| 0.5.6 | 24 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Publisher pages can hold cards:tiles that link to another page or to a website, made with /Card or by right-clicking a link
• Cards can be renamed, shown as a Tile or Horizontal, and set side by side in columns
• Cards appear in shared links and HTML downloads
• In Publisher, click below the last block, press Enter on an empty last line, or press Ctrl+Alt+Up/Down to write outside a column
• The block right-click menu in Publisher is solid and easier to read in every theme
• A node name typed on the graph with a subtitle line is title cased on both lines
--- |
| 0.5.5 | 20 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• The Projects and Templates windows, and the tooltips on the Space, Publisher and Present buttons, now appear in all eight languages
• A bridge can point at a folder that isn't a project yet, and creating it makes that folder a new project
• Connector types have a Pull setting, from 1 (tightest) to 5 (loosest), in both connector editors
• Connector thickness runs from 1 to 5 in both connector editors
• Saving a connector type in the full editor keeps its pull and description
• Connector Properties opens at the line weight the type already has
• Export for AI writes the value of a Key property as (hidden)
• Search finds nodes whose type isn't one of the project's classifications
• A Mermaid import keeps the direction of each arrow
• A Mermaid import that stops part-way is undone in one step
--- |
| 0.5.4 | 19 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• The help is reorganised into seven areas, with every page under the one it belongs to
• Clicking a [[link]] in a note selects that node, and a page link in Publisher, a shared link or an HTML download opens that page
• The welcome tour opens on a first run, and again when the tour itself changes
• The spin preview is UFO Spin, in Space and in Publisher
• Pin position is kept when you reopen a project
• In Publisher, 1 runs Dark Energy and 5 runs Group
• Download HTML is in the Link menu while a document's link is live
• Link nodes have Open link, on their right-click menu and in the right panel
• The interface theme, font and node style now apply to every project
• With two or more nodes selected, Forces sliders arrange just those, and pinned nodes stay in place
• Opening an Obsidian vault as it is leaves every note unchanged
• Claude Desktop stays disconnected after Disconnect, and is only connected when it's installed
• Undoing a Filamental AI reply leaves alone anything you've changed since
• Adding a template uses a classification or connector type you already have instead of adding a second
• The Performance mode slider sets the frame rate it switches on at
• Settings › AI shows each app's settings path the way your computer writes it
• The shortcut list matches the keys:Ctrl+K searches, Tab moves between panels, Space pauses physics
• Export for AI writes every connection in the direction it points
• A Mermaid import keeps nodes whose names start with "end"
• A note whose front matter can't be read is left as it is on import
--- |
| 0.5.3 | 18 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• New Systems & Procedures template, under Operations:map your systems, the records each one holds, and the procedures, roles and controls that rely on them
• When an AI assistant builds a new structure, it can first ask what you want to see, and keeps to 3 to 5 connector types
• Folder and Document Exploration suggests 3 to 5 connector types
--- |
| 0.5.2 | 16 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Stars can sit on any background:an image, a video or a gradient, in Settings under Background
• Cards and Stars each keep their own background, so switching between them never loses one
• Stars open on Void, a near-black sky with faint stars, now first in the Background gallery
• The Background gallery says whether a pick is for Cards or Stars
• Shared links and HTML downloads carry a Stars background image
• Presenting a shared link or HTML download uses the app's keys:N for Flow, M for Breathe, comma and full stop for speed
• In a shared link or HTML download, the scroll wheel and a touchpad pinch zoom while presenting
• Size cards by connections is now Size nodes by connections, under Graph, Nodes, beside Title width
• Templates and node types use the spelling Program:Program Delivery, Grant Program and the Program node type
• Several help pages link to short how-to videos
--- |
| 0.5.1 | 13 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• The Present Studio opens straight into full screen. Esc or X takes you back to the studio you came from
• Every presentation opens with the whole structure fitted to the screen
• Nothing is lit when a presentation starts. Click a node to light it and its connections, or empty space to clear it
• While presenting, N turns Flow on or off, M Breathe, comma and full stop set the speed, and T shows or hides labels
• While presenting, the scroll wheel and a touchpad pinch zoom in and out
• A selected node stays selected when you switch studios
• Drag the dividers between Node pages, Connectors and Properties in the left panel to resize them. Double-click one to reset it
• Escape closes a route lit by Pathfinder
• Card width is now Title width, under Graph, Nodes, and sets where titles wrap on stars as well as cards
• Settings under Controls and the Ctrl+/ list show every shortcut in one set of sections, presentation keys included
• Headings in the Templates window take the theme's accent colour
• The Presenting and Shortcuts help pages cover the Present Studio and the new keys
--- |
| 0.5.0 | 12 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Stars:draw your nodes as points of light with their names beneath, in a dark world of their own. Switch between Cards and Stars at any time in Settings, under Graph
• Atmosphere puts a soft cloud of light around each star
• Connectors between stars can be straight, or curved in three styles:Sweep, Tension and Filament
• Connector labels between stars sit clear of node names
• Group, on the bottom toolbar or key 5, gathers each classification into a cluster of its own
• Present, a third studio on the top bar, shows your project to an audience. Press Y to open it
• While presenting, Flow sends light along curved connectors and Breathe lets each group drift gently out and back
• Shared links and HTML downloads show Stars, curved connectors, Flow and Breathe as you set them
• In a shared link, clicking empty space clears a highlight and shows the whole structure at full brightness
• Add your own video as a background, or search Pexels for one, in Settings under Background
• Background settings are laid out as Images, Adjust, Videos and Gradients, with your own backgrounds first in each
• Fifteen backgrounds are retired
• The app opens on the Precision theme and The Studio background, and Publisher pages are set in IBM Plex Sans unless you choose another font
• The Publisher opens with the graph and the page at equal width. Shared links open with the graph taking two thirds
• Page style is saved in the project, so it comes with the project to another computer
• PDFs and images keep their classification, properties and connections when a project opens on another computer
• Opening a folder as a project brings in notes whose front matter holds only tags, aliases or a title
• Setup for Codex, Gemini CLI and Zed, in Settings under AI, Other AI apps
• Live links are now called shared links, and a published link reads Published
• Pressed buttons and highlights across the app take the theme's accent colour
• Tooltips are shorter, and every one with a shortcut shows it in brackets
• The studio switcher on the top bar is no longer covered by the buttons beside it
• New help page:Cards and Stars
--- |
| 0.4.0 | 4 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• New / Open / Import is one window to start a project:blank, from a template, from a Mermaid diagram, from a folder you already have, or from an Obsidian vault
• Build a project from a folder of documents, or from one document, with your own AI connection. Markdown, text, Word and PDF files are read, and the originals are never changed
• Add a folder or a document to the project you have open, as a separate structure in a folder of its own
• An import that stops carries on from where it left off the next time the project opens
• Sub-folders can become classifications when you open a folder or import an Obsidian vault, PDFs and images included
• Classify notes by folder, in the + menu, does the same for a project you already have
• Pathfinder:select two nodes and press R to light the shortest route between them
• Export for AI saves a Markdown file of your project that opens with a summary of how it is structured
• The assistant connects to Ollama or LM Studio running on your own computer
• The assistant, in the app and over MCP, can find how any two nodes connect and give a short overview of a whole project
• A project inside another project appears there as a folder bridge
• Editing a note keeps the front matter other apps add to it, such as Obsidian tags and aliases
• Report a bug from the new button beside Filamental AI, at the top right. It opens an email to us

| 0.3.50 | 29 de setembre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Settings is reorganised into General, Appearance, Fonts, Graph, Background, Controls, AI, Account and About, opening on General
• Every setting has a plain name and a line describing what it does, in all eight languages
• Sliders in Settings show their value, and every on or off setting uses the same switch
• The shortcut reference is translated, in Settings and in its pop-out window
• Page style, on the Publisher's top bar, holds the font, text size, page width and palette in one window with a live preview
• Drag the Page style window aside and keep working on the page while your changes appear on it
• Text size is Small, Medium or Large, and headings, the page title and spacing grow and shrink with it
• Page width is Narrow, Standard or Wide
• The palette is set out as Backdrop, Title & subtitle and Paper around the page, then Headings and Body text on it
• Formatting selected text is done from the toolbar that appears over your selection
• Gradient headings now run across the words on shared and downloaded pages
• Share asks one thing first, a live link or an HTML file, then shows only the options for that choice
• Reduce file size, for an HTML file, leaves out the graph background and page covers and keeps every picture on your pages
• Windows across the app share one layout, with clearer names, spacing and buttons
• Arrow keys move the cursor in text fields inside windows
• New help pages:Working with Obsidian, and the Obsidian plugin
--- |
| 0.3.49 | 21 de setembre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• The welcome tour now covers both studios. It walks the space, opens the Publisher for the page toolbar, sharing and Present, then returns and finishes on Dark Energy
• Tour steps that ask you to press a control now let you press it
• Back in the tour now returns to the previous step you saw, in either studio
• Choosing the Publisher Studio during the tour no longer blocks the home page picker. The tour steps aside while you choose and returns to the same step
• The tour cards have room in them. Larger headings, larger writing and more space around both, so a step reads as something worth stopping on rather than a tooltip
--- |
| 0.3.48 | 16 de setembre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Highlight a classification or a connector type in the left panel, press Dark Energy, and that selection is laid out first, on its own, before anything else is placed around it. A process that runs in a line comes out in a line. Until now the button took in the whole structure at once, so a sequence buried in something larger was pulled about by everything hanging off it and arrived as a curve with its steps facing whichever way the rest of the graph pushed them. The steps that are separated by something else, an approval or a handover of a different classification, are still read as consecutive, and those nodes in between end up sitting along the run rather than flung out to the sides of it. Once the run is placed it is held still, and the rest of your structure arranges itself around it
• Highlighting dims everything else now instead of hiding it. Picking a classification used to make every connector that left it disappear, which took away the very thing you were looking at the structure to find:where those nodes sit in it. Nothing is removed any more, it recedes, so the shape around your selection stays legible while the selection stands out of it
• Highlighting a connector type keeps the nodes at both ends of it lit, so you can see what it joins rather than a line floating between two things you cannot read. Picking a classification lights those nodes and steps every connector back, including the ones running between them, because that view is asking where they are and not how they interconnect
• Node cards, the small distant markers, the connectors and their arrowheads all dim by the same amount and at the same moment. They did not before:card backgrounds stayed solid while their writing faded, distant markers ignored the highlight entirely, and arrowheads stayed at full strength until you nudged the canvas
--- |
| 0.3.47 | 15 de setembre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Branches leaving a node sort themselves by classification. All the orange on one side of it, all the green on another, so the colour of a node tells you where to look before you have read a single label. The fan was the right shape before this and the order inside it meant nothing, which put two nodes of the same kind on opposite sides of the thing they both hang off as often as not. Nothing moves closer to or further from the node it connects to, so the structure you built keeps the shape you gave it:this only decides which side of it a branch sits on. Branch Grouping, in Physics, takes it from off to firmly sorted
• Layered structures sit closer together and use the full width of each layer. The planes were spaced so far apart you had to fly the camera out to see two at once, a sparse layer huddled on the centreline under a busy one, and edges ran from the far right of one layer to the far left of the next because the ordering compared raw positions between layers of completely different sizes. Re-laying out a structure also does something now:the button had incremented a number that never reached the part of the layout it was supposed to change, so pressing it again moved nodes by a couple of pixels. It tries six arrangements and keeps whichever crosses the fewest edges
• Present and Download HTML are Pro. Building a structure, writing documents, making them beautiful and publishing one live share link all stay free, and always will. What Pro buys is showing and sending:a second live link at once, pushing an update to a link you have already sent, the standalone HTML file, and full-screen presentation. Download HTML was free until this version and the pricing page said so, so this one is a genuine takeaway and worth saying plainly rather than burying
--- |
| 0.3.46 | 13 de setembre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Properties work, and they are worth using. You define them once for the whole structure, in the sidebar beside your note types and connector types, and every one you define then appears on every node waiting to be filled in. They were meant to come from a node's classification before this, and that half had never once had anything in it:every template shipped empty, so nothing was ever derived from anything. The half that did work dropped any property you added before you typed a value into it, and showed you the previous node's value when you clicked a second node that shared a field, then wrote that value back over the top when you clicked away
• Twelve kinds, in words you can read. Text, Number, Yes / No, Date, Choice, Tags, Link, Email, Phone, ratings out of three or five, and Key. The old pair were called "string" and "date", and one of those is not a word. Choice and Tags take their values from a list you curate, or that you extend by typing a new one straight into the node you are filling in, and every kind tells you what it is for at the moment you pick it
• Key is for the values you copy rather than read:an API key, a wallet address, an account number. It is hidden until you reveal it, one click copies it, and it is left out of search so a fragment of it cannot bring the node up. It is marked with an eye and a line through it rather than a padlock, because hiding is all it does. Nothing in your files is encrypted, and an icon that suggested otherwise would be the kind of reassurance that gets a live key put somewhere it should not be
• Ratings are written into the file as "4/5" rather than "4", so the number still means something to anyone reading the file later, yourself included
• Your existing structures are untouched. Every value is still plain text in the node's own frontmatter, exactly where it was, so anything you have already written stays put and still reads the same by hand
--- |
| 0.3.45 | 11 de setembre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Present, next to Share in the Publishing Studio top bar, fills the screen with your structure and turns it slowly, with no panels, no toolbars and nothing that answers to a mouse. It is for the ten minutes before a meeting starts, with the structure up on the big screen while people take their seats, and it does the same work at an exhibition stand or on a lecture theatre wall. A row of controls along the bottom sets the speed of the turn and how close the camera sits, shows or hides the colour key, and gets you out again. The slowest speed holds the structure still, which is the one you want when somebody asks about a node. The controls and the pointer fade away after a few seconds of stillness, so a screen nobody is touching shows your work and nothing else, and Escape leaves
• Whatever the canvas was showing when you press it is what the room sees, at the same size, so you frame it yourself beforehand rather than being handed a view somebody else chose. The zoom steps are reversible, so the same number of presses each way lands back on exactly the framing you set up
• Every link you publish and every file you export from this version onwards carries the same button, in the top right of its graph, so whoever you sent it to can put it on a screen in their own meeting, without you there and without installing anything
--- |
| 0.3.43 | 9 de setembre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió- Publisher Studio is free. Building a document used to sit behind the paywall, which put the gate in front of the wrong act: you could not make anything until you had paid for the thing you had not made yet. Everybody can write documents now, and publish one live share link. Pro is more than one link at a time, and pushing a new version to a link you have already sent
- There is a monthly plan again, at $12 a month. Annual stays at $120 a year
- The prices shown inside the app were wrong, in all eight languages. The upgrade buttons read "$80/yr" and "$8/mo" while the checkout charged $120 and $20, and the Portuguese copy quoted the annual price in reais. Every price in the app now matches what you are actually charged
- Updating a link in place is a Pro feature. On the free plan you remove the link and share again, which gives you a new address. Anything already out there keeps working until you revoke it
- Three restrictions on the free plan that nobody had decided on. Adding a folder somebody sent you to your shortcuts asked for an upgrade, although shortcuts have been unlimited on the free plan since August. The Help Playground was capped at twenty nodes, two above the number it already ships with, so the space built for exploring ran out almost immediately. And a shortcut pointing at a folder that has moved showed no warning unless you had paid, which hides a fault rather than selling anything
- Setting up the MCP server in VS Code and Copilot. They read the same server as every other client but want a different shape, and pasting the Claude version into VS Code does nothing and tells you nothing. Both have their own snippet now, along with a portable version you can commit to a repository and hand to somebody else. The client list gains VS Code and LM Studio
- Ctrl+S, Ctrl+Shift+S, Ctrl+B and Ctrl+F have gone from the shortcut list. All four had stopped doing anything: the first two saved a panel that no longer exists, Ctrl+B wrote bookmarks nothing could reach, and Ctrl+F named a search box in an editor we have since replaced
--- |
| 0.3.42 | 3 de setembre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió- Dark Energy no longer squeezes the rest of a space to make room for its busiest node. Connector length was worked out against the average across everything on screen, so one heavily connected node made every other connector in that space shorter. On a space with two separate centres the quieter one came out with its cards touching, looking like the older half had stopped responding to the arranger. How long a connector is now depends only on the node it leaves, and nothing else in the space has a say
- Hub Reach works across its whole range. Below about halfway it used to do nothing at all
- Branch Weight no longer changes the size of a structure, only where the length goes. Connector Length is the one control that sets overall size
--- |
| 0.3.41 | 3 de setembre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió- Six more AI providers: Groq, OpenRouter, Together AI, Fireworks AI, SiliconFlow and Cohere. A Groq key used to be offered to every provider we could think of and match none of them, because Groq had never actually been wired in
- Z.AI keys connect now. We were sending them to an address that does not exist, and because that address answered instead of refusing, a perfectly good key came back looking like a broken one. Every other provider has been checked the same way
- A node you have just made is part of the next Dark Energy. New nodes are held still for a moment so the physics cannot throw them off the spot you clicked, and that hold was never being let go, so the node sat out every arrangement after it
- A link to something that is not in your space quietly stops being a link. The brackets come off, the words stay, and nothing is reported. It used to raise a warning offering two repairs that no longer did anything
- The Forces hints are readable in the light themes. The bubble brought its own dark background whatever theme you were in, and the panel clipped its top edge
- Right-clicking a project on the bottom row of the Projects window no longer opens a menu underneath the taskbar. The collection you wanted was the one item you could not reach
--- |
| 0.3.40 | 1 de setembre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Headings and lists in the Publisher now space evenly whatever order you put them in. A heading directly under another heading, and a list directly under a heading, both came out too tight, and a subheading under a section title lost about a third of its gap. The same two blocks could look different depending on what happened to sit above them
• Heading 4, 5 and 6 are in the format menu. They were always reachable from the keyboard and from any markdown you imported, but the menu stopped at 3, so putting the cursor in one showed "Paragraph" and there was no way to see the real level or set it back
• Heading 4 is clearly smaller than Heading 3 now. The two were within a pixel of each other, so the ladder read as five levels rather than six
• A published page spaces and sizes text the way the Publisher does. The two had never matched, so what you laid out was never quite what a reader got
• Heading 4, 5 and 6 were published as Heading 3. Anything you built deeper than three levels reached a reader flatter than you wrote it
--- |
| 0.3.37 | 27 d’agost del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Every Upgrade button now opens the pricing page. All of them pointed at an address that has never existed, so anyone who clicked one got a "page not found" and the only way through to a checkout was Settings, then Account. That includes the Upgrade button in the toolbar, the one on the Publisher, the one in the feature notice and the one on the read-only banner
--- |
| 0.3.36 | 26 d’agost del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Filamental has a new look. The mark, the wordmark and the colours are the same ones the website uses, so the app and the site finally agree on what the product looks like
• The wordmark in the toolbar now reads filamental over .space on two lines, so a screenshot you share carries the web address with it
• A new interface theme, Precision. Light cool grey, square corners, no shadows, and red used sparingly and only where something needs pointing at
• The brand is drawn rather than typeset now, so it stays sharp at any size and does not wait on a font to load. On the darker themes it switches to a lighter ink and a lighter red so it stays readable
• New app icon, on all platforms. The old one was still the previous identity
• Settings:"Node Font" is now "Graph Font", because it sets the connector labels as well as the node cards. "Node cards" and "Connector labels" now say "width", which is what they actually change, and "Inherit" is now "Match UI"
• Settings:the font picker shows each font's name at a readable size and drops the "Aa" underneath it. Every name is already written in its own font, so the sample was saying the same thing twice
• Gruppo no longer looks greyed out in the font pickers. It was being asked for a weight it does not have, so it fell back to its lightest one and looked switched off next to the others. Cardo had the same problem
• The buttons along the bottom of the graph sit properly now. The insert and connector group is centred on the screen rather than wherever the groups either side happened to leave it, and the export buttons have moved to the right
• The Filamental mark on the graph no longer sits behind the buttons in the bottom right corner
• The first card of the welcome tour is centred again. It had been sitting low and to the right
--- |
| 0.3.35 | 24 d’agost del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• The interface font is now IBM Plex Sans, the same face the website uses. The other nine are still there in Settings
• The notes panel in the Space Studio follows your interface font. It had been pinned to one fixed face whatever you picked, because the editor it is built on sets a font of its own and nothing was overriding it
• Changing UI theme no longer resets your interface font. Switching theme quietly put the font back to the default and left it there until you picked a font again or restarted the app
• Node labels on the canvas were reset by that same thing, and are fixed along with it
• The pop-out note, controls and Filamental AI windows open in your chosen font instead of the default. They had never read the setting at all
• Every font offered for node labels is now offered for the interface too. The two pickers had drifted apart, so Gruppo, Grotesk, Syne and Cardo could be used on the graph but not on the interface
--- |
| 0.3.34 | 21 d’agost del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió• Publisher:paste a YouTube, Vimeo or Loom link onto an empty line and it becomes a player. Drag its edge to resize it, centre it, or drop it into a column like any other block
• Publisher:a linked video survives an export or a shared link, because the player is fetched rather than carried in the file. A video file still cannot travel that way, and now says so properly when you export or share
• Publisher:a link pasted into the middle of a sentence reads as the title of the page it points at, rather than as a long address that tells the reader nothing
• Help has its own entry at the foot of the Projects sidebar, next to a link to the tutorial videos on our YouTube channel. It used to sit under the project grid, below whatever you were actually working on, where it was easy never to notice
• Project card captions are readable. They were tinted so faintly that they measured under 3:1 against the card in every theme
• Help:a new "Inserting Media" page covering the four ways to get a picture or a video onto a page, and which of them survive being handed to somebody else
--- |
| 0.3.33 | 15 d’agost del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (NSIS) Notes de la versió"Frameworks" are now "Templates". The same ready made structures, under a name that explains itself the first time you meet it
Attaching several files at once now keeps all of them. Only one was being registered, so the rest quietly disappeared from the panel
Attachment filenames follow your theme's colours instead of a fixed blue, and files you have already attached sit above the drop zone rather than below it
Publisher: a link at the foot of a page now carries its connector's label in front of the page name, so it reads "gated by Change of Control Clause" instead of just the title. Shared and exported pages carry the labels too, so re-share anything you want them on
Publisher: the footer and the cover image buttons now take the page's Title colour, so they stay readable against a dark canvas or a photograph. Borders and hover states down there had assumed a pale background and were invisible on anything else
