What's new
- Quicker screenshots: press Ctrl+A (⌘A on macOS) to select the current screen. Numbered annotations restart with each new screenshot.
- Fewer repeated prompts: remember your confirmation choice separately for closing or destroying pinned images and exiting screenshots with a shortcut.
- Easier recognition and annotation: drag the OCR original-image preview to inspect it and adjust smaller arrowheads. The first button in each tool group stays visible. Snow Shot also keeps translation mode when resizing a capture selection.
- More convenient recording: optionally exit the capture after a successful video export and show a completion notification. Click the notification to reveal the saved file.
- Smoother large-image work: faster image exports, scrolling capture, and menus, with less repeated processing and memory use.
- Everyday fixes: more reliable recording startup and capture fallbacks; click the active drawing tool again to return to selection. Fixed pinned-image toolbar state after printing, Windows ARM64 hangs, and some WebP image handling.
Install on macOS
Requires macOS 15 or later. Copy into Terminal and run as your usual user:

The script selects your Mac's architecture, verifies the download, and installs into Applications. Grant Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions when prompted. If GitHub is unavailable, download the same installer script from the Gitee release.
