Aquí hi ha 3 versions de BATorrent, des de 5 de juny del 2026 fins a l’actual, 4.9.0. Cadascuna enllaça amb els instal·ladors del mateix desenvolupador.
| Versió | Data | Mida | Fitxers |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4.9.0Darrera versió | 9 d’octubre del 2026 | — | 64 bits EXE (Inno Setup) Notes de la versió### Added
• One **Add** button where there were three. Paste a magnet, a link, an
info-hash or a path — several at once, one per line — and the field says what
it worked out as you type, because routing is the part a pasted link cannot
show you. Choosing a `.torrent` sits beside it at the same size, since most
people arrive with a file.
• Folders in the file list when you add a torrent. Unticking one unticks
everything inside it, and a folder shows half-ticked when its files disagree.
The size follows what is ticked instead of staying at the torrent's total.
• A magnet looking for its file list now says so, with the time it has been
looking, a turning marker and a bar that admits it has no percentage yet.
Before, it read as a download sitting at 0%.
• Tiles say why a torrent is not moving:no peers, no seeds, stalled, an
incomplete swarm. The app worked these out already and only showed them on
hover, in list view.
• Seeding says whether anyone is actually on the other end. "Seeding" to three
people and to nobody for two days used to look the same.
• The category menu counts what is in each one and marks the one you are in,
which matters most for the categories you made yourself.
• A short, permanent line about what sharing means, with the longer version in
the setup wizard and in About.
### Changed
• Motion throughout:the command palette fades and grows, rows deal in once per
session, progress and the percentage glide between the engine's once-a-second
reports, a torrent finishing on screen gets a ring, and tabs share one sliding
underline. Static drop shadows are gone; borders do that work. Everything
respects reduced motion.
• The progress bar lost its dark plate and its inner percentage. The poster
already darkens at that edge, so the plate was black on black; the number sits
beside a thinner bar and is legible whatever colour the fill is.
• Settings moved in with Downloads, Find and HUB, because it is a page like they
are. What is left on the right is the VPN, which now says its state in words.
Donate moved to the footer:a link out is not navigation.
• Monospace is for raw data only — hashes, paths, logs. Sizes, speeds and times
are set in the interface typeface with tabular figures.
• One stroke weight across every icon, and one rule:solid means transport,
everything else is drawn in outline. Enforced by a check now, not by memory.
• Cached covers and metadata are swept at startup once the torrents they belong
to are gone, including anything still in the removed history, which can be
restored.
• Dismissing the setup wizard counts as having seen it. It was only recorded on
completion, so closing it once brought it back on every launch, for good.
### Fixed
• Opening a magnet or a `.torrent` from the browser, a file association or the
command line read freed memory:sometimes it added, sometimes it did nothing,
sometimes it took the app down with it.
• Windows crash reports arrived with no backtrace. An uncaught C++ exception,
an abort, and two of the C runtime's own failure paths never reached the
handler, which is the kind of crash most likely to be worth reporting.
• Settings written just before a crash or a force-quit could be lost, which is
one way the setup wizard came back.
• Torrent states showed in English whatever the language was set to, when the
engine runs as a separate process.
• A finished torrent kept showing a download speed for several seconds, because
the figure is a rolling average that fades rather than stops.
• A torrent marked completed said nobody was connected to download it. It is an
archive; nothing is being offered.
• A cover or a custom background that fails to decode now falls back instead of
leaving a hole or dimming the page over nothing.
• Deleting the selected torrent left a gap in the grid:the side panel collapsed
while the tiles were still animating into a layout that no longer existed.
• The first-run cover cascade played behind the wizard and was spent before
anyone saw it.

• Point BATorrent at your own VPN. Set it up in Settings and only this app goes
through it; if the tunnel drops, transfers stop instead of falling back to
your normal connection. Split tunnel, auto-connect, and the binding rechecked
over the tunnel's whole life instead of once at startup.
• Drop a WireGuard `.conf` on the VPN card to import it. Each profile shows the
country it actually lands in, resolved from the endpoint rather than the name.
• The network interface picker names the tunnel BATorrent brought up, and marks
the ones that look like tunnels, instead of listing identical-looking adapters.
• Direct downloads:any http link, segmented and resumable, with a fallback for
servers that refuse range requests. File hosts included. Paste it, use Ctrl+D,
or drop the link on the window.
• A setup wizard on first run:language and content language, theme, covers or
list, and where the navigation and detail panel sit. Every answer applies as
it is clicked. Reachable any time from Help, and shown once to everyone
updating to 4.8, since most of these settings were never easy to find.
• Search warns about releases that want a password, are too small to be what
they claim, or are cam rips, before the bandwidth is spent.
• More than one video plays at once, each in its own window.
• Start with the system, without the window opening minimised when it is
launched by hand.
• macOS:double-clicking a `.torrent` opens BATorrent.
• Windows:a bigger tray icon with a status dot under the wing, green while
bound to the VPN and red while not.
• Software replaces Apps as a category name, and Compressed joins the built-ins.
### Changed
• One progress bar for every state, same height and place:downloading in the
accent, seeding amber, done green, paused grey. Missing files and storage
errors get moving hazard stripes instead of a percentage, because a torrent
that stopped at 62% still has a number and drawing it claims progress that is
not happening.
• The detail panel keeps cover, title and progress on screen while the tabs
change, in both the side inspector and the bottom deck. The inspector
collapses to a rail, like the deck already could.
• New typeface, and one icon rule throughout:solid names a thing or a state,
a stroke names an action. Every context-menu item has an icon now, and the
toolbar's Copy wears a magnet, because it copies a magnet link.
• Free space moved next to the transfer figures; the navigation rail shows what
is transferring in the space it used to leave empty.
• Notifications have a dismiss button. They always closed on click, but nothing
said so.
• Find:"See all" opens that shelf as a grid instead of changing a filter chip.
### Fixed
• Brand-new magnets no longer appear as SEEDING. libtorrent reports "finished"
for a torrent that has nothing to do yet, and that answer was trusted raw.
• Storage failures are their own state, separate from files that merely moved.
• Adding the same magnet twice no longer creates a second entry that fights the
first for the same data.
• The category filter no longer hides everything when a category is selected.
• Expand details is disabled when nothing is selected, instead of looking broken. |
