- Enpass Lite is now Enpass Free
The Enpass Lite plan is now named Enpass Free.
- Free plan limits for new users
New Enpass Free users on desktop platforms have a limit of 25 active items and one vault, making the free plan uniform across all platforms. The first 25 items added or imported by new users will be active. All additional items will be visible and readable, but are labeled “Restricted” and cannot be edited, copied, or used for autofill.
- Control autofill when Enpass is locked
You can now choose what information the Enpass browser extension is allowed to display in the autofill dropdown when the Enpass app itself is locked. Go to Enpass > Settings > Browser to enable this feature.
- [Business] Recovery for keyfiles
Account Recovery is now available for Enpass Business users whose Enpass apps are secured with a keyfile, as well as those secured with only a Master Password.

Vault sharing now supports Google Shared Drives with more than 100 members
The "Manage Access" screen for a vault in the Share Center now displays the complete list of members for any Google Workspace Shared Drive, regardless of the group size. Previously, the list was limited to the first 100 members, which prevented administrators from granting vault access to everyone in larger organizations.

This version also includes other minor bug fixes and improvements.

This update introduces a re-engineered Security Score to prioritize critical risks; it also optimizes Wi-Fi Sync connectivity and ensures a better experience when managing notes and icons.
Improvements
A More Meaningful Security Score
You can now see a more accurate representation of your vault's health through an enhanced scoring engine. This means the dashboard now prioritizes critical issues, like compromised passwords, and rewards the use of phishing-resistant factors like Passkeys.
Optimized Wi-Fi Sync discovery
The Wi-Fi Sync server now prioritizes active Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections while filtering out virtual network addresses from software like VirtualBox. This ensures your devices find and connect to each other reliably during synchronization.

Bug Fixes
Unlimited Note length
The Notes field now supports more than 20,000 characters without truncating your data. Previously, saving an item with a very long note would silently remove content exceeding the character limit.
Consistent Note appearance
The Notes field now uses a consistent background color (hex code #FFF8B9) across both light and dark themes. This replaces the bright yellow background that previously appeared in dark mode, ensuring the interface remains easy on the eyes.
Stable Note scrolling
The Notes section now maintains its scroll position when a background sync occurs. Previously, the view would automatically jump to the bottom of the note whenever the app synchronized.
Improved custom icon quality
Custom icons now render clearly in the interface. Previously, some user-uploaded icons appeared pixelated even when provided at the correct 200x200 pixel resolution.
Windows Server 2016 compatibility
Enpass now launches correctly on Windows Server 2016 systems. Previously, a compatibility issue related to font rendering prevented the app from opening on this specific operating system version.

For Business Users
Vault connection clarity
The vault settings page now displays the specific service name and icon for SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Google Shared Drives. Previously, these business-specific vaults were labeled generically, making it difficult to distinguish between different storage locations.
Refined Google Workspace permissions
The Manage Access page for Google Workspace vaults now only displays members of the Shared Drive who also have explicit access to the vault folder. Previously, it could show users who had folder-level access but were not members of the shared drive.
This version also includes other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Autofill while locked The desktop app now serves cached autofill items metadata to the browser extension even when locked and requires to unlock Enpass when an item is selected for filling. Requires Enpass browser Extension v6.11.14
Added support for Conditional Passkey Sign-in and Enrollment The desktop app now supports the underlying passkey handling required for conditional passkey sign-in and password-to-passkey enrollment flows initiated from the browser extension.
Passkey Management Links Enpass now reads website-provided well-known passkey URLs to surface the right actions at the right time. When a site declares where users can enroll or manage their passkeys, Enpass shows the appropriate buttons directly in the app.
Improved SharePoint vault sharing by increasing the supported member limit for shared SharePoint sites from 1,000 to 5,000 users, enabling vault sharing with larger groups.

This release brings smoother navigation, and several reliability, display, and localization fixes.
- Activation works reliably after reconnecting to the internet
The activation process now recovers smoothly when your internet connection is restored after an initial network error. Previously, an SSL error could persist even after connectivity was back, requiring a restart. You can now simply retry and continue without restarting Enpass.
- Notes field now stays expanded reliably
The Notes field now stays expanded as expected. Once you expand the Notes field for any item, it remains expanded across all items until you manually collapse it or restart the app. Previously, the Notes field could collapse unexpectedly.
- Notes text is now readable in Dark theme
Text entered in the Notes field now displays in the correct color when using the Dark theme. Previously, the text could appear in black on a dark background, making it hard to read.
- Security score now displays correctly on launch
The security score on the Home dashboard now shows the correct value as soon as the app launches. Previously, it could display an incorrect score until you navigated away and returned.
- Item editing options are now translated
The item editing options (such as Attachment, Section, and Add Field) now display in your chosen language. Previously, these options appeared in English even when using a different language like Portuguese.
- Keyboard shortcut now copies the right password
The keyboard shortcut for copying passwords in the Enpass Assistant now correctly copies the password of the item shown in search results. Previously, it could copy the password of a previously selected item instead.
- Importing from Sticky Password now preserves special characters correctly
Importing data from Sticky Password now correctly handles umlauts and other non-ASCII characters (such as ä, ö, ü, ß, and é). Previously, these characters could appear garbled after import. Your imported data now displays exactly as it should.
- Copy passwords directly from Enpass Assistant
You can now copy a password directly from the Enpass Assistant's password generator. This option was removed in a previous update, is now restored.

- Quickly access your vault storage location
Business users can now open the storage location of their shared vaults directly from the Sharing Center, available for OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint Sites vaults..

What's new
This release improves credential handling in the browser extension, expands passkey compatibility across more websites and includes several fixes.
- Improved autosave behavior When saving or updating logins tied to your registered business account, items are now more reliably saved to the Business Primary Vault, improving vault selection accuracy during autosave.
- Improved handling of password change on websites Enpass will now identify the correct login item even when the username is not available, making password updates more reliable.
- Expanded passkey compatibility Added support for passkey authentication in iframes. Introduced support for passkey signals provided by relying parties, enabling automatic update of metadata and cleanup when you delete or update a passkey from the account page on a website.
- Resolved an issue with Windows Hello Fixed an issue where users had to manually click the Windows Hello prompt to unlock the app in certain scenarios.

- Sign in with passkeys across related domains Services that run across multiple domains — like regional sites — now work with a passkey created on the main domain. Fewer unexpected sign-in failures, more places your passkeys just work.

Stronger PIN Requirements
Your admin may now define stricter rules for PIN creation, reducing the risk of weak or guessable PINS. Update includes:
- New PIN complexity requirements – Your admin can enforce PINs that include uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols for higher security.
- Prevention of weak PINs – Your admin can now restrict the use of repetitive, sequential, or easily guessable PINs (like 1111, 1234, 2580) ensuring stronger protection.
Bug Fixes for Business Users
- Fixed issues where passwords outside the defined rule set were incorrectly flagged as violations.
- Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

New Features for Enpass Business Users:
The Enpass app now supports a wider range of your organization’s password policies and includes new features to strengthen your overall security. If your admin enables them, the app will guide you to follow these policies and ensures your passwords stay protected.
Here’s what’s new:
- Stronger Password Checks: Your company may now require passwords to meet certain rules like minimum length, complexity, or expiration. If a password doesn’t meet those rules, you’ll see it flagged as a “Rule Violating Password”.
- Stronger PIN Requirements: Your admin may require a longer minimum PIN to improve the security of your Enpass unlock method.
- Prompt to Change Master Password if Found Compromised: If your admin enables this, Enpass will check your master password against the database of compromised passwords from HaveIBeenPwned.com. If it is found as compromised, you’ll be asked to change it.
- No Autofill on Unsecure (HTTP) Websites: Autofill is not allowed on unsecure websites that use HTTP instead of HTTPS. Your admin may allow exceptions where needed.
- Passkey Sign-in Policy: Your company may allow or restrict the use of passkeys in Enpass. If restricted, you won’t be able to store or sign-in using passkeys.
- Windows Hello Unlock Policy: Your admin may choose to enable or disable Enpass app unlock using Windows Hello.

This update includes minor bug fixes, crash resolutions and improvements to enhance the overall user experience.
For Enpass Business Users
- New: When a connection to business cloud storage fails, diagnostic details now appear, with an option to share logs to assist in troubleshooting.
- Fixed: Resolved an issue where admins couldn’t approve password recovery requests for OneDrive Business users after their email ID had been changed.

We’re back with a fresh update! This release brings new enhancements to improve troubleshooting, expanded autofill capabilities, and important fixes to boost your overall Enpass experience.

- The Enpass extension can now autofill standalone TOTP (one-time code) fields on supported websites.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where connecting multiple vaults to different Nextcloud accounts with the same username resulted in an ‘Authentication error’.
- Fixed an issue where syncing or restoring a vault from iCloud did not redirect back to the app when Chrome was set as the default browser.
- Fixed an issue where the Windows Hello option was getting disabled after locking and unlocking the app from the Settings page immediately after enabling Windows Hello.

- You can now create a secondary vault directly at the root of a SharePoint or shared drive without needing to create a folder beforehand.

- Resolved an issue where some users were encountering error code 315993 during iCloud syncing.

Hi Enpass fans!
To help your transition to a passwordless future, Enpass now makes it easy to find accounts in your vaults that offer passkey security!
What’s New:
- A new "Passkeys" section has been added in the "Others" section of the sidebar, showing all your Items with passkeys.
- A new "Passkey Supported" section has been added in the "Audit" section of the sidebar, showing all your accounts where you could add passkey security.
- For accounts that offer passkey security, the Item Details screen will now display a "Passkey Available" banner if no passkey is found for the account.
- Former Dashlane users can now import data via CSV (as well as JSON).
Fixes
- Resolved "SSL certification failed" error when trying to complete registration from the Enpass Welcome screen.
- Resolved a problem with Enpass not remembering the keyfile location when the app has been forced to quit.
- When adding an email address to an Item, suggestions list will no longer include addresses from Items in your trash.
- Passkey login is now working at vercel.com.
- When moving an Item between vaults, if that Item belongs to a custom category, that category will now migrate with the Item.
- No more problems displaying the '&' character in tags.
- Resolved bug related to using Print dialog to save an Item as a PDF.

- A few of you reported Enpass crashing when trying to launch the app from the System Tray icon. This issue has been resolved.
- The recently introduced shortcut using the ALT key to unmask an Item’s password has been rolled back. It was unmasking passwords even when using other ALT-key shortcuts, like ALT + TAB.
