Notes de la versió
[1.82.0] - 2026-09-09
SysManager can now follow your Windows light/dark setting instead of staying on whichever theme you last
picked. There is a new Auto button in the Appearance menu, and once it is on, the app changes with
Windows — including when Windows changes on its own. This was the odd gap: SysManager could already put
Windows itself on a dark-mode schedule, and then refused to follow it, so anyone using that schedule watched
the app fall out of step with their desktop every evening.
Added
- Appearance — an Auto mode that follows Windows. Sits between Light and Custom in the mode switcher.
It keeps your chosen colour family across the switch rather than resetting: on Warm Ember, going light
gives you Warm Sand, not the default theme. Picking any preset turns Auto off, so a deliberate choice is
never quietly overwritten.
- It keeps up while the app is open. The app listens for the Windows preference change and re-resolves,
so switching Windows to light — by hand, on a schedule, or by the Dark Mode tab in this very app — moves
SysManager with it. On start-up it reads the setting fresh rather than restoring the arm it happened to be
on when it last closed.
Fixed
- The preset list showed the wrong half in some cases. It was chosen from which mode button looked
pressed rather than from the theme actually in use, so it could list the light presets while the app was
dark. It now reads the live theme, which is also what makes the new Auto mode list the right presets.
Verify the download
Get-FileHash .\SysManager-v1.82.0.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Expected SHA256: BB32A29617959ABDAFFE392838D7AB6D887EAD643EDA0FFE18E1609DB04A4FE1
This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.82.0.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.82.0.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.https://github.com/laurentiu021/SystemManager/releases/tag/v1.82.0
