| 1.7.0Darrera versió | 24 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versióStream GUI RS 1.7.0
Changes since Stream GUI RS 1.6.0.
This feature release lets you bookmark Kick and YouTube channels locally and reach Bookmarks while signed out of Twitch.
Features
- Added local Kick and YouTube bookmarks (#90). Open channel has a bookmark toggle for Kick channel slugs and YouTube video IDs, @handles and UC… channel IDs. Bookmarks store the canonical locator only, never a URL.
- Saved Kick and YouTube rows have explicit Play, browser chat (where supported) and Remove actions. Playback starts only when you choose Play; no live status is looked up beforehand.
- Bookmarks is available while signed out of Twitch from the top bar or its keyboard shortcut. Twitch bookmarks remain visible with sign-in guidance.
- Hidden items remain Twitch-only, and the existing bookmark limits are unchanged.
Fixes
- Aligned the Open channel action buttons, including in longer translations (#90).
Upgrade and platform support
Settings move from schema 9 to schema 10 without changing existing values. Upgrade without signing out or clearing settings. Older versions reject the schema 10 settings file without overwriting it.
Streamlink 8.0+ and a separately installed player remain required. Package formats remain Windows x86_64 installer and portable/Scoop ZIP; Linux x86_64 AppImage, DEB and RPM; and a universal macOS DMG for Apple Silicon and Intel requiring macOS 11.0 or later. Verify downloads against the accompanying SHA-256 files. |
| 1.6.0 | 22 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versióStream GUI RS 1.6.0
Changes since Stream GUI RS 1.5.5.
This feature release adds best-effort YouTube live playback alongside Twitch and Kick, and refreshes the desktop runtime and locked dependencies.
Features
- Added YouTube live playback (#76). Open channel accepts an 11-character video ID, an @handle or a UC… channel ID; URLs are not accepted. Playback works while signed out of Twitch and uses no Google account, cookies or YouTube API.
- YouTube sessions reuse the global and player-profile settings and quality policies, appear in Watching with a service label and have independent Stop/Restart controls. Streamlink has no YouTube low-latency option, so Watching shows it as not available. Audio does not fall back to video.
- An explicit Open YouTube browser chat action opens the live chat popout in the browser for video IDs. Automatic chat and Chatterino are not used for YouTube.
- YouTube playback is best-effort: YouTube consent or bot checks can prevent Streamlink from starting a stream, and a failure does not mean the stream is offline. Live status and channel details are not checked before launch.
- The support report identifies YouTube sessions by service only.
Dependencies
- Updated Tauri to 2.12.5, tauri-build to 2.7.4 and the Tauri JavaScript API and CLI to 2.12.4 (#81, #87).
- Refreshed locked Rust dependencies, including Tokio 1.54.1, rustls-webpki 0.103.16, webpki-root-certs 1.0.10, libc 0.2.191 and the ICU 2.4 crates (#82, #83, #85, #89).
- Updated React to 19.3.1, Vite to 8.3.5, Vitest to 5.0.5 and jsdom to 30.1.3 (#77, #88, #80, #79).
- Updated the pinned Rust toolchain and Claude review workflow actions (#78, #84, #86).
