Installation
WinGet:

Installer (Recommended):
- Target OS: Windows 11 or Windows 10 version 1809+
- Auto-installs if needed: .NET 10 Desktop Runtime, WebView2 Runtime
- Simply download and run - dependencies handled automatically
Portable:
- Extract ZIP and run ClipMate.exe
- Requires .NET 10 Desktop Runtime pre-installed
- Requires WebView2 Runtime (usually pre-installed on Windows 11)

- WinGet Upgrade Blocked - winget upgrade reported "No applicable upgrade found" for anyone on 0.1.0-beta.2 or earlier. The installer used Inno Setup's {autopf} directory constant, which resolves to either Program Files or the user's local app data depending on whether setup happens to be elevated. WinGet manifest generation read that as a machine-wide install and published Scope: machine, which WinGet then refused to apply over the per-user installs people actually had. The installer is now explicitly per-user and installs to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\ClipMate.
- Clip Database Deleted On Uninstall - Uninstalling ClipMate silently deleted %LOCALAPPDATA%\ClipMate, destroying your entire clip database and settings with no warning or opportunity to back them up. Uninstall now keeps your data by default and asks before removing it.
Note for existing users
If you installed 0.1.0-beta.3 from an elevated (Administrator) terminal, ClipMate landed in C:\Program Files\ClipMate and WinGet will not upgrade it to this per-user release. Back up %LOCALAPPDATA%\ClipMate, uninstall, then reinstall with winget install Tsabo.ClipMate.
