Notes de la versió
[1.123.1] - 2026-10-08
Scheduled Maintenance no longer offers a standby memory purge, which failed on every scheduled run. The
Dashboard's health score is no longer green with less than 10 GB free on the Windows drive, and Performance Mode
keeps saying that a graphics change needs a reboot instead of dropping the notice at once.
Removed
- Scheduled Maintenance: "Purge standby memory" (#2593). A purge needs administrator rights and the scheduled
task runs without them, so every scheduled purge failed, and all the page showed was "Last run returned
0x00000001". Giving the task administrator rights is no answer: SysManager's exe sits in a folder your account can
write to, so anything running as you could replace it, and Windows would start the replacement with those rights.
Standby List Cleaner's "Automatically purge when available RAM is low" purges for you while SysManager runs as
administrator. Present since 1.50.0, when Scheduled Maintenance was added.
- A purge schedule saved before this keeps running, so the page now says that every run of it fails, that saving
a schedule replaces it with a temporary-file cleanup, and where to purge instead. Nothing is removed for you.
- --purge-standby stays on the command line, for scripts you run as administrator.
Fixed
- Scheduled Maintenance: a failed run is described in words (#2593). SysManager's own error codes read "Last run
returned 0x00000001" and "0x00000002"; they now read "Last run failed" and "Last run failed (command not
recognised)".
- Dashboard: the health score could be green with less than 10 GB free on the Windows drive (#2603). Free space
counts for a quarter of the score, and below 10 GB its part was held to 25 out of 100, so with everything else
perfect the total was 81, and green starts at 80: a 128 GB laptop drive with 9 GB free scored green. Below 10 GB
it is now held to 10, its lowest band, and the best total is 78. Present since 1.78.0, when free space joined the
score.
- Performance Mode: the reboot notice after an NVIDIA change disappeared at once (#2607). The read that shows the
new state began by clearing it, and ended on "Settings loaded." in place of "Reboot required". A read no longer
clears it, so the notice stays for as long as SysManager is open, and the outcome of the change is written after
the read. Any later Refresh or F5 cleared it too, and so did a Restore All that left the graphics setting alone,
although the PC had not restarted.
- Refresh, and F5, are off while a change or Restore All is running. Either could start a second read in the
middle of one, which ended the busy state early and replaced the change's message with "Settings loaded.".
- If the NVIDIA card can no longer be found when the change is applied, the page says that nothing was changed.
- Both have been there since Performance Mode was added in 0.12.0.
Verify the download
Get-FileHash .\SysManager-v1.123.1.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Expected SHA256: D4137B229760ED96C1A7249C0349063D786635FC3E5E4D7DCDD178CEA33B2E93
This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:
gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.123.1.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.123.1.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.https://github.com/laurentiu021/SystemManager/releases/tag/v1.123.1
