magpie: baixar versions anteriors

- Clipboard history kept the CPU busy (#22, #23). With the history on, magpie read the whole clipboard every second to see whether it had changed; with a picture on it, it decoded the picture each second. On Windows that was about 5% of one core with a 4K picture on the clipboard, and it showed up on a Mac as 0.3–5% while idle. magpie now asks the system whether the clipboard changed (Windows and macOS keep a counter) and reads it only then: the same test now costs well under 0.2% of a core. Linux has no such counter and reads every second, as before.
- When a copy put both text and a picture on the clipboard (a range of cells, say), the history recorded the two in turn every second. It now keeps the text, once.

- The tip sits right under the search box. It used to sit below the list, under the pinned folders and the cards, near the footer.
- From long ago is off by default. Turn the cards on in Settings → General → From long ago; a tip points there. If you turned it on or off before, your choice stays.

- The first tip went too soon (#13). The tips turned every 8 seconds even while the palette was hidden, so the first one after a summon could go within a second. They now stop while the palette is hidden, and each summon gives the first tip its full 8 seconds.
- After the palette was put away by a click outside it, a script's output was still there at the next summon. It now goes, as it does when the palette is put away any other way.

- Today's date sits inside the search box (#13). The line of its own took a whole row; now, with nothing typed, the date and weekday show on the right of the empty search box, with the Chinese calendar in a Chinese interface. Typing takes it away. It shows on every tab. The greeting for the hour is gone, as the box has no room for it. The switch is Settings → General → Date in the search box.
- The search box sits centred (#13). It had 6px more room below it than above; now the same on both sides.

- A line for today (#13). With nothing typed, the top line shows today's date and weekday; in a Chinese interface also the Chinese calendar, with its festivals and the solar term on the day it begins; late at night, in the morning and at lunchtime, a word for the hour. It is never selected, and has its own switch in Settings → General.
- Pinned folders (#13). Up to four folders you go to often, at the top of the local tab's empty box in the order you set (Settings → Local Files). Enter opens one. They need not be indexed.
- From long ago, by tab (#13). The Web tab shows the bookmark card, the Stars tab the repo card, the local tab both; each is the same all day.
- Workspaces by pinyin (#19). A workspace's name matches as an app's does: prefix, initials, pinyin. gzxc (or ws) lists them all. New tips point at the recall row, workspaces and script commands.

- Windows Store apps in the app list. Notepad, Calculator, Paint, Terminal, Settings and every other app installed from the Microsoft Store (or as an MSIX package) had no Start Menu shortcut, so magpie never listed them and notepad found nothing on Windows 11. They are listed now, with their icons, under the names Windows shows. Windows' own apps answer to their English and their Chinese name whatever the system language: notepad, 记事本 and jsb all find Notepad. A Store app has no folder to show and cannot run as administrator, so those two entries are not in its Ctrl+K menu.

- See what's in a ZIP. The preview of a ZIP now lists the files inside, with the one your search matched in view and marked. It says how many files the ZIP holds in all, and whether they need a password (the names still show; ZIP only locks the contents). Only the archive's own list of names is read, nothing is unpacked.

- Files inside a ZIP find the ZIP. A ZIP is now searchable by the names of the files it holds, and the result says which one matched. Password-protected ZIPs too (ZIP keeps names in the clear), and Chinese names from Windows' own "Send to compressed folder" read right. ZIPs indexed before are read again once by themselves. 7z and rar are still found by their own name only.
- Bookmarks and history say more (#13). The preview of a bookmark or a page from history now shows its site, the summary Firefox kept for it, where you bookmarked it and when, and how often you visited, from the earliest visit your browser still remembers to the latest. All of it comes from your browsers' own files; nothing is fetched.

- Add common places. Settings → Local Files → Add common places… lists where saved things usually land on this computer: Downloads, the desktop, the screenshots folder and, on Windows, the folders WeChat and QQ keep received files in. Each shows how many files it holds; only the ones you tick are added.
- New and changed files on the empty box. With Recent opens on the empty box on, the Local tab also lists files in your folders that are new or changed this week, opened through magpie or not. On Windows a file copied or unzipped in counts as new even though it keeps an old date.
- The preview waits for you to stop (#13). With the preview pane open, a local file loads its preview once the selection rests on it for 0.8 s, so arrowing down a list no longer decodes every image and PDF on the way. Meanwhile an image shows its thumbnail. Starred repos still show at once.
- The preview closes with the palette (#13). Put the palette away and the next summon starts without the pane.

- Command-line requests. Launching magpie again talks to the copy that is already running: magpie --toggle shows or hides the palette, --source clips opens on a tab (local, stars, web, clips), --query "text" fills the search box. Bind them to any key or use them in a script.
- The summon key on Wayland (#15). A Wayland desktop lets no app claim a key for itself, so the key used to do nothing there. On sway and Hyprland magpie now binds it through their IPC at start and floats its window, without touching your config. On niri, GNOME, KDE and others, Settings → Summon shortcut shows the command to bind (on niri, the lines for config.kdl).

- The AppImage opens its window on Arch and other recent distributions (#15). It carried a copy of libwayland-client from Ubuntu 22.04 that did not get along with a newer graphics stack, and the window never appeared (EGL_BAD_PARAMETER). It now uses the system's copy; the LD_PRELOAD workaround is no longer needed.
- macOS: the Accessibility prompt is no longer hidden under the palette (#17). Without the permission, the selection search used to call up macOS's prompt, which then opened underneath magpie. The palette now shows the hint itself, with a button that opens Privacy & Security → Accessibility. It stays until a selection search works or you close it.

- Searching the selected text copies the selection again (#17). The copy shortcut went out while Option+Shift of the hotkey were still held, so apps saw ⌥⇧⌘C (Ctrl+Alt+C on Windows) and copied nothing, and magpie opened with an empty box. It now waits for those keys to come up, then waits for the app to actually write the clipboard instead of a fixed 160 ms. Text that was already on the clipboard counts as copied too.
- The preview pane no longer jumps when it opens (#11). It used to show inside the narrow window first and then move right as the window widened. It now stays outside the window's edge until the window has grown, and closing works the other way round.

What's new
- The palette opens over full-screen apps on macOS — with another app in native full screen, Alt+Space used to do nothing visible until you left that Space. The palette now joins whatever Space you are in, a full-screen browser or terminal included. Under the hood: macOS never admits a window to a full-screen Space if it was created while the app was a regular (Dock) app, and Tauri built the palette before magpie switched to being a menu-bar app. The switch now happens before the window exists. As a result magpie is a menu-bar app on macOS: no Dock icon, no Cmd-Tab entry, like Spotlight.
- The box is empty after you use it — opening a result, copying a clip or a calculation, saving a note, a bang search or Ctrl+Enter now clear the query, so the next summon starts fresh. Esc still keeps what you typed.
