Bluefish: baixar versions anteriors

Bluefish 2.4.2 has a few new features and a few fixes. The most visible change is that Bluefish detects icon themes, and has built in icon themes for "Breeze" and "Breeze-dark". This is a big improvement for the visual integration of Bluefish on a KDE desktop. The most important fix is for a segfault that could occur if a filename on disk has a specific broken UTF-8 encoding. Some small improvements are reduced memory usage when working with 100+ files simultaneously, some translation improvements, and the <meta> author field is now configurable.

Bluefish 2.4.0 has some new features and many small improvements. It is no longer a 2.2 release because backwards compatibility with the 2.0 series of Bluefish has been removed. If you upgrade from 2.0 straight to 2.4 your config files and project files are no longer 100% correctly loaded. Starting from 2.4 Bluefish will place config files no longer in ~/.bluefish. On Linux it will be ~/.config and ~/.local/ , on Windows LocalAppData and RoamingAppData, and ~/Library/Application support on OSX. The biggest new feature, still experimental, is that you can edit two document side-by-side. A second new feature is that you can change opening and ending tags in XML or HTML simultaneously if you hit [ctrl][t]. Anothe new feature is that you can more easily save the current contents to a template. For new users, and also active in new projects, is a UI selection dialog, where you can choose between a UI optimised for web development, programming or just have everything enabled or disabled. This will help new Bluefish users to customize Bluefish in an easier way. There are a few fixes as well. Selecting lines by dragging in the margin works more reliable. Paste special works more reliable. Line comments in Python are better detected, which is visible in the syntax highlighting, but also improved the toggle comment function. The Windows build has better error messages when starting external commands fails.

A regression was found in the Bluefish 2.2.18 release. This is fixed in the Bluefish 2.2.19 release. The only other change is that the the dynamic menu shortcut changing feature that was re-introduced in 2.2.18 for the main menu is now also working for the snippets menu.

Bluefish 2.2.18 has much better CSS language support. The color editor now also supports hsl() and rgb() style colors. This Bluefish release also shows colors by just hovering the mouse over a color code. This version does also support the feature to dynamically change a shortcut key by hovering the mouse over a menu item and pressing a new shortcut key again. This feature was present in all gtk2 applications and has not been working for bluefish gtk3 builds until now. For Windows users the build has some important fixes, most important it can start external commands again such as preview in browser. This release removes the infobrowser from the build since it no longer compiles with new libxml versions. This plugin was already deprecated and disabled by default for years.

Bluefish 2.2.17 is a maintenance release that has only code cleanup fixes to comply better with modern compiler standards. It furthermore has fixes for a 64bit Windows build of Bluefish with Msys2. So there finally is an up to date Bluefish installer for windows again!
The windows build has a few remaining issues that need to be solved. The biggest issue is that starting external commands from within Bluefish does not yet work (such as a preview in browser, an external filter or just your favourite CI/CD pipeline). The other big issues is the character map plugin that is not yet included in the installer.
