Notes de la versió

[1.123.3] - 2026-10-08
Nineteen places in the app now say what it actually does. Each described a feature, a button or a rule that the
code did not have, mostly because the code had changed since the words were written (#2611).
Fixed
- Network Repair no longer offers to "renew your address", which it has no repair for, and its banner says that
Winsock and TCP/IP need administrator rights and Flush DNS does not. It named the DNS flush as the one that needs them.
- DNS & Hosts names the Undo button rather than "Restore", and says that the hosts file is kept as it was before
SysManager first saved it, not backed up before every save.
- Battery Health's note says that the design capacity, full charge capacity and cycle count need administrator
rights too. It said everything else on the page works without them. Those three still read 0 when Windows refuses
them, which #2623 tracks.
- App Updates says that every app found starts ticked. It said nothing is updated until you tick it.
- System Fixes says that the two desktop fixes need no administrator rights, as its own desktop section already
did, and points at "Run as administrator", the button's real name. System Health pointed at a "Grant admin
privileges" button that does not exist; it now names "Run as administrator" too.
- Quick Cleanup no longer says that "the space Windows reported as reclaimable is now free" after a component
store cleanup. The check reports the size of the whole store, not an amount it can reclaim.
- Deep Cleanup's banner lists the old servicing logs among the items that need administrator rights, seven in
all, and says that without them some read as empty or as skipped. It said they were still scanned and counted, and
a folder Windows will not list cannot be. The safety note no longer claims that only NVIDIA, AMD and Microsoft
locations are scanned and that Program Files is never touched: it says that game launchers' caches and logs are
cleaned too, and that inside Program Files only those named folders are. The Steam bucket's description now
includes the Steam logs it deletes.
- File Lock Detector, as administrator, says it can end the programs that lock protected files. It said it could
close their handles, which it does not do.
- Boot Analyzer's empty list says "Windows has no boot performance records yet" as administrator, and that the
history could not be read after a read that failed. It said that boot history needs administrator rights even
when SysManager already had them.
- About: the privacy note names the two checks SysManager makes when it starts, and points at SECURITY.md for
every connection; it said that all operations are local and named only the update check. It no longer claims a
restore point before every system change. BUILD now shows the commit the exe was built from, the same one the
release page names. It showed the exe's file date, which is when the file reached your PC, not when it was built.
"Copy environment info" carries the commit too.
- Profile Export / Import says that an import keeps no copy of the settings it replaces. It said that importing
a different profile undoes it.
- Performance Mode says that Restore All does not cover hibernation. It said every change is reversible through
it.
- Process Manager, as administrator, says that the processes Windows needs to keep running, and SysManager
itself, still cannot be ended. It said any process could be.
- Duplicate Finder's "Open" button is "Show", as on Large Files: both show the file in Explorer.
- Dashboard: the Quick Tune-Up confirmation says that the temp files it deletes cannot be recovered either. It
named only the Recycle Bin.
- Command line: --help says that --silent prints nothing when a command succeeds and still prints an error.
It said it suppressed "non-essential output". The shorter success messages that were never printed are gone.
- The Services tab's advice that two services are safe to disable while its Disable refuses them is a code problem,
not a wording one, and stays with #1512.
Verify the download
Get-FileHash .\SysManager-v1.123.3.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Expected SHA256: 95D55E8FE51081C0B1C5BD46819AA2B106A78F9097AF1362A5430C6A5F8C5554
This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.123.3.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.123.3.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.
