This version of Bloxstrap is mostly just cutting down on features and options that now no longer work, due to some Roblox changes over the past few months.
- The following options have been removed:
- Multi-instance launching (roblox broke it)
- Old death sound (roblox added it back)
- The following Engine Settings presets have been removed:
- Disable player shadows
- Disable post-processing effects
- Disable terrain textures
- Disable full-screen titlebar
- Enable ability to hide GUIs (you can leave the group if you wish)
- Font size (can now be adjusted in-game)
- Framerate limit (should use the in-game one)
- Rendering mode (we didn't remove it properly in this update but it doesn't work)
- The Fast Flag editor has now been removed for people using Roblox Player
It's a lot, unfortunately. For some context, Roblox now whitelists what Fast Flags are allowed to be used by players (Devforum announcement). They've also been cracking down on multi-instance launching and now have preventative anti-measures for it.
All of Bloxstrap's other features like modding and activity detection will continue to work. We'll also be adding some new presets in the future that Roblox has decided to allow for.

Existing changes
- "Bloxstrap Menu" is now called "Bloxstrap Settings", or just "Settings".
The dedicated shortcut for it is also now gone.
To get to it, use the "Bloxstrap" shortcut.
- By default, there is now only one singular "Bloxstrap" shortcut which opens the launch menu.
In settings, you can choose to create shortcuts for specifically opening settings or launching Roblox.
- Bloxstrap now installs Roblox to a static \Roblox\Player\, instead of a constantly changing \Versions\version-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\ folder.
Therefore, it is now possible to make applications locate RobloxPlayerBeta without having to worry about the location changing.
- Also, there's no longer a dedicated option for disabling fullscreen optimizations.
Instead, you can now do it through compatibility settings.
- "Fast Flags" are now referred to as "Engine Settings" to better reflect what purpose they serve for general users.
- Bloxstrap now shows friendly, helpful error messages when unable to write to the registry, or when the install process fails.
- When creating a custom integration, the name is now autofilled when you choose an application. (thanks @Flikter!)
- Discord Rich Presence no longers displays the word "Playing" on your activity details, now just showing the game name.
- The "Behaviour" tab in Settings has been split into two smaller tabs: "Bootstrapper" and "Bloxstrap".
- Better bootstrapper error handling, will allow Roblox to continue launching if there's a connectivity error.
- All options in Bloxstrap Settings (such as configuration of mod presets) now take effect only and immediately when you click the Save button.
Bug fixes
- Bloxstrap's installation system has been completely rewritten.
Besides the new installer UI, the new system should be far more stable, addressing all the issues with it that existed before.
- Fixed flag presets being cleared when setting the texture quality to Automatic.
- For the font size flag preset, negative font sizes can now be set for making text smaller than default.

Important fixes:
- Bloxstrap no longer trips Byfron and crashes Roblox after a minute of running (if you're on the 64-bit/Byfron channel).
- If you're using ReShade, you'll now be forced to use the 32-bit Roblox channel.
ReShade is on its last knees, but hopefully this extends its life by a few weeks.
- rbxfpsunlocker has been removed altogether, being replaced in favour of a FastFlag mod preset.
