| 1.1.6-beta4Darrera versió | 4 d’octubre del 2026 | — | Qualsevol processador ZIP Notes de la versióThis is the fourth beta of version 1.1.6 and the first Windows release since the second beta; no Windows build of the third beta was published. It adds editing of filters directly upon the response graph, a spectrum analyser, a tube modeller, a subharmonic synthesizer and a limiter on every output, and it carries the matching DSPi firmware so that a device may be updated from within the application. Most of the application now follows the design of DSPi Console for macOS.
The beta has since been refreshed in place. The Scale page of the Graphing settings, which had been omitted from Settings because it failed to load, is available again, and opening Settings no longer resets the graph's animation speed and line width.
The folder layout is unchanged from version 1.1.5. The archive contains a single DSPiConsole.exe at the top level, with the application and its dependencies in an app subfolder. Extract the entire folder, preserve its structure, and run DSPiConsole.exe as before.
What's new
- Filters may be edited upon the response graph: Each band of the selected channel appears upon the graph as a coloured point with a soft fill showing its contribution. A band is moved by dragging its point and its width is changed with the scroll wheel, while a card beside the point accepts typed values and offers the shape and slope. A double-click upon empty graph adds a bell, and a Ctrl-click offers a choice of shape. Several bands may be selected and moved together, and right-click menus and keyboard commands are provided for bypassing, inverting and deleting bands. The device follows a drag as it happens, and the change is recorded once upon release.
- Spectrum analyser: The response graph may show a live spectrum of any input or output behind its curves, a strip of third-octave bars may be shown beneath it, and a separate Spectrum Analyser window is opened with Ctrl+Shift+A. The measurement is made by the device, so every source is supported, including S/PDIF, ADAT and I2S. The analyser runs only while it is displayed.
- Tube Modeller: A Tube Modeller window (Ctrl+Shift+D) applies the character of one of sixteen vacuum tubes to the selected outputs, with drive, mix, a rectifier and an output stage that models the meeting of a valve amplifier's transformer with a loudspeaker. The basic mode presents the chosen tube and its principal controls, and the advanced mode presents the transfer curve with every character control.
- Subharmonic Synthesizer: A Subharmonic Synthesizer window (Ctrl+Shift+S) generates an octave below the bass for recordings that are deficient in low frequencies. It provides band levels, selectivity, a sub ceiling, a low-frequency boost, per-output selection with meters, and a solo control that is cleared when the window closes.
- A limiter on every output: Each output has a brickwall limiter with adjustable threshold and release. The icon beneath an output's mute button switches the limiter and indicates when it is reducing gain, and a right-click opens its settings. Linked outputs share their limiter settings.
- Firmware installation from the application: The application now carries the matching firmware for RP2040 and RP2350 boards. File > Update Firmware restarts the device into its bootloader, writes the firmware for its chip, waits for the device to return and confirms the version that it reports. A board already in bootloader mode is found automatically, an update that would be a downgrade is identified, and an export of the configuration is offered beforehand. A banner appears when the connected device runs a firmware version other than the one this release expects.
- Getting Started and What's New: A Getting Started wizard on first launch guides a new user from a blank Pico to verified DSPi firmware, and it may be run again from the new Help menu. Existing installations are not shown the wizard. A What's New window presents the release notes once after an update and may be reopened from the Help menu.

| 1.1.6-beta2 | 25 d’agost del 2026 | — | Qualsevol processador ZIP Notes de la versióThis is the second beta of version 1.1.6. It adds support for the I2C character and OLED displays introduced in recent DSPi firmware, together with the front-panel editing, the level bars, the line alignment and the per-LED brightness limit that accompany them.
The folder layout is unchanged from version 1.1.5. The archive contains a single DSPiConsole.exe at the top level, with the application and its dependencies in an app subfolder. Extract the entire folder, preserve its structure, and run DSPiConsole.exe as before.
What's new
- Displays: A character or OLED panel connected to a pair of I2C pins may now be configured from the Control Surfaces page. It is added in the same manner as any other control and is given a model, a pin pair and an address; only the data pin is offered, because the pin multiplexer fixes the clock as the next pin above it. What the panel shows is configured separately, as a set of dashboard pages: anything that a control may drive, a page may show, including channel groups. The panel may rest upon a single page, cycle a chosen set of pages, or cycle every parameter that the device provides, and whichever it is doing, a parameter that has just changed is shown briefly before the panel returns to what it was displaying.
- Front-panel editing: Three parameters allow a panel to be operated without a computer. Show Page moves through the configured pages, Allow Editing arms the panel for editing, and Browse/Adjust alters whatever is displayed. A single encoder and a single button therefore provide a conventional browse, arm and adjust front panel. Editing disarms itself after a configurable period, and arming is required by default, so that an inadvertent knock upon the control moves through the pages rather than altering a parameter.
- Level bars and large values: A page may draw its value as a bar within the parameter's own range or, upon a graphic panel, in a pixel-doubled font. A bar is offered only for a parameter that possesses a range within which to plot one.
- Line alignment: The name and the value are each placed to the left, the centre or the right of the panel.
- A brightness limit for dimmable LEDs: A PWM LED may be assigned a ceiling expressed as a percentage of full brightness. The limit scales the whole of the LED's range rather than clipping the top of it, so that a level meter retains its full sweep. A panel of mismatched indicators may therefore be evened out, or the whole of one dimmed for a darkened room.
- Remote keys may drive a channel group: A learned remote button may now address a group in place of a single channel, which previously required a macro to be fired upon each press.
- New parameters: CPU Load, which may be shown upon a page or followed by an indicator, together with the three display parameters described above.
Fixes
- A binding that the device refuses is no longer discarded: An Apply that failed re-read the device, which for a refused binding returns an empty slot; the card therefore emptied itself and removed the message explaining the refusal, which read as though adding the control had done nothing at all. The rejected draft is now retained, together with the reason for which it was refused.
- A newly created channel group is now available immediately: A group added upon the Channel Groups page did not appear within the target pickers of the other Control pages until the Settings window had been closed and reopened. A page that was not being displayed at the time was not informed of the change, and the refresh itself examined only those controls that already referenced a group.
- Changing a remote button's parameter no longer retains the previous one's settings: The channel, the value and the step size belonging to the parameter previously assigned were carried over, and the device rejected them where they did not apply to the parameter newly chosen.

| v1.1.5-beta6 | 27 de juliol del 2026 | — | Qualsevol processador ZIP Notes de la versióBeta release for testing.
What's new
- Stereo upmixer: new Upmixer window (Ctrl+Shift+U) deriving centre and surround channels from a stereo input, with Sinner and Logician engine modes, centre and surround conditioning controls, and a live telemetry strip that says why the upmixer is parked when it is. Inapplicable controls hide rather than grey out. The Matrix Mixer labels the derived rows as Upmix C/Ls/Rs while it runs. RP2350 only.
- Preset files: Import and Export are now submenus, with a new Preset File entry alongside Filters. A preset file holds the whole device configuration: input preamps, volumes, input source, loudness, crossfeed, the volume leveller, psychoacoustic bass, the upmixer, every channel's name, delay, gain, mute and enable state with its EQ and crossover bands, all matrix crosspoints, and the physical I/O wiring. Volume levels and I/O configuration are separate opt-ins when importing, off by default, and anything the connected device cannot accept is listed in the result instead of being dropped quietly.
- Control Surfaces: new bindings for the upmixer, psychoacoustic bass, per-output delay and preset reload. Channel targets now show your own channel names instead of "Output 1" and relabel live when you rename one. Enum parameters get proper labelled pickers in both the binding and IR command editors.
- Dashboard: cards follow renamed channels, pair correctly when a left channel is disabled (an unpaired right channel gets its own mono card), keep their gain, delay and muted text updating after an output toggle, and follow the active input set rather than a fixed stereo pair.
- Graph pills: dashboard channel visibility persists between sessions, and the extra inputs no longer start hidden. Opening a channel editor still narrows the graph temporarily, and backing out restores your saved configuration.
Known issues
- A channel muted from the main window rather than the matrix mixer can be written into a preset file as unmuted, until the app next re-reads the device.
- Output channel pairs cannot yet be linked.
- The routing preview for output channels currently only displays the first two routed input channels.
- The system master-mode sample rate setting is currently located on the I2S Configuration page, despite affecting other systems.
Fixes
- Linkwitz Transform: the settings popover no longer closes when moving between its fields. The popover now has Cancel and Apply buttons, defers edits until applied and rejects out of range entries. Switching a band into or out of Linkwitz Transform now clears the settings that cannot carry over: the transform stores its target frequency in the gain field, so a 30 Hz target used to become 30 dB of boost on the filter type you switched to.
- Fixed a device scan re-entrancy bug behind perpetual reconnect churn. Where opening the device takes longer than the scan interval, overlapping scans each tore down the connection the previous one had just made, so the app showed "device not connected" despite healthy USB traffic.
- Millisecond values in control surface bindings were encoded as plain integers, so a 5 ms output delay reached the device as 0.02 ms and the range displayed as 0 to 10752 instead of 0 to 42 ms.
- Signal generator: repeat 0 means infinite for sweeps as well as patterns, sweeps honour the gap setting, and the walk flag now switches the timing rows it actually affects. A device that has never staged a config no longer presents full scale as the starting level or rejects a sweep outright. Level edits commit on Enter or focus loss instead of applying part-typed values, an empty channel selection explains itself rather than failing silently, and closing the window stops the generator.
- Filter file export no longer loses Linkwitz Transform bands, first-order shelves and all-pass filters, or per-band bypass. Filter import can now reach input channels 3 to 8, which the exporter had been writing and the import dialog silently discarding, and it reports any chan |
| 1.1.5-beta5-hotfix | 18 de juliol del 2026 | — | Qualsevol processador ZIP Notes de la versióHotfix release on top of v1.1.5-beta5.
What's new
- Matrix mixer multichannel support: the mixer now shows one routing row per active input (up to 8, tracking the selected source's channel count) instead of the fixed stereo pair, with rows labelled by the sidebar channel names and a tighter layout when many inputs are shown. Routes on inputs 3-8 sync from the device, update live, and register in preset dirty tracking.
- Channel Identify: right-click an output channel in the sidebar and choose Identify to play a short ID chirp on just that output, making it easy to find the physical speaker.
- Graph: "Gain affects displayed level": new Graphing > Style toggle (default on) controlling whether each channel's response curve is offset by its output gain or input preamp. Input preamp is now reflected in the graph for the first time; turn the toggle off for the pure filter response.
- Filter lists: Ctrl to scroll-edit: the mouse wheel over PEQ and crossover value fields now only changes the value while Ctrl is held. A bare wheel scrolls the filter list, so no more accidental edits while scrolling.
- Source picker: a disabled ADAT input is now hidden from the source list entirely (previously shown greyed out), and the list updates immediately when ADAT is enabled or disabled.
Known issues
- Output channel pairs cannot yet be linked.
- The routing preview for output channels currently only displays the first two routed input channels.
- The system master-mode sample rate setting is currently located on the I2S Configuration page, despite affecting other systems.
> Requires up-to-date DSPi firmware (ADAT / psychoacoustic bass / control-surface support). |
| 1.1.5-beta1 | 15 de juny del 2026 | — | Qualsevol processador ZIP Notes de la versióBeta release for testing.
What's new
- Crossover filters — per-output high-order crossovers (Linkwitz-Riley, Butterworth, Bessel), edited by Family / Type / Slope / Frequency, and now rendered in the frequency-response graph (matching the device's actual filter design). New translucent filter status bar with PEQ⇄XO tabs and Enable All / Bypass All; the output gain/delay card and the status bar stay pinned while the filter list scrolls.
- I2S input — selectable as an input source, with a new Hardware → I2S Input settings page (conflict-aware RX data pin picker + master sample rate of 44.1 / 48 / 96 kHz).
- Preset "Save to…" — right-click a preset with unsaved changes to save the current (modified) state into another slot and switch to it, leaving the original untouched. The clean-state "Copy to…" is unchanged.
- Settings: Globals — the former Volume, Startup, and Output-configuration (Inclusion) pages are consolidated into a single General → Globals page.
Fixes
- Fixed a crash on connect caused by the device reporting an input source the app didn't recognize.
> Requires DSPi firmware with crossover / I2S input support (bulk wire format V11/V12). |
