; lint + typecheck + build clean; coverage gate green.

🧭 Code graph: deeper, more languages, and actually used
A fast-follow to v1.20.0's native code graph — driven by dogfooding it on Termpolis's own source, which surfaced real issues the unit tests couldn't.
More languages (all native-free — regex rule sets, no new deps)
- Deep (symbols + methods + call edges): now C#, Ruby, and Swift join TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Go, Rust, and Java.
- Surface (symbol discovery for code_search/code_explore; IaC dependencies are dot-paths, not calls, so edges are intentionally thin): Terraform and Bicep.
Deeper — the three limitations, fixed
- Class methods are now indexed, not just top-level symbols. On this repo that took the graph from 1,972 to 2,163 symbols and grew call edges 63% — so code_explore now resolves a component's render(), and blast-radius reaches method callers.
- Typed-signature bug fixed (found by dogfooding): inline object types in TS parameter/return annotations were truncating functions to their signature line and losing every call below — recovered ~35% more edges on its own.
- Less edge noise: an interface/type name is no longer resolved as a call target (you can't call an interface), removing a class of false edges.
Agents actually reach for it
The code_* tools were already exposed over MCP, but MCP tools are offered, not forced. Termpolis now nudges the agents it launches — via the invisible context primer — to prefer the code graph for structural questions (who-calls, blast-radius, where-defined) over grepping. Combined with the automatic, per-session background indexing, the graph builds and gets used with no clicks.
Quality
Every language, the method extraction, the noise fix, and the primer nudge ship with tests, and the fixes were verified on real source, not just snippets. Full suite green; lint + typecheck + build clean; coverage gate green.

🧭 A native code graph — plus the memory brain's next rung
v1.20.0 gives agents a structural map of your codebase and closes out the memory-hardening roadmap's "next rung." Everything is native, local, and native-free (no tree-sitter, no external services), test-first.
New: a native code graph (CodeGraph-like, built in — no dependency)
Agents no longer have to grep the same files over and over to understand structure. Termpolis now indexes your repo into a symbol + call graph and exposes it over MCP:
- code_explore — ask one question ("how does X reach Y", or just a symbol name) and get the relevant symbol's source plus its direct callers and callees.
- code_callers / code_callees — who uses this / what does this depend on.
- code_impact — the transitive blast radius of a change, so you see everything a shared function edit could break before you touch it.
- code_search — locate any symbol by name across the whole codebase.
It's a heuristic multi-language extractor (TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Go, Rust, Java) over a pre-indexed, incrementally-updated local graph — built entirely in-house, secret-denylisted (never graphs .env/keys), and it (re)builds alongside the existing code index. Structural "what/where" now complements the memory brain's semantic "roughly where is X."
The memory brain's next rung
- Shard compaction — the append-only memory log no longer grows unbounded; a lossless, atomic, round-trip-proven compaction reclaims dead lines while preserving every live memory, deletion, and usage count (and it aborts rather than risk data it can't read).
- Honest embedder status — the status is now a truthful ready / unavailable / unprobed tri-state instead of implying "healthy" before the first embed, warmed by an off-thread probe that never stalls typing.
- Cross-agent conflict detection can now use a real NLI model (opt-in, off by default until it's benchmark-proven to beat the conservative heuristic) — catching contradictions like "use Postgres" vs "use MySQL" that have no negation word.
- Richer recall evaluation — order-sensitive nDCG and per-scenario slices, so future learning changes are judged on whether they actually help, not a single averaged number.
- Production burn-in log — a device-local, bounded record of anything the brain finds unusual (degraded init, corrupt shard lines, …), so real-world use leaves a reviewable trail.
Quality
Every piece ships with failing-test-first regression guards, including a strict lossless round-trip proof for compaction. Full suite green; lint + typecheck + build clean; coverage gate green across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

1.19.4 5 de juliol del 2026 — 64 bits EXE (NSIS)
Notes de la versió
🧠 Memory & Learning hardening — a brain you can trust
v1.19.4 is a deep reliability pass on Termpolis's persistent shared memory, driven by a 12-dimension adversarial audit of the memory + learning subsystem. 55 confirmed defects fixed, every one test-first (the 35 primary findings + the anchor bug, plus 19 verified from the audit's second-wave backlog) — the difference between "memory that mostly works" and "memory that never silently loses, corrupts, mis-ranks, or misreports what you told it."
Shared memory is the feature — it lets a new session (or a different agent) pick up without re-explaining context. That only holds if the brain is honest. This release makes it so.
The anchor fix
- Memories are stamped with real conversation time, not ingest time. Re-ingesting an old transcript no longer makes it rank as "most recent" — list and search now order by when the conversation actually happened.
It never silently loses data
- Writes that don't reach disk are reported as such (no more "success" on a swallowed IO error), and are retried rather than masked by the dedup guard.
- Init failure degrades to a local writable store instead of silently dropping every write for the whole session; a degraded status surfaces it.
- Crash-safe append log: high-value writes are fsync'd, a torn final line is repaired on launch (so it can't swallow the next good write), and corrupt lines are counted + surfaced instead of vanishing.
- Atomic whole-file rewrites (encryption toggle, sync-off snapshot, clear) — an interrupted rewrite can no longer truncate your shard.
- Oversized writes are flagged, not silently truncated; whitespace-significant content (Python, YAML, diffs) is no longer false-deduped.
It never silently corrupts across devices
- A bad clock or one corrupt line can't wipe the brain everywhere — the clear epoch is clamped and backed by a device-local durable floor.
- Deletes and clears survive losing the shard that carried them, are skew-proof (identity-based), and a deleted memory can't resurface through its content-hash twin.
- The encryption salt is never overwritten on a transient read hiccup (which used to lock you out of your own encrypted memory), and is write-once so two devices with the same passphrase derive the same key.
- A restored backup / cloned VM gets a fresh device identity, preserving the single-writer invariant the sync model relies on.
It never silently mis-ranks or misleads
- Superseded decisions stop resurfacing — memory_search and the session primer now honor the supersedes links the agent creates.
- The primer is honest about ordering and dates (relative-age markers; no false "most relevant first").
- Project scoping is precise — two repos named api no longer cross-contaminate; Gemini memories are finally project-scoped; curated writes are scoped to your working directory by default.
- The semantic embedder self-heals from a transient hiccup instead of latching into keyword-only mode for the session, validates its output dimension, and back-fills vectors captured during an outage.
- memory_anticipate / memory_pool draw from the real lesson set instead of a keyhole onto the newest rows, so the fleet stops re-deriving solutions it already found.
Learning stays sound
The offline recall benchmark (real bge model + IR metrics) holds with zero regression, and no learning mechanism ships on that isn't measurably net-positive.
Also in this release
- "🧠 Loaded N memories" launch banner for Codex/Gemini/Qwen.
- Memory-brain embedding runs off the PTY main thread (typing-lag fix).
Quality
Every fix ships with a failing-test-first regression guard. Full suite green; lint + build + typecheck clean; coverage gate green across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

🧠 Memory hardening — context you can see, trust, and keep
v1.16.7 is a reliability release for Termpolis's persistent shared memory. Five fixes so the brain stops losing context and stops surfacing stale or low-relevance hits — the difference between "memory that mostly works" and "memory you can rely on every session."
What's fixed
- Observable recall. Claude's memory priming is invisible by design (a system-prompt file + a SessionStart hook), so a working recall used to look identical to no recall at all. Now every primed launch shows a banner — 🧠 Loaded N memories for "<project>" on success, or a clear ⚠️ Memory recall unavailable if the brain couldn't be reached. You always know whether context loaded.
- No more live-session lag. A new fast indexer tier runs on a ~90-second cadence and ingests only the active session's freshest turns (freshness-filtered, capped), so your current conversation is searchable within seconds instead of waiting for the next 30-minute full pass.
- Staleness guard. Code-anchored memories (path:line) whose file no longer exists are now flagged ⚠ STALE — file removed, verify before use in the recall digest, instead of being handed back to the agent as fact.
- PATH-proof memory hook. The SessionStart hook now resolves an absolute Node path (scanning PATH plus standard install locations), so memory still loads under thin-PATH login shells — NVM setups, restricted shells, and similar — where a bare node wouldn't resolve.
- Adaptive relevance floor. The recall floor can no longer resurrect below-threshold noise: it only fills up to the number of hits that actually clear the relevance bar. Weak, off-topic results stay out of the digest entirely — the agent gets the relevant slice, never padding.
Quality
All five fixes ship with full test coverage — 4,201 tests passing, coverage gate green (lines 94% / branches 85.7% / functions 91% / statements 92%), lint + build + typecheck clean. Tests and Release CI both green across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
