Remio Host 3.0.1 - Connecting from your phone goes through again — when this PC had to reshape its screen to fit the phone, it could give up while still getting ready, and the phone said the computer was not responding. Remio also comes back online on its own when Windows misses the network returning, stays reachable on a PC whose clock is a few minutes off, and no longer crashes when a device connects just as sharing stops.

- Fixed: the Host could let your device connect, finish the handshake
and then never send a single frame, leaving you staring at a black
screen until your device gave up twelve seconds later. The Host now
makes sure it can actually produce a picture before it lets a
session start, and repairs itself if it cannot - so you either get
your screen or a quick, honest failure you can retry.
- Fixed: stopping a session, or quitting the Host while it was busy
recovering your picture, could shut the whole app down without
warning. Those moments are handled cleanly now, so the Host stays
running and reachable.

Remio Host 2.6.2 - your monitor keeps its resolution with
"Keep screen on".

- Fixed: connecting from a phone could needlessly switch this PC's
display to a lower resolution (for example 1600x900 dropping to
1280x720) even though the picture on the phone looked exactly the
same. The display now keeps its own resolution and the stream
simply scales to your device; it only changes when the connected
device's screen is a genuinely different shape and matching it
removes black bars.

Remio Host 2.5.0 - a PC reached over Remote Desktop no longer gets
stuck reporting itself at the sign-in screen, plus keyboard, file and
reconnect fixes.

- Fixed a PC wrongly stuck at "the sign-in screen": on a PC you also
reach over Remote Desktop, or a rented cloud PC, Remio Host could
decide nobody was signed in and stay convinced of it for the whole
session - and kept clipboard sync, file transfer and app launching
switched off the entire time. It now looks at the desktop it is
actually streaming.
- Fixed a held key being let go as you type: holding Shift while
selecting with the arrow keys no longer breaks halfway.
- Fixed "reveal in folder" doing nothing: the folder now opens with
the file selected.
- A brief network hiccup no longer interrupts the picture.
- Fixed keys and buttons staying stuck after another device takes over.
- Hardened file transfers: a file arriving from a paired device can no
longer be made to write outside the folder it belongs in.
- New setting: "Command key sends the Windows key" for anyone driving
this PC from a Mac-layout keyboard.

Remio Host 2.4.0 - sign in with email & password, plus fixes for a
crash when closing the app and a rare audio-device crash.

- Sign in with email & password: create a Remio account with just an
email address and password - no Google or Apple account needed.
Already signed in as a guest? Add an email and password to your
existing setup and every pairing carries over.
- Fixed a crash when closing the app: quitting or restarting Remio
Host could crash it at the very last moment - on some PCs on every
single exit. The app now always closes cleanly.
- Fixed a rare crash when your audio device changes: plugging in
headphones or switching speakers mid-session could, in unlucky
timing, bring down the host. Audio now hands over reliably.

Remio Host 2.2.3 - reliability release: the host now takes care of
itself when things go wrong, instead of waiting for you to restart it.

- The host can no longer get stuck "Ready" but unreachable - in rare
cases it ignored every connection attempt until a manual restart. It
now detects this state and recovers automatically within minutes.
- Fixed a frozen or near-frozen picture after the screen sat idle -
the stream could drop to a 1-second slideshow for the rest of the
session. The host now revives the stalled capture on its own.
- Fixed a crash during rapid reconnects on flaky networks.
- Fixed a crash triggered by screen readers and accessibility tools
scanning the Remio Host window.
- Fixed a crash when closing the app with the tray icon turned off.

until you restarted the Host. Reconnecting now brings the screen up

for days. Remio now keeps using your graphics card.
- Privacy Mode no longer hides the screen from you too — only the screen
