This is by far one of the biggest updates to Fishstrap we have done. Lots of features, lots of fixes, lots of... stuff.
Might forget to list some stuff in fact, so bear with me.
The most obvious change you'll notice is that we've changed icons! We won't go too into it, but I hope you guys like the new icons!
Integrations

Borderless Fullscreen (Vulkan)
Allows you to use a fake version of Borderless Fullscreen while using the Vulkan Graphics API. It's not really "borderless fullscreen", but as close as possible.

StatusDisplay for Discord RPC
Added StatusDisplay support for Discord RPC. This now allows you to show what Roblox game you're playing instead of just showing you're playing Roblox.

Appearance

Windows Terminal Bootstrapper
A bootstrapper theme inspired by the Windows Terminal. Prints lines to the console, just like a real terminal!

Window Manipulation
A really fun feature. Lets you modify attributes of the Roblox window, allowing you to set a custom icon and title.

Multi-Threaded Downloads
Fishstrap now has multi-threaded downloads, which should lead to way shorter download times.

Cleaner Tweaks
Multiple tweaks to the cleaner, now allowing you to specify which directories you want to clean, and more flexible time durations.

Custom Roblox Domain
Caution
BE CAREFUL AS TO WHAT DOMAIN YOU USE! This feature can cause unwanted side effects if a proper trusted domain isn't used.
Lets you set a custom domain. This domain will be the one Fishstrap/Roblox uses to communicate back and forth. Can help with bypassing geo-restrictions and might possibly also help with latency.

Search Bar
A handy search bar to help you find settings quickly. Currently, it's not fully fledged, but in coming updates, it should be able to find more settings more easily.

FIXES ISSUES REGARDING BETTERMATCHMAKING.

This is a somewhat minor update with a few experimental features. And a few bugfixes, of course.
Additions
Static Directory
Switch from the version-xxx to a BinaryType model instead. This means that instead of every version of Roblox having a separate version hash, it will instead be put in a static directory.
i.e. Instead of being something like "version-12345", it'll instead be listed as "WindowsPlayer". This should allow software to properly detect Roblox. (eg. AMD Adrenalin, NVIDIA Control Panel, etc.)
Roblox (~2025) Bootstrapper theme
A new bootstrapper theme! Based on the new look of the Roblox Installer.

BetterMatchmaking v1
BetterMatchmaking (Name still pending...) is an alternative to the normal matchmaking process done by Roblox. It was made to prioritize optimal matchmaking settings, and nothing else. In practice, this should mean lower latencies, and being put in servers in your region more often.
We use APIs provided by RoValra to figure out which servers to send you to. Please try out RoValra, It's great!
Note
We do not log your cookie, nor does it ever leave your PC. This is and will always be disabled by default.
Roblox Cookie Access
A feature that allows us to access your Roblox cookie. NO! WE ARE NOT LOGGING YOUR COOKIE! This just allows Fishstrap to access Roblox's APIs without any restrictions, which will prevent issues regarding connectivity to Roblox.

This version primarily addresses Roblox's removal of Fast Flags. Currently, Roblox has removed the ability to set any Fast Flag of your choice. Instead, you are only allowed to use certain Flags approved by Roblox themselves.

Global Settings Page
To lessen the impact of losing a significant number of settings, we have implemented a settings page for GlobalBasicsSettings, allowing you to edit a limited number of settings. These settings are currently allowed to be edited and will not result in a ban or suspension.
Custom Fishstrap Invites
Due to numerous requests (and my personal annoyance), we have implemented a custom deeplink feature, allowing you to invite people to your server with just one custom fishstrap.app link. There's no need to paste the deeplink into the run box anymore - now you can click a single link and join your friends.

Better Server Info
We have now switched to using an API for fetching server info. This should result in much more accurate server information than before.
Remote Configuration
This will allow us to update Fishstrap's settings without needing to make a new release every time, saving significant time and work.

Hello! I finally remembered my password and resumed development. I definitely didn't procrastinate for like two months...
We've finally updated to the latest version of Bloxstrap. We won't be discussing features that Bloxstrap implemented here; please refer to the Bloxstrap patch notes if you need that information.
Additions
Upgrades to Custom Integrations
We've introduced new upgrades to custom integrations! You can now specify if you want your integration to launch before Roblox starts. Normally, integrations launch after Roblox does, but with this option enabled, it will launch beforehand. You can also specify a delay for when Roblox launches.
Log Cleaner
Tired of Roblox/Fishstrap logs hogging up space? Now you can clear them without needing to do anything! You can specify how often logs are cleared and which files to clear. This feature is for that person who had over 10 gigabytes in Roblox logs and cache files (I don't know who, since bloodrvn accidentally deleted the suggestions channel like an idiot...).
Improvements to Custom Bootstrappers
Alongside the improvements and features added by Bloxstrap, we've also increased the maximum width of the bootstrapper window.
Tweaked Some Registry Keys
This shouldn't affect your install; it's just something we're preparing for.
Winget Support
You should now be able to install Fishstrap through Winget. Thank you, @UltimatePlayer97, for the PR!
Fixes
- Fixed the menu breaking when you changed the theme in the Appearance menu. (This one is my fault. Sorry!)
- Fixed the download status. It should now actually show the correct size of the package being downloaded.
- Fixed the 403 error when downloading from a channel.
