Another good release!
The old multi-tool has been replaced by a completely redesigned Page Editor. It now resupports images, renaming files, and a bunch of QOL UI changes making it much easier to rearrange and manage your documents. Please let us know what you think and if you have any issues with it!
Some big changes in how we handle password-protected PDF, They can now be opened for viewing and used with common tools without having to remove the password first, and your existing PDF permission settings are kept when unlocking.

Some big changes in this release yet again!
Group signing (Called Stirling Sign) is moving out of alpha and is now being enabled by default for new users, with it, you can share, track, and sign PDFs across your org. It also comes with a brand new sign UI, drastically improving the user experience of signing. Please let us know if you have any issues with it!
We are also shipping a new embedded conversion tool called "Stirling Office Convert" which we are trialing, It aims to give better conversion results faster and with less memory. This is a beta, so please compare and let us know! (Enable it by default under Advanced > Feature Flags)

Stirling PDF V3.0 is live!
With this update we are introducing a lot of exciting new changes, A brand new automation system, Free OAuth SSO for all, brand new text editor and a ton of new features, bug fixes and security fixes
We have a new system along side the "PDF Editor" called the "PDF Processor"
The PDF Processor takes the tools you already use in Stirling PDF and lets you run them across a large numbers of files with a variety of sources (Folders/FTP/S3 etc)
The idea is, If you need to OCR 10,000 files, Compress a whole folder or convert a whole document library this should be a tool which can help with that and allow it to listen and run for future files as they arrive
This is the first major release of Processor and we will be improving it quickly based on how people use it.

AI is also available as an optional part of Processor.
You can use AI to understand documents, classify them, extract information, and help automate processing. AI is fully optional (and off by default) and can use various models including locally/self-hosted models depending on your setup.
Automation now includes 1,000 PDFs per month free.
This allowance applies to automated processing through Processor, API, and AI features.
Linking your server to stirling.com gives you an additional 500 PDFs per month and access to our hosted AI (If you dont want to host your own).
Normal PDF Editor usage remains free and unlimited. In addition, we are also making OAuth SSO free for all users.
V3.0 also includes major improvements to the PDF Editor side of things:

We have added server-side file sharing and group signing (Both visual and certificate) So Stirling PDF can be used for group signatures! Both the file sharing and signatures is a Alpha feature, so please be careful in testing and report all bugs you can! These are all off by default.

We also added a ton of other features and bug fixes in this release such as
- Dark mode colour filters for your PDF in the viewer (visually (temporarily) changes the colour of the PDF so it can be read more easily)

- Non PDF files should now be supported in the viewer, (CSV, JSON, MD, PNG etc should all show in the viewer)

We have some brand new features and enhancements but we have a reworked our analytics!
Our opt-in (disabled by default) analytics are now all unified under the same parameter and has been made easier to disable in both settings.yml and consent banner. This latest release contains several improvements and new features most of which from @balazs-szucs, so a huge thanks goes out to them!
Main changes are:
- Crop to have option to correctly remove the text outside crop window
- CBZ to PDF and PDF to CBZ

This fix allows both flags to work without issue to avoid config compatibility issues with older versions

V1.0.0 Release is here!
This release is actually part of a stepping stone into V2.0.0 release coming in a few months with a branch new UI and feel!
This release includes lots of new features and changes the main changes of note are
- EML(email) to PDF Feature added
- Table of Contents editing feature added
- Fake Scan page feature added to convert a PDF to look like its been scanned (WIP, may be removed)
- OCR and Compression back to using OCRMyPDF and Ghostscript for advanced PDF operations
- Added tmp file manager to ensure all files are cleared even in event of crashes
- Add file attachments to PDF feature added
For pro users, we have some additional changes, suggest you backup your /configs folder before testing v1.0.0

As part of this release, there is also a slight license change. The core package remains MIT and fully open source, but we have created a 'proprietary' folder to store our 'Pro' features, such as audit/team functionality and account creation etc, which will be under a different license. This is only for our paid features and account creations.
If you are not using accounts, you remain fully open source, and we have ensured these can be fully decoupled for users who do wish only to use OSS. If you are using accounts, don't worry, no negative changes to functionality are introduced in this PR you can continue using as you would expect
There are also a lot of minor fixes and changes throughout the UI and backend in this release, including future support for async operations, progress updates and other features coming to V2! Stay tuned!

This update includes a huge security fix, recommended for all users, as part of this we are disabling URL-TO-PDF as default, to enable a user must specify it within settings.yml
