ArWen 2.7.1
- Windows desktop: extract the ZIP and open ArWen.exe. Graphical setup installs the matching Python, CUDA dependencies, physics tables and geography, then checks the GPU.
- Linux desktop: manual Python setup on x86-64 Linux with glibc 2.39 or newer. Follow the included installation guide.
- Integration kit, desktop source, verification records, and checksums.
Windows local forecasting requires a compatible NVIDIA GPU and driver. First setup downloads several gigabytes; allow at least 25 GB free disk space, plus weather inputs and forecast output. Setup progress and errors remain visible in the application.
This maintenance release improves desktop runtime selection, startup reporting, controller timeouts, pending-request handling and compact-cache eviction behavior. Local progress waits for the worker startup handshake. Forecast-area geometry errors retain their specific explanation.
The separate engine distributions and native bundles below also serve the verified publishing and manual installation paths. Most users should choose a desktop download above.
