Shortcut writes are now idempotent: unchanged shortcuts are left alone and custom launch arguments are preserved.

Configure Codex launch arguments, including proxy servers and PAC URLs. Saved arguments apply to Manager launches, post-update restarts, themed launches and the Start Menu entry. Quotes and spaces are preserved; clear the field to restore defaults.

Focusing an already-running portable app no longer reports a launch failure. Launch repair preserves the saved-arguments entry and uses a stable working directory. Failed shortcut cleanup after uninstall can be retried separately.

A local PowerShell cold start exceeded the default 5-second limit; the suite passed with a 20-second limit without changing test configuration. All three entry points in the portable install folder now launch with the correct CLI path and working directory.
- 兼容旧便携安装：更新或重新安装时，旧的平铺目录自动迁移到新布局；迁移失败会恢复原来的文件。
Updates and reinstalls migrate older flat layouts automatically, restoring the previous files if migration fails.
- 协议链接入口：Windows 默认应用中新增「Codex (Portable)」，选中后通过便携入口处理 codex:// 链接；卸载时清理该注册。
Select “Codex (Portable)” in Windows Default apps to open codex:// links through the portable launcher. Uninstalling removes its registration.
- 任务栏与中文路径：开始菜单快捷方式关联到便携入口；请从更新后的开始菜单项重新固定到任务栏。中文、空格和特殊字符路径也能正确保存，较长安装路径不会重复嵌入卸载命令。
Start-menu shortcuts identify the portable launcher correctly; recreate taskbar pins from the updated Start-menu entry. Shell metadata preserves Unicode and special characters, and uninstall commands avoid duplicated encoding on long paths.
验证范围： 自动回归、真实 x64/ARM64 MSIX 提取和安装器检查已通过。协议唤起、任务栏重新打开与登录后的浏览器联动仍需受影响机器复测。

# Codex App Manager v0.5.11

修复 Windows 多安装共存时反复显示「未管理」的问题，并更新依赖。

- **接管当前显示的安装**：同时存在 MSIX 与便携安装，或便携版被上游自行更新后，「开始管理」会刷新界面当前选中安装的记录，避免接管另一个安装导致状态一直无法恢复。
- **显示真实的 Manager 更新进度**：应用自身更新现在显示后端下载和安装进度，并由后端完成重启。
- **改进 Windows 下载**：兼容系统代理设置，并通过系统 TLS 下载链路改善部分网络环境中的连接问题。
- **更新依赖**：整合 13 个依赖更新，同步主程序及独立引擎的 Cargo.lock；CI 使用 --locked 检查，防止依赖检查时偷偷重写锁文件。

## 升级

可在 Manager 中检查更新，或从本页 Assets 下载对应平台安装包。遇到反复「未管理」时，升级 Manager 后再次点击「开始管理」。

便携安装请通过 Manager、开始菜单或 LaunchCodex.exe 启动。直接双击官方 ChatGPT.exe 时的包身份问题继续在 [#370](https://github.com/Wangnov/Codex-App-Manager/issues/370) 跟踪。日志中启动后立即 exit=0 的具体原因仍需受影响机器复测确认。

Windows download compatibility: the updater still prefers modern --no-progress-meter, but if an older system curl rejects that flag it retries with a compatible silent mode instead of stopping before the download really starts.
- macOS 安全校验更稳:Gatekeeper 校验前会尝试提高当前进程的文件句柄软限制,减少大型 .app 校验时遇到 Too many open files 的概率。
macOS security checks are more resilient: before running Gatekeeper assessment, the app now tries to raise its process file-descriptor soft limit, reducing Too many open files failures for larger .app bundles.
- macOS 失败提示更准确:如果 Gatekeeper 仍然报文件句柄耗尽,提示会说明是系统校验资源不足且不会替换文件,不再误写成 bundle 本身被拒绝。
macOS failure messaging is clearer: if Gatekeeper still reports file-descriptor exhaustion, the error now says the assessment could not complete and no files were replaced, instead of incorrectly saying the bundle was rejected.

Pausing an update actually resumes now — it used to bounce you back to the home screen and quietly restart from zero despite promising to continue; pause now stays on the progress screen with a 〔Resume〕 button that picks up from the exact byte it stopped at, and only Cancel discards the partial.
- 取消与安装阶段的提示更清楚:「取消」在「正在准备」阶段也能点(用来放弃整个更新),并和「暂停」做了颜色区分;下载完成、进入不可中断的安装阶段后,界面会显示「正在安装,请勿关闭」,而不是留一排点不动的灰按钮。
Cancel and the install stage read clearly now — Cancel works during "preparing" to back out, is colour-distinct from Pause, and once the download finishes the screen says "Installing, don't close" instead of leaving a row of dead, greyed-out buttons.

- 保留直链错包保护:如果自定义更新源直接给出 .msix 文件名,管理器仍会检查文件名里的 package moniker 是否和 manifest 匹配,避免 x64/arm64 或其他包混用。
Direct artifact protection stays in place — when a custom source exposes a direct .msix filename, the manager still checks that its package moniker matches the manifest to avoid mixing x64/arm64 or unrelated packages.
